"So your going to check out this new kid?"
"Yep. He may be our last chance. We have to choose one soon."
"I know sir."
"Dismissed."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Graff was annoyed. First off, he was suppose to find some kid genius to save the world. All of the ones he had found so far had failed. Second, this infernal train was stinky. He preferred a nice, clean space shuttle any day. Third, the change of gravity was getting to him. He felt as if earths gravity was trying to squish him. And then there was the kid in his luggage.
When he had opened up his suitcase for a small snack (there was more than one reason he felt a bit heavy, Graff was a bit prone to eating when under extreme stress.) and found two brown eyes staring at him he nearly screamed. He was more ticked at himself then the kid. After all, if some baby could sneak into his luggage, someone could probably steal from him, or plant something in it. He nearly slapped himself in the face. "Now how the bugger did a BABY get into my bag?!" He had exclaimed. "I ain't no baby. I'm three." The girl said with a little smirk. "'Cause your dumb and inattentive." Graff nearly fell on his face. There was no way this kid was three. First of all, she was about the size of a one-year-old, and was as skinny as a twig. Barley old enough to talk, she looked. And even if she was three, three year olds don't say words like inattentive. This day was getting weirder and weirder. "Why are you in my bag?" He half growled. "'Cause I don't got no money to pay fare. And I need to get to a different town." Graff really wasn't in the mood for something crazy like this. He just needed to get this Andrew kid. "You know what? Just stay in the bag. I'll let you out when I get there." Then, with a huff, he stretched out to take a nap.
When he go to his stop, he let the kid off, just as he's said. Only then he realized he might have just missed a perfect opportunity.
