Claudia was sitting on her bed watching Nathan doing crunches on the floor, wearing a "Duke" shirt. That made her worry a lot about colleges.  

"Hey Nate, that's Jack we have go to go pick up my parents." Claudia said as she heard a knock on the door. "You sure you still want to come?" Claudia asked and Nathan nodded his head. "I mean afterwards we have to go to your mum's intervention." Claudia continued and Nathan stood up and walked towards her.

"Of course I will come." Nathan smiled before they kissed, Jack opened the door and looked at them. Haley was beside them.

"Hurry up." Jack shouted as he closed the door. Claudia laughed before she walked hand in hand out of the apartment with Nathan.

"Well if it just the two most beautifulest people I have ever seen." Josie exclaimed as she ran over to the four teenagers. "Nathan and Haley!" Josie shouted and Claudia rolled her eyes.

"Very very funny." Jack stated monotone before he hugged his mum. 

"Mum!" Claudia exclaimed as she hugged her mum. "I have missed you so much." Claudia smiled as she buried her head on her mum's shoulder.

"I have missed you too and we have a lot to catch up on." Josie replied and Claudia nodded her head. Tom came up behind them with all their bags. Nathan ran over to him and helped him. "Nathan is amazing." Josie smirked as she looked at him. Claudia slapped her before she hugged her dad.

"Dad, I have missed you." Claudia smiled as her dad pulled out of the hug. "Please tell me you have new music for me to try." Claudia laughed and Tom pulled the sheets out of his bag.

"Here. I have wrote so much." Tom smiled as he handed him to his daughter. Claudia read over one of the titles.

"Free Me?" She asked and Josie smiled at her, she was spekaing to Nathan who was holding the bags.

"I wrote it when you were a sleep one night on tour." Josie explained and Claudia read over the lyrics. 

"I am going with this one." Claudia grinned and Josie smiled with delight.

"Can we get food now?!" Jack asked as his stomach growled. Claudia laughed as she helped Nathan with some of the bags.

"So Nate, hows basketball?" Tom asked as they walked off in front of everyone. Haley, Claudia and Josie stayed behind. Jack was in the middle of the two groups, by himself.

"You two have got yourself some great guys." Josie smirked as she threw her arms over the best friends and hugged them closer to her as they walked.

Claudia and Haley walked up to Lucas and Peyton. Claudia was carrying her books as she walked. She was wearing a denim skirt and a white shirt with a blue denim jacket. 

"Hey." Peyton smiled and both Claudia and Haley waved at her.

"So how was the Manson family reunion?" Lucas asked and Claudia sighed.

"Ugh, you know it was kind-a like the end of Lion King." Claudia started and they all stopped to look at Claudia. "When all the Hyenas gang up and eat Scar." Claudia finished and the three friends nodded their heads slowly. 

"Ooh, how'd Nathan take it?" Lucas asked sympathetically and Claudia just shrugged.

"He stiffed me on a ride to school." Claudia muttered as a motorcycle pulled out. Claudia looked at it gaping. "That is one rad bike." She smirked and then she saw the owner of the bike, her smile fell to a frown. 

"Nathan, what!" Claudia shouted confused as hell.

"What do you think?" Nathan asked grinning as he sat on the bike. Claudia thought he looked amazing on the bike. Lucas, Haley and Peyton stayed where they were but Claudia walked up to Nathan.

"Okay as hot as you look on it, why the hell did you buy a motorcycle?!" Claudia asked shocked and Nathan continued to grin.

"No, that's the beauty of it. I traded the car for the bike." Nathan replied and Claudia looked away annoyed. They needed the car. "I made two hundred bucks now we can pay some bills." Nathan continued, Lucas looked unsure as Peyton just watched. Haley was shocked. "We'll have a ton of money on gas." Nathan finished and Claudia looked annoyed. Nathan accidentally pushed the gas and the motorcycle skidded a little further. It startled Nathan and gave Claudia no hope whatsoever.  "Whoa--jeez!" Nathan laughed as he shrugged. Claudia shook her head with her arms crossed over.

"Nathan bought a motorcycle." Claudia stated angrily to Brooke as she slammed her locker shut. She was just wondering how Nathan could be so careless especially now that they have a baby on the way. "Like he was smoking on it but that is beside the point. He bought a motorcycle. How the hell am I meant to get to school or to work? Oh my god he is going to end up like the bad boy the parents don't want you to date!" Claudia exclaimed freaking out. Brooke looked over at her.

"Okay you watch too many movies and read too many books." Brooke laughed and Claudia looked at her serious.

"Brooke this is serious." Claudia replied as she fixed the strap on her bag.

"Well, Rachel ... thinks," Brooke stated, "I should have an abortion." Brooke hissed and Claudia made an 'oh' face. She felt bad for Brooke because she had to take everything head on. That is what friends do.

"Okay, yours is worse." Claudia replied as they started to walk down the hallway. Shelly, from Clean Teens, overheard their conversation and followed after the two friends. Claudia saw Shelly standing there and felt so bad, considering she was pregnant and still a high schooler.

"I am going to go." Claudia smiled awkwardly before she walked away from the Clean Teen and Brooke.

The students were taking a test, Nathan and Claudia were sitting next to each other. There was a shadow on the door window to show someone was coming in. When the door opens it was Deb who looked a mess. 

"Nathan?" Deb whispered grabbing the whole classes attention.

"Mom, what are you doing here?" Nathan asked confused and all the students looked up. Claudia turned behind her to see Haley looking shocked.

"You have something that belongs to me." Deb said sternly and Claudia looked over at Nathan sympathetically. 

"Mom, I'm not doing this." Nathan replied embarrassed, Claudia looked at Deb angrily.

"We're in the middle of a test." The teacher stated but everyone knew that was a waste of time.

"I want my pills." Deb stated sterner and Claudia shook her head.

"Mrs. Scott--" The teacher began to say but Deb interrupted.

"Don't!" Deb shouted. Nathan, embarrassed, closed his eyes then mouthed "Oh, my God". He covered his face with his left hand and sighed, Claudia watched as Deb desperately passed her and went to Nathan. She stood in front of his desk and they both looked at each other.

"I'm not leaving here until I get my damn pills." Deb stated and

"Okay." Nathan scoffed and Claudia looked at him like he was insane. Nathan opened his backpack.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Claudia whispered to Nathan as he placed the bottle of prescription pills on top of desk on top of his test paper. Nathan nodded his head.

"Go ahead." Nathan taunted as Deb looked at them almost anxious. "Take 'em but I'm warning you ... it's either the pills or me." Nathan warned and Claudia swallowed nervously. Deb started at Nathan for a moment and then she snatched the bottle from his desk and walked away. Claudia looked at her in disbelief. She could not believe a mother would pick pills over her son. She couldn't believe what world we were living in.

"Okay, everybody, back to work, back to work." The teacher said to the class awkwardly as Deb slammed the door shut. Nathan looked down, upset and laughed sadly. Claudia didn't know what to do or say without making things worse.

Nathan had his shirt off and he had his hand in a puddle in the sink that was filled with water, the water was pink since it has been mixed with his blood. When he pulled his arm out he held his arm up and dabbed on it, there was a seriously nasty cut on his arm. 

"Nathan!" Claudia shouted as she entered the apartment. There was no reply so she checked all the rooms, she saw Nathan in the bathroom and quickly noticed his injuries. "God!" Claudia gasped as she put her book bag on the counter. "What happened?" Claudia asked as she started to attend to his injuries. 

"It's okay, don't worry, these days they can ... I don't know--they can graft skin from my ass." Nathan replied as he tried to brush it off like it was nothing. Claudia looked up at him scared.

"Are you hurt anywhere else?" Claudia asked worried as she looked at his back, luckily his back was fine. 

"No, I'm fine." Nathan answered as they looked at the other side of his shoulder which was really badly injured. "Bike's pretty messed up though." Nathan continued as Claudia prepared liquid to put on his arm.  

"Bike, great." Claudia muttered not thrilled at all, as much as she loved motorcycles. Nathan stared at his injury in the mirror making an 'ouch' face. "Okay, I want you," Claudia began to say as she turned to face Nathan and put the cloth on his arm, "to put the bike back and get the car. I am hoping to have you as my husband for like another seventy years at least." Claudia finished rambling off.

"Claudia, nothing's gonna happen to me." Nathan replied and Claudia looked annoyed.

"You are not invincible!" Claudia ground sternly as she got a sense of deja vû. "God this is like Lucas all over again." Claudia groaned to herself as she grabbed the tweezers. "Nathan. I know that it's really hard  for you to explain." Claudia began to say as she grabbed Nathan's arm, "what happened to you down under that water and," Claudia continued as she took the stuff off of Nathan's arm and he groaned, maybe Keith did save you, maybe you saved yourself, I don't know but the point is that either way it means that you are suppose to be here right now." Claudia finished explaining before she smiled up at him. "I need you to be here right now." Claudia smiled, Nathan still kept a straight face. 

"Claude, that's not it." Nathan replied and Claudia exhaled. "My mom came into school today and in front of everybody chose pills over me." Nathan said and Claudia looked at her husband sympathetically. She placed a hand on his cheek and sighed. 

"Here." Claudia stated handing Nathan the tweezers. She grabbed her bag and swung it over her shoulder. 

"Wait, where are you going?" Nathan asked confused and Claudia kissed him on the cheek.

"You take care of the bike ... please?" She asked, she really wanted the bike gone. "I will take care of your good ole mummy dearest." Claudia continued as she walked away from him and out of the apartment. Nathan stared at himself in the mirror for a second, he sighed and shook his head.

Claudia pounded angry at the door with her palms. She started hitting it with one hand then she rang the doorbell. Deb answered and she was taken back a little by the pounding. Claudia was furious.

"Stay away from him." Claudia stated angrily and Deb stayed quiet. "For all I care you can go to hell but I will not let you take Nathan with you." Claudia continued and Deb smiled smugly.

"Talk to me in a few years, Claudia ... when your dreams are dead and your child betrays you ... then we'll see what kind of mother you'll be." Deb explained and Claudia shook her head at the junkie.

"No, no--no--no, I will never, ever ... be like you, Deb." Claudia stuttered before she began to walk away. 

"You know," Deb began and Claudia stopped, "pretty soon Nathan's going to realize," Deb continued and Claudia turned to face her mother in law, "that college basketball is a lot more fun than playing house." Deb finished and Claudia knew Nathan was not like that, right? "I'll save you some pills." Deb smiled smugly and Claudia laughed to herself.

"Who are you kidding, Deb?" Claudia asked smirking and Deb stayed quiet. "Junkies don't save pills." Claudia stated turning from smirking to serious. She marched off and Deb slammed the door shut.

In the very busy TRIC, Claudia and Haley were sitting on the couches together chatting, Brooke walked over to them and sat down beside them. Claudia saw Nathan walking over to them. "Hey," Claudia smiled weakly as she stood up, "please tell me were going home in four wheels." She continued desperately, she wanted the car back so bad.

"The guy wouldn't give me the car back because the motorcycle's to messed up." Nathan explained and Claudia sighed frustrated "But look, I'll figure something out, okay? It just ... it might take me a couple days." Nathan continued and Claudia just nodded her head as she tied her hair back into a messy low bun using a elastic hair band.

"Mm-kay." Claudia replied annoyed.

"Mm-hmm, I'm going to get a drink." Nathan stated awkwardly before he walked off to the bar. Brooke and Haley stood up and they began to walk with Claudia. 

"Okay, just think about it this way most guys buy a motorcycle 'cause they're compensating for ... you know--Nathan wears size fourteen's!" Brooke exclaimed and Claudia rolled her eyes as Haley laughed aloud. 

"Thanks, I feel so much better now." Claudia replied back sarcastically and Brooke just shrugged, Claudia looked at Haley and smiled weakly. "I have to tell you a piece of news but promise me when you find out you won't say anything really loud. Promise?" Claudia asked and Haley looked over at Brooke who was smiling.

"Promise." Haley smiled as she linked pinky's Claudia.

"I am pregnant, Nathan doesn't know yet." Claudia replied and Haley hugged her best friend tightly.

"Oh my god." Haley laughed excitably. "This is the best news I have ever heard. It's better than my acceptance letter to Stanford!" Haley exclaimed and Claudia looked at her sternly.

"You got into Stanford." Claudia replied and Haley nodded her head. "Congratulations!" Claudia exclaimed as she hugged her best friend.

"Best Friend that's amazing!" Brooke smiled at Haley who smiled at them both. Claudia was so happy for Haley right now, everything Haley wanted was coming true.

Claudia walked up to the bar completely shocked, one she saw Nathan chatting to Rachel and second, her mum was working at the bar. Claudia waved at Karen before she sat on the stool next to the bar. Her mum passed her a glass of water.

"Mum? You're helping?" Claudia asked in complete shock. Josie leaned on the bar smirking.

"What I can't bartend?" She asked flipping the bottles over, she nearly dropped on. "Maybe I should not do that?" Josie laughed and Claudia joined in.

"Maybe." Claudia replied back jokingly. "I thought you would be singing." Claudia explained changing the subject.

"Well we will see." Josie smirked. "Now show me this Rachel." Josie said changing the subject. Claudia had explained to her mum and dad everything that Rachel had done to her husband. Josie was not happy to say the least. 

"Over there, speaking to my husband." Claudia groaned and she tilted her head in Nathan and Rachel's direction as she fiddled with her straw. Josie hissed and then she got an amazing idea.

"I can sort that sweetie." Josie smirked and Claudia shook her head at her mum who was really a seventeen year old trapped in the body of a thirty seven year old, she was sixteen when she Quinn the eldest, then she was seventeen when she had Jack and eighteen when she had Claudia. Then at nineteen they moved to America, lived in Charlotte till Claudia was three, then it was Tree Hill.

"Mum- no mum don't!" Claudia tried to hissed but it was too late. Rachel was about to experience the wrath of Josie and it was a lot worse than Claudia's. Josie walked straight up to Rachel and Nathan at the other end of the bar. Josie smiled falsely at Rachel.

"What can I get you kids?" She asked holding a bottle and then she snapped her fingers and looked at Rachel. "Sorry I was trying to find out where I recognised you." Josie laughed as she poured drinks into cups.

"Oh the magazine shoot." Rachel smiled back and Josie shook her head as she handed them the drinks.

"No I think it was the free clinic." Josie replied and Rachel looked shocked. "Bye Nathan, enjoy the drinks you two." Josie smiled falsely before she walked back to Claudia and Haley- who joined Claudia. They couldn't stop laughing they heard the whole thing.

"Josie. I swear you and Karen are literally the best moms ever." Haley laughed and Claudia just smirked alongside Josie. Josie felt like a proud mum.

Peyton walked onto the stage at TRIC and Claudia stood their with Haley and Jack. 

"Hey, Tree Hill! You guys ready?!" Peyton exclaimed and the crowd cheered, Claudia, surprisingly was in the excited mood. "All right?! Please welcome, Lupe Fiasco!" Peyton shouted as she pointed over to him, Nathan walked up to Claudia. Lupe Fiasco and his entourage came out. Peyton smiled as he handed him the microphone as they crowd cheered.

"What up, Tree Hill? What's going on?" Lupe asked getting the crowd buzzed. His hit rack 'Kick Push' started to play. Claudia and Nathan were watching it. Nathan had his arms around Claudia's waist and he had positioned his head so that his chin rests on top of her head, since he was a foot taller then her. Claudia felt safe for a moment before the worriedness spread over her.

Claudia and Nathan were sitting at the bar together, Claudia was smiling up at her mum who was singing the in the background. She finally took the mic.

"So have you heard, about Brooke?" Nathan asked and Claudia looked at him weird.

"Nathan, maybe not here." Claudia replied wanting to change the subject, she felt bad that Brooke was going through all of this.

"You knew about it, didn't you?" Nathan asked in a disappointing tone, Claudia looked down and Nathan chuckled. "You remember that fight we had about birth control?" Nathan asked and Claudia looked at him worried.

"Obviously, it was our worse fight." Claudia replied laughing a little.

"Brooke and Lucas both heard that entire thing. I mean, you'd think after something like that they'd use two condoms ... and how could you just not tell me?" Nathan asked and Claudia shrugged a little.

"Because she's scared to death." Claudia replied trying to help herself and how Nathan will react once she tells him.

"Yeah, she should be. I mean, how do you just tell a guy that his life is over?" Nathan asked before he drank his drink. Claudia sighed as her stomach sunk and her heart dropped. She was scared.

"Mum, Dad can we speak?" Claudia asked as she pointed to the back room, both her parents nodded their heads and followed after her.

"What's wrong?" Tom asked worried about his youngest child. Claudia took a deep breath and sighed. "Is it Nathan?" Tom asked and Claudia shook her head and then nodded her head.

"I-I am pregnant." Claudia stated and her parents just looked at her without saying a word. Claudia looked down.

Claudia walked into Lucas's bedroom, he was sitting on a chair by his bed. 

"I'm pregnant." Claudia stated as she sat down on Lucas' bed. Lucas gave her a 'what?' expressions and chuckled. He was relieved it wasn't Brooke, like the rumours said. He sighed happily as he sat next to Claudia. "Nathan's just been working really hard and all of his dreams are so close and this ... this just changes everything." Claudia explained getting really really worried.

"Well, Nathan isn't Dan ... he'll understand." Lucas replied and Claudia shook her head.

"I'm really scared, Luke." Claudia said tearfully as she began to cry. Lucas hugged her. 

"Shhh, it's going to be okay." Lucas said comfortingly as he hugged her, Claudia continued to cry. She was so worried.

"How do you know?" Claudia asked with the tears falling down her face.

"'Cause this kid's going to have a great Uncle." Lucas replied and Claudia smiled a little as they pulled out of the hug. "I learned from the best." Lucas added, Claudia closed her eyes and nodded. "How did your parents take it?" Lucas asked and Claudia sighed before she looked at Lucas.

"They were ecstatic by the idea of them being grandparents." Claudia laughed and Lucas grinned at her.

"See everything will be okay." Lucas replied and Claudia just shrugged as she leaned her head on Lucas' shoulders.
