A girl with a short hair and another who's short walks to their next class

"Tae Yeon-ah! You're my guide." says the long haired girl.

"Guide?" says the short girl.

"Yeah! You're the one who's leading me, so you're my guide." The short haired girl tightens her grip on the other girl's arms.

Tae Yeon opens the door of their next class and enters.

"You can let go now Jessica."

"Aw, but your arms, they're so nice to hold."

Tae Yeon and Jessica have already known each other since last year. They were both taking the same foreign language class. Tae Yeon's desk was in front of Jessica's. When they're passing papers, Tae Yeon would flirt with Jessica by giving the paper to the person behind Jessica.

"Noo!" Jessica says as she tries to grab the papers.

Ah... you're so cute when you squeal.

The next day, their foreign language teacher formed a new seating chart. Tae Yeon sat in front and Jessica made a request to change her seat.

"Tae-Tae! I'm your partner now!" Jessica said, smiling.

"What? Aren't you supposed to sit back there?" Tae Yeon asked.

"No, I asked if I could move since Justin was already my partner before."

"Ah, okay...."

"This will be fun!" says Jessica in a high pitch voice.

When class has ended, Jessica calls out her friend and goes near her. Tae Yeon would stand there, looking away.

Why am I feeling like this everytime I see them together? Jealous? Why? She's only a friend to me...

Next semester, Tae Yeon went to her new 2nd period class. As soon as she opens the door, she sees her friend Sunny. Behind her was her friend Seo Hyun. And next to Seo Hyun was Jessica. Sunny called Tae Yeon out.

"Sit here! Sit here!" Sunny points at the desk beside her.

After a few weeks, their 2nd period teacher decides to make a seating chart. Everybody was moved to different seats, except for some people. Jessica still sat behind Tae Yeon. Seo Hyun stayed in her seat. Sunny was moved somewhere far from her previous seat.

Jessica yawns. "I'm so tired."

Tae Yeon looks back. "You're always tired."

Jessica crosses her arms and lays her head on top of it. Tae Yeon looks back, trying to get a view of Jessica. She sees Jessica sleeping.

You're so beautiful when you're sleeping...

The next day, Tae Yeon lays her arm on top of the bar in her seat. Jessica grabs it and makes it her pillow. She lays her head on Tae Yeon's arms and holds her hand.

Her head on top of my arms... Her hands holding mine...

Tae Yeon looks at Sunny. Sunny was looking at them. As soon as Sunny realizes that Tae Yeon was looking at her, she looks away.

Why is she staring at us?

The next week, Jessica grabs and lays on Tae Yeon's arms again. This time, Tae Yeon moves her hands away a little bit.

"Ya! You're always using my arm as a pillow!" Tae Yeon says, waking Jessica a little bit.

"You're my pillow!" Jessica says as she goes back to sleep.

Jessica lay on her left hand. Her other hand touching Tae Yeon's hand that was still on top of her desk.

Her hands...

Tae Yeon felt Jessica's hand twitch a little.

Your arms are so soft...

The discussion has ended. There were five minutes left in class. All the students in the classroom packed their stuff. Jessica opens her arms. Tae Yeon sees her and quickly moves away but Jessica catches her. Jessica gave her three hugs. As she opens her arms again, Tae Yeon moves behind another desk.

The bell rang and students were coming out of the classroom. Tae Yeon made a step forward. She sees Jessica waiting for her to come out behind the desk.

Dead end... Tae Yeon says on her mind as there was no way out except the way where Jessica is. Arg! She'll hug me again!

She moves away from the desk and runs as fast as she could but Jessica catches her and hugs her.

"Aw, Tae Yeon doesn't like hugs."

Their next class was foreign language. Their teacher moved seats again. This time, Tae Yeon is far away from Jessica.

As the teacher is discussing, Tae Yeon talks to her friend in front of her by making notes on paper. She turns around and took a gaze of Jessica. She sees Jessica looking at her. Jessica makes a heart sign and smiles. Tae Yeon makes an 'X' mark by crossing her arms, smiling and laughing silently. Jessica makes a sad face and still makes a heart sign. Tae Yeon makes a heart sign and then makes a sad face, telling Jessica that she doesn't like her, jokingly. Jessica didn't know what Tae Yeon meant about that so she smiled and made a heart sign. Tae Yeon did another 'X' mark. Jessica makes another sad face. Then Tae Yeon did a heart sign. She felt awkward for that's what she really feels about Jessica, love.

Two months has passed, it was the last quarter of the school year. Tae Yeon still sat in front of Jessica. As usual, Jessica would use Tae Yeon's arm as er pillow. Tae Yeon's heart keeps beating fast. She was blushing.

On their way to their next class, Jessica holds Tae Yeon's hands and lays her head on Tae Yeon's shoulder.

"You're still not done sleeping?" Tae Yeon asks Jessica.

"I feel comfortable when I lay my head on you..."

"But I'm not a pillow!"

"Ah, Tae Yeon, you're just so soft..."

At the last day of school, students were roaming around as the last hour of the school year to get their yearbook signed. Jessica sees Tae Yeon sitting outside. She sits next to her and lays her head on Tae Yeon's arms, which was on her lap, sideways.

"Ya! Sica-ah! This is no time for sleeping!"

Jessica made no response. Tae Yeon gets her up by pulling her shoulders. Jessica takes Tae Yeon's hand and lays the back of her head on Tae Yeon's lap, making her face Tae Yeon, and then she sleeps.

Your face... You're just so beautiful...

Tae Yeon leans her head and lightly kisses Jessica. Jessica felt something touching her lips. She opens her eyes and sees Tae Yeon's face. Her eyes were closed.

So she's the one who's kissing me...

Jessica closed her eyes again, letting Tae Yeon to freely kiss her. Tae Yeon breaks the kiss and sits up.

Hope no one saw that...

Jessica felt that Tae Yeon's lips has parted from hers. She sits up, looking at Tae Yeon straight in the eye. She touches Tae Yeon's arms.

So soft as usual...

Jessica kisses Tae Yeon. After a few minutes, Jessica pushes Tae Yeon down to the ground, still kissing. Tae Yeon's arms were open wide. Jessica breaks the kiss and lays her head on one of Tae Yeon's arms and grabs the other one to her waist, making Tae Yeon hug her. Jessica puts her head down, closer to Tae Yeon's chest.

Tae Yeon... you and your soft arms... you're my pillow forever...

Goodbye Letter

Tae Yeon wakes up and goes to the kitchen.

Jessica was awakened from the movement of the bed. Taengoo woke up early today... is she hungry or something? Ah... maybe she is...

Tae Yeon goes to the bathroom and gets her stuff from the bedroom.

What is Taengoo doing?! It's so noisy I can't sleep.

Oops... I'm probably waking her up. Hurry up Taeng! Tae Yeon quietly grabs all of her stuff and brings it to the kitchen.

Huh? The room suddenly felt empty... I wonder what's up with Taeng... Ah I' really sleepy... She's probably cleaning up I guess...

Tae Yeon put all her stuff on her luggage. After that, she grabbed a piece of paper and a pen and wrote a letter. She folds it twice and leaves it on top of the table. I guess this is goodbye?

After 20 minutes, Jessica wakes up. Hmm... all of her stuff are gone. She opened Tae Yeon's drawer and found nothing. Tae Yeon-ah! She went to the kitchen quickly and found a letter. Huh? A letter? She opens it and reads it.

Sica-ah...

By this time you're probably reading this letter.

I'd like to say thanks for everything...

For being my best friend. For being there for me. And lots more.

Ah... we've been friends for a long time huh? Since... 4th grade?

As time passed I begin to realize something.

I began to learn the meaning of love.

Jessica dropped the letter and called Jae Joong. "Hello? Hey Joong I need help. Tae Yeon went away! I need to find her!"

"Oh okay. Wait in front of your house. I'll pick you up."

Jessica grabbed her coat and went outside of her house. When Jae Joong arrived, she quickly went inside the car. "Let's go to the bus stops. She's probably there."

Jae Joong drives to every bus stop around the area. "Do you know why she went away?" Jae Joong asked.

"She was... jealous..."

I began to learn it from you.

I learned that love is a very nice feeling.

You're always happy when you're around the person you love.

But love has its bad sides too...

It begins with jealousy...

Have you ever felt jealous before?

I guess not... I haven't seen you get jealous over the years we had together.

You were always happy. You were never sad.

You never got jealous to the people who were around your crushes.

"So? Let them be. If we're not meant to be together, then I guess I'll just have to leave them alone."

That motivated me to do this. To leave you.

"Jealous? Jealous from us right? Well I guess your plan worked."

I'm so jealous and I can't help it.

I'm jealous at Jae Joong.

Why?

Because he has the love of my life with him.

"I guess... Half of it worked." Jessica said softly.

"What do you mean?" Jae Joong looked at Jessica.

"Well... Yeah, my plan was to get her jealous. Jealous enough that she will tell me that she likes me."

"She didn't say she likes you yet?"

"No. She did. She left a letter and she told me that she likes me..."

Who is he together with?

It's you.

Now you get the clue.

"Well... we've looked every bus stops around here... let's check the hotels and apartments to see if she checked in."

"No silly! Let's check the train station or the airport. We could check the hotels and apartments later."

Jae Joong drives Jessica to the train station.

Jessica gets off the car and runs inside the train station. She sees a familiar figure and one person came quickly on her mind. Tae Yeon? She grabs the person's shoulders, pulling it to the other side, making the person face her.

The person was dumbfounded.

"Oh I'm sorry. I thought you're the person I was looking for..." Jessica bows to the person and quickly goes back to the car. "She's not here. Let's go to the airport. Hurry!"

"Okay okay!" Jae Joong started the car and drove to the airport.

Jessica got off and peeked inside the car window. "Thanks for everything oppa." She told Jae Joong, smiled at him, and went inside the airport.

Yes Jessica, Sica, Soo Yeon Jung.

I love you.

I'm only saying this now because I'm afraid of the consequences.

If I told you, you might not talk to me anymore.

Tae Yeon-ah... Jessica looks around the airport.

Well anyways... I'm still happy for the both of you.

I'll always be supportive.

When you need me, just give me a call.

Please don't look for me, if you plan to.

Just remember that I'm always here for you.

To end this goodbye letter...

(It's pretty sad making one and I suck at it.)

I would just like to tell you...

Well I guess this is goodbye... Tae Yeon looks around her. Goodbye South Korea... Goodbye Jess---

"Tae Yeon-ah!" Jessica shouted from a distance and ran to Tae Yeon. She gives her a tight hug and starts to cry.

Tae Yeon grabs Jessica's shoulders and pushes her a bit, exposing her face. She wipes off the tears from her eyes. "Why are you here? How did you know I'm here. And didn't I tell you not to look for me?"

"Pabo! I looked everywhere for you! And I will keep on looking for you until I find you!" Jessica shouts at Tae Yeon and give her a quick kiss.

"You read the letter right? Oh gosh this is embarrassing... She knows my feelings now. But what about Jae Joong? Aren't you going out with him? Sica... just let me go... I don't want to be jealous for the rest of my life... I can't take it..."

Jessica kisses Tae Yeon again. "Oh come on! How many times should I kiss you before you get the idea that I like you?!"

Tae Yeon's eyes grew. She can't believe what Jessica said. "Y-You like me?"

Jessica nods.

"Wow I must be stupid." Tae Yeon laughs weakly.

"So you're not going anymore right?" Jessica makes a puppy face.

Tae Yeon lets out a sigh and smiled at Jessica. "I won't."

"Yay! Now let's go inside the car and go back home!" Jessica held Tae Yeon's hand, leading her to the car.

Tae Yeon opens the car door and surprised to see Jae Joong.

"Oh Tae Yeon, you're probably confused right now but let Jessica explain." Jae Joong told Tae Yeon.

As Jae Joong drive Jessica and Tae Yeon back to their house, Jessica explains. "Well my point is to make you jelous. We pretended that we're going out to make you jealous. And when you're jealous, you'll confess to me that you like me. Well that was the plan... But I never thought you would leave. And that was pretty mean of me to do that. I'm sorry Taengoo."

"I'm sorry too Tae Yeon. I only did that because Jessica told me that she will introduce me to Tiffany. But she never did ugh!" Jae Joong added in.

"Ya! Just focus on your driving and stop butting in people's conversation! Since the mission is done, but failed, I'll introduce you to Tiffany. But not until tomorrow."

"Aw... okay." Jae Joong goes back focusing on driving.

Jessica yawns and lays her head on Tae Yeon's shoulder. "Ah... I'm so sleepy and so tired... I woke up early and found out that you went away. And I'm so tired from looking for you..." Jessica tells Tae Yeon and sleeps.

Tae Yeon takes a peek at Jessica's face and lays her head on top of Jessica's head. I can't believe that that was all a trick. That's pretty cute of you Sica... And then, Tae Yeon sleeps.

That even though you're with someone else,

I won't stop loving you.

I will love you forever Jessica Jung.
