Umm... basically I'm a 9th grader and its like our 4th quarter for the school year.

And in our English class we have our final project. A class play of Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. We added our own modern touch to it.

And this is basically a progress report and a rant book for all the drama that will happen.

Imma also point out that i wont be mentioning any names and yah... i also wont be showing yall the script.

Just a short description about the play..

Tech and logistics- 11

Script writers - 8
-we have to make an adaptation of a part from Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Nights Dream' with a modern touch. We only have 6 main characters so we needed to add 5. After that we need to implement a new setting and a slightly different plot but still close to the real play. The play also has to show some Filipino values and must be below 20 minutes.

This is 40% of our English grade

We need to make a professional script with correct formatting, with dialogues, character descriptions, soundtracks, stage positions, stage directions, lighting, etc.

As for props we already know that and English cooperated with Art so our props will be graded in Art according to the play

Costumes, should be appropriate to the play

Music must be based off of the classical and romantic era since English cooperated with Music class so the play is also part of out Music grade.

For tech we have to digitally draw our own backgrounds and use projectors or something, they are also in change of lighting, special effects and sounds.

As for logistics they are the run mans that have to fix and tidy up the stage for the next scene and they are extra hands.
