It was a Saturday and so many owls came in but hermione (who was busy reading a history of magic) paid no attention for no owl would come to her or so she thought but when a brown owl came to her it was a huge shock her parents were muggles they don't have an owl so why on earth would a owl have a letter for her so surprised she took the letter but when she read it her blood went cold it was from the Ministry of Magic but she didn't do anything wrong so why would the minister send her a letter it read

We have sent you a letter to tell you that your parent have been killed by a dark wizard it is our duty to inform you that now you are a orphan but you may choose a magical guardian to take care of you.
