Later that evening Hermione was in the common room curled up in a chair and reading a history of magic harry was also in the common room doing his potions essay which Hermione completed yesterday although every now and then he would glance at the young bookworm "Harry can you please tell me why you are looking at me and not on your essay" she asked not taking her eyes off the book "Oh Hermione i am just just scared i cant lose you and all that happened this year" he replied but Hermione just giggled and ran to hug him "Oh Harry" says the young gryffindor girl "You are so cute when you are protective and don't worry about me i spent days in the library searching on defensive spells don't worry Ok"
But at that moment an big brown barn owl came to Hermione she looked surprised and opened it after she finished reading the letter she gave it to Harry and it read

Hermione looked at harry and said "can you come with me please" but he just shook his head sadly and said "Sorry Mione but I think Dumbledore wants to talk to you alone but don't worry it will be fine"
then Hermione made there way to the office after they said the password the gargoyle came to life she knocked and entered when they came in Dumbledore said "Why Hello Miss Granger home sit down " "sir you wanted to speak with me" she said "yes of course" said the old headmaster as he leaned forward to her "Miss Granger i want to ask you if you had found a magical guardian to take care of you as you are now an orphan" he asked "Well no professor but i am thinking of asking professor McGonagall" but professor Dumbledore explained all the contracts she must fill in order to achieve this goal when he was done Hermione asked him "But Professor won't i go to an orphanage?" He just chuckled and said "Why no dear only unless professor McGonagall says so which i doubt" then they said goodbye and Hermione made her way to gryffindor common room when she came in lots of people were laughing and pointing at her she heard the words "potter didn't really chose a Mudblood friend" Hermione then ran to her dorm where she cried all her tears and then slept in her drenched pillow but little did she know that the pillow with a note written by Harry
