A/N:  Blanket statement regarding this chapter.  I don't like to give an precursors like spoilers to a chapter but I guess I am going to have to at this point.  Tae and Daisy have a discussion about the tutoring sessions and she brings up Hangul and the written language.  Tae tells her he won't be focusing on that really.  I do this for a reason, and that's simply because I personally can't wrap my head around the language myself.  My brain somehow literally dissects each symbol where they only become the circles and lines that the symbol is composed of.  So, please please don't come back and tell me that the Hangul language is super easy.  All it does is make me feel inferior and stupid for not being able to understand it myself.

The shenanigans in the water mostly consisted of a game of Marco Polo which I had honestly been trying to avoid. I really hadn't been looking forward to unintentional gropage. The thought of the possibility that there might be unintentional gropage made me nervous, whether it be them or me in regards to the action (although the secondary was probably less likely). Somehow the rules were adjusted so that I was it throughout the entire game. Once I found one of them the game was put on pause, and I got some snuggle time with the one I had caught for about five minutes. I didn't enjoy being 'it' every round, but I wasn't about to turn down the opportunity for individual cuddle time with each of my soulmates.

The game proceeded until I had an opportunity to catch each one of them. Tae had been the last one I caught, and he wasn't quite ready to let me go yet when it was announced that the game was over. So, while everyone else got out of the pool I lingered a bit longer in his arms. "I think I need to take you up on your previous offer." I announced when we were officially alone.

"Oh?" His eyebrows lift in surprise. "Which offer was that?"

"Will you teach me how to speak Korean? I guess maybe even teach me to write it too. The written alphabet is called hangul, right?" I hopefully asked him. I had looked it up previously, but I wasn't sure if I was remembering correctly or not.

"It is. Hangul is probably tricky though, since it is so vastly different from the English alphabet. We should probably first start with speaking basic, but necessary, phrases." He suggests.

I nod, readily agreeing with his point. We linger in the water for a few more minutes before I announce I should get out and get cleaned up. "I have to be pretty and presentable for the Vlive."

"Angel, you aren't just pretty. You are breathtaking. With or without makeup."

I grin up at him knowing my cheeks are flushed from his compliment. "You're such a sweet talker."

"I'm sweet at other things too." He gives me a look that I am more used to attributing to him while he is onstage before he kisses me fiercely and passionately.

When we finally come up for air. I take a deep cleansing breath before stating. "I wouldn't call that kiss sweet." He frowns for a second before I clarify. "That kiss was seductive and hot, and the only quality that made it sweet was because it came from you." Then his face evolves into that smoldering expression again which has me pulling away from him for real this time before I am no longer able to pull myself away at all.

Luckily there are no snags regarding cooking during the Vlive. Jk mans the phone we are using to stream. He has been speeding around from one place to another to trying to get as much content of each of us cooking as he can. I happen to see a comment in English mentioning how well Jin and I are working together in the kitchen. "One of the first mornings we were in Brazil I got to show off my cooking talents for the first time to them. I had decided to make breakfast empanadas. There were a lot of steps so Yoongi and Jin offered to help. That morning there was a lot of me directing them around on what I needed done, but we talked through this menu together beforehand. Otherwise you would probably be seeing us running around all willy nilly. Not unlike the bunny behind the camera." Jk cheekily turns the camera on himself, smiles, and waves then turns it back toward my cooking.

Once the supper was done we all grouped around the large dining table outside. Jk had put the phone up on a large tripod beside him. The others had all pulled out their cell phones to pull up the live so they could see any questions that would come up, but mostly they just focused on their food. The surf and turf idea ended up being a huge success, even to the two that don't eat seafood. They were thankful for their own tray that consisted of just the potatoes and corn. "I'm glad that I didn't have to do much prep work with the crab legs. Being from a landlocked state I was honestly at a loss."

"But, you handled the shrimp fine." Jin arches an eyebrow.

"The shrimp were already deveined. There wasn't really any prep required with them either. Although, I have cooked shrimp before, unlike the crab legs." I explain.

"What is your favorite food?" Jimin asks, indicating the screen to let me know it came from someone in the chat.

"That is one of the hardest questions possible to answer. It really depends upon my mood. To cook is probably my spaghetti recipe, but that's just because I get nostalgic thinking about my grandmother when I make it. To eat?" I shrug my shoulders. "Seafood wise I love crab legs." I lift one of the large ones I still have on my plate. "Especially the ones with the claws." I grin. "Homestyle? I love my grandmother's homemade chicken and noodles. Don't ask me to make that though. I've never succeeded in making the noodles like my grandmother did in that recipe. I can replicate everything but the noodles. I can only guess it has something to do with the fact that while I am a great cook, I can't bake for the life of me."

"It's because you are an intuitive cook. You go with your gut. Even when following a recipe you do things automatically that you think would make it better. Heck, I haven't ever seen you measure anything. When it comes to baking you would pretty much have to follow the recipe exactly. It's a science." Yoongi explains.

His interruption has the chat going crazy. I look over to Joon's phone since he is the closest and see a lot of 'uwu' happening. He smirks and looks directly at Yoongi. "The chat seems to think it's cute that you explained all that to her." He would be so embarrassed if he had called me honey in front of Army. I wonder how much of a conscious effort he had to put in to keep himself from calling me by his new pet name.

He shrugs nonchalantly as if it's no big deal. His blush is subtle but I still manage to notice it, especially around his ears.

"Where was I? Oh, I said homestyle was chicken noodles last. Um. Italian? While I could take the easy route and say my grandmother's spaghetti recipe, it wouldn't be true that it's my favorite Italian dish. My favorite Italian dish is probably lasagna. I don't know if my favorite Chinese dish is traditional Chinese cuisine or not. But, I personally love to order Singapore Chow Mei Fun. I love the spice, noodles, and the array of meats in it.

"That's about as adventurous as I have gotten food wise. Not out of desire, but out of time constraint. There are several other cuisines I would love to try though. Indian is one that truly tops my list." I pick at my plate some more. I focus on the remaining crab leg, despite the fact that I am pretty full.

"Favorite Dessert?" Hobi asks.

"I haven't been overly adventurous regarding desserts either. I want to try things like crème brûleé and tiramisu."

Before I can continue Jk interrupts me. "I don't think you would like tiramisu. You don't really like coffee."

I nod. "True. I still want to try it at least once though." Then I realize I didn't actually answer the question, so I take a moment to do just that. Although I think my answer is somewhat generic. "But, for right now I think my faves are ice cream and cheesecake."

"Strawberry cheesecake?" Hobi asks.

"I do love strawberries, and I wouldn't turn a piece of strawberry cheesecake away. But, my favorite cheesecake I have tried has been dulce de leche."

"Someone is asking if that is the one from 'The Cheesecake Factory,' and if so what is your favorite entree item from there?" Tae asks.

"It is the one from 'The Cheesecake Factory' yes. We spent a weekend in Indianapolis when I was younger, probably twelve or thirteen. I happened to see the sign for one a few blocks away from our hotel and convinced my parents to try it. I remember I ordered from the regular menu. It was a pasta dish, and the plate was probably double the size of my face. Um, what was it called?" I think for a second, but so much time has passed that I know the name is simply eluding me. "I guess I will just try to explain it as much as possible. It was a bowtie pasta with chicken, mushrooms, garlic, peas, a cream sauce, and either bacon or pancetta. My young self wouldn't have known the difference between the two." I hope that is enough of a description. I hate that I forgot the menu item name.

I'm surprised and thankful that someone actually goes as far as searching for the menu item I described. It takes them maybe about five minutes of searching after I mentioned it, but I am thankful nonetheless. "Oh the pasta I was talking about is called 'Farfalle with Chicken and Roasted Garlic?' You didn't have to search for me, but I am thankful for that information. Perhaps, I will have to someday make my own version of that recipe."

I notice the guys frowning occasionally, so I know not everything being said in Hangul is pleasant. But, I also know that they probably won't tell me what it was even if I directly ask them.

Once either our plates are empty, or we are claiming that we are full I decide to veer the conversation back to our meal. "What do you think was your favorite dish tonight?" I asked them.

Jk surprisingly points at the bean and sausage casserole. "I was really surprised by the combination. Not to mention the Brazilian sausage. What was it called again?"

"Calabresa." I state, hoping that my pronunciation is at least close to correct.

"Yes, I love the flavor of that sausage." He nods.

Jimin and Joon both say the steak, which doesn't surprise me in the least. Although they also both thank me for thinking of them when I made a separate tray of boiled foods, although they technically weren't boiled since I baked them in the oven instead. "It was honestly Jin's suggestion, but I am glad you liked it regardless."

Yoongi of course also says the steak, but then he adds on to it. "I love steak regardless, but I really loved the addition of the chimichurri sauce. I also was really fond of the rice mixture we had. The peas worked well with the other ingredients."

Jin concurrs. "I think the rice dish was actually my favorite, although I did like them all."

Hobi shrugs. "I couldn't pick just one. I loved them all. Petal, is an awesome cook!" He grins at me, not realizing he used my nickname which I immediately blush at. I don't verbally point it out, because I don't want to draw more attention to it. But, I know, without having to physically see it, that the chat is blowing up with Hobi's endearment (even if they have potentially heard it before from our previous Vlive).

Tae takes a bit longer to consider the dishes than the others. "I liked them all too, but I do really want to repeat the crab and shrimp boil again."

I nod. "I think I felt the same. The dishes were all amazing, but crab is one of my favorite foods of all time. So, if I had to pick one I would probably choose that."

Before ending the stream I add. "By the way, Jk helped me with a special project today. We made some prep videos of all the dishes we had for supper. I will include links to the recipes the dishes are based off in case you want to try them yourself. They will probably be posted on social media in a few hours. Bye Army! Hope you have a wonderful day or night depending upon wherever you might be!" I wave, perhaps overenthusiastically, at the phone.

We all go back in the house and I turn to ask them a question that honestly hadn't come up until now. "Our plane takes off pretty early. Since it's such a long flight should we just stay up all night?"

"We should probably at least take a nap. Why don't you go ahead and take your shower. We will start getting everything cleaned up here." Joon responds, but somehow I don't think that the only thing they are going to do is clean up. I feel like they are up to something, and it's not something for my ears to overhear. Granted they will probably just speak in Korean, and I won't understand anyway. I don't know if I should feel cautious or offended. Then I decide neither of those are the right emotions. There are going to be times where they need to discuss stuff without me, whether it is regarding me or not.
