Abilities (Basic):
All basic DarkWings can breathe a black fire that doesn't shed light and can see in the dark, although this night vision doesn't discern color. Furthermore, all DarkWings can dissolve into darkness, and prolonged exposure to light will kill them, with the exception of moonlight and starlight.
Abilities (Lumo):
Occasionally, a DarkWing is born with this mutation. A Lumo breathes regular fire and lacks night vision. However, they can dissolve into light, and prolonged exposure to darkness will kill them, with the exception of the naturally-dark night.
Abilities (Half):
This mutation is incredibly rare. A Half will have the stated abilities of their primary scale shade (either Basic or Lumo), although it will be slightly more resistant to the shade's weakness.
Abilities (Mages and Royals):
Thirteen mages exist at a time. They, among with the royals, can expand on their abilities (either light or dark). Furthermore, the Queen has two extra magical abilities to aid their rule. These abilities vary, yet they always pertain to the Queen's destiny.

Appearance (Basic):
All basic DarkWings have deep red eyes (although genetic royalty will have violet) and dark-colored scales, yet will always be primarily black or dark gray. However, they can also have dark blues, reds, and greens.
Appearance (Lumo):
A Lumo DarkWing will have yellow eyes (with genetic royalty having green) and light-colored scales, usually primarily white or light gray. However, they can also have any pastels, and light blues, reds, and greens.
Appearance (Half):
A Half DarkWing will have one eye of each of the other DarkWing types. They will primarily  have the colorings of one of the types, yet will also have the colors of the other.

Alliances:
Currently, the DarkWings are allied with the HorrorWings ( fuckitsshark ) and the BlossomWings ( BeeKing-Roleplays ).
