ADVANTAGES

 Where do you prefer to live? It’s a exciting question.Some people like life in a big city, another like in small town. Certainly, they always have their logical reasons. In my opinion, I prefer to live in a city because I think that, life in a city is always more exciting and more comfortable than life in a country or in a small town. Life in a city has a lot of advantages. So I would like to live in a big city.

Fistly, City is an important centre of culture. About education, if you live in city, you will have a great selection of schools, colleges, universities and vocational training centers, languages centre. They are convenient for your study. Morever, city is centre of information. In city, you can use variety of media, you can buy newspapers, magazines (The Youth, The Women, The Saigon Times...), which always supplies you  a great deal of informations, the latest, up-to-date news. In addition, city has a lot of places of entertainment: parks, zoos, clubs cinemas,  galeries, theaters or restaurants…,  where people can spend their free time to relax. There is always something interesting. In the cities, there are a lot of good shops where we can do the shopping easily and quickly. Moreover there are many sports facilities such as swimming pools, gym halls or tennis courts where people can practice their favourite sports.

Secondly, City is a place, which has many companies, service centres, shops, markets, supermarket, hotels, hospitals… You can get what you want. In the cities, there are a lot of good shops where we can do the shopping easily and quickly. If you want to eat some Thai food you can go to  a Thai restaurant but if you live in a small town, it is not easy to get them. If you need somethings, you can buy them in a lot of supermarkets…Small town has supermarket but it’s not comfortable.  So city has better  conditions for your life.

And  thirdly, city is a centre of trade . If you live in city, you will have a lot of chances of your life.Young people in cities are in better situation than young people in village or in a small town, because young in city can go to clubs, can use computer, internet, can learn lots of things. They are very useful for your work in the future. A big city has a lot of companies. So It’ s a good chances for you. You can work there, and can earn lots of money. You will have much more opportunities to promotion.

 It’s the reason why I like life in a big city. Living in city is very exciting, interesting, and comfortable. Do you love this life?

DISADVANTAGES

In my opinion, I prefer to live in a town because I think that, It isn’t easy to live in a big city. It’s very difficult . Life in a town is always more peaceful than life in city. Life in a city has a lot of disadvantages. So I would like to live in small town.

 Fistly,It’s a problem about social. many people from every part of country to city, so the city is crowded. It’s make you feel stuffy . It’s the reason why many trees are cut down to do the place for this buildings.When city is crowded, it’s the reason why city has much more social evils than small town: drug addiction, prostitution,  robberies, burglars happen very often. So is our life in a big city safeful?

Secondly, traffic problems haven’t been solved. There are many accidents everyday because the streets and roads are narrow, in bad condition, dangerous to travel along. During rusk hour, if you drive car, motorbike or bicycle, you will get traffic jam. Can yours children feel safely if they go out? These problem make our feel stress, sick, headache…

And  thirdly, a big problem is polution. The streets are very noisy, dusty, full of smoke. Fumes emit into the atmosphere,  polutte the air. There isn’t lots of tree in the city, so the air is more and more polluted. Nowadays, more and more people have tuberculosis of the lungs ( bi benh lao phoi). Is our health good?

And fourthly, about the human, when city develops, people are so busy with their work. Everywhere in city becomes faster, stuffier. They don’t have much time to look after their family. So in the city, number of divorce is higher than in the small town. These problems influence so much on young people.

 It’s the reason why I don’t like life in a big city. Living in city make me feel stuffy and stress. Nowadays, at the weekends, people in the city always go for a picnic in outskirts (ngoai o ) . They want to relax with their family. They want to feel peaceful, to get rid of noise, pollution of the city. Do you still love life in a big city? It’s diffidult enough to live in a big city, isn’t it?

A city is very noisy; yet most people like to live in it. Many interesting things and places for entertainment can be found.

There are many people and a variety of vehicles in streets. Cars, buses and other vehicles can be seen running to and fro in the streets throughout the day. All these make a city very noisy and busy. Accidents occur now and then. Some people die as a result.

There are a lot of schools and hospitals in a city; therefore, people who live in it know that it is very easy to find a school for their children and to visit the hospital so quickly when necessary.

At night a city is full of colorful lights. They make the city a nice place. Some parts of the city, especially where the cinemas and music shows are, are very crowded.

Many people also attend school at night to improve themselves. Today there are evening classes in almost every city.

For all these reasons, living in a city is very exciting. I like living in it. Một thành phố là rất ồn ào, nhưng hầu hết mọi người thích sống trong đó. Nhiều điều thú vị và những nơi vui chơi giải trí có thể được tìm thấy.

Có nhiều người và nhiều xe trong đường phố. Ô tô, xe buýt và các xe khác có thể được nhìn thấy chạy đến và qua lại trên các đường phố trong ngày. Tất cả những làm cho một thành phố rất ồn ào và bận rộn. Tai nạn xảy ra ngay bây giờ và sau đó. Một số người chết là một kết quả.

Có rất nhiều trường học và bệnh viện ở thành phố, do vậy, những người sống trong nó biết rằng nó là rất dễ dàng tìm thấy một trường học cho con cái của họ và đến thăm các bệnh viện một cách nhanh chóng khi cần thiết.

Vào ban đêm là một thành phố đầy đèn nhiều màu sắc. Họ làm cho thành phố một nơi tốt đẹp. Một số phần của thành phố, đặc biệt là nơi mà các rạp chiếu phim và chương trình âm nhạc được, có rất đông khách.

Nhiều người cũng đi học vào ban đêm để cải thiện bản thân. Ngày nay, có lớp học buổi tối trong thành phố hầu như tất cả.

Đối với tất cả những lý do này, sống trong một thành phố rất sôi động. Tôi thích sống trong đó. Advantages and disadvantages of living in a big city.

As we know, living in a big city is supplied move facilities than anywhere esle. However, there are advantages and disadvantages of living in a big city.

First, I think living in a big city dwellers are provided a lot of society services, such as health care, education, good job and they have much chance to contac or work with foreigners, residents can easily travel fast, thanks to good infrastructure. In addtion that, social services help life be easy and comfortable.

On the other hand, people living in a big city have to suffer from many disadvantages : smoke rising from factories and all kinds of vehicle on the streets makes environment polluted and influence people's health. The noise all day and night makes their minds tense. Traffic jams happen every day.

Như chúng ta biết, sống trong một thành phố lớn được cung cấp phương tiện di chuyển tốt hơn so với bất cứ nơi nào khác. Tuy nhiên, có thuận lợi và khó khăn khi sinh sống tại một thành phố lớn.

Trước tiên, tôi nghĩ rằng cư dân sống trong một thành phố lớn được cung cấp rất nhiều dịch vụ xã hội, chẳng hạn như chăm sóc sức khỏe, giáo dục, công việc tốt và họ có nhiều cơ hội để liên lạc hoặc làm việc với người nước ngoài, các cư dân có thể dễ dàng đi du lịch nhanh chóng, nhờ vào cơ sở hạ tầng tốt. Bên cạnh đó, dịch vụ xã hội giúp cuộc sống dễ dàng và thoải mái.

Mặt khác, người dân sống ở thành phố lớn phải gánh chịu nhiều bất lợi : khói tăng từ các nhà máy và các loại xe trên các đường phố làm cho môi trường ô nhiễm và ảnh hưởng tới sức khỏe con người. Tiếng ồn cả ngày và đêm làm cho tâm trí của họ căng thẳng. Ùn tắc giao thông xảy ra hàng ngày. Your favourite entertainment in your free time.

I studies during this week, and I have only sunday of. I go to the school every morning. Sometime I was work even on sunday. And I am attending an evening class improve my english. I am very busy with my study. When I have free time, I read book, newspaper, magazine, listen to music. There are many kinds of music avaliable on tapes including everything : rock, pop, dance ...

Sometime I go to shopping with my friends and my relative. We often go to the supermaket example : Big C, Vincom, Metro ...

Sometime I go to the zoo, park... but my favourite entertaiment is collection stamp. I collection stamp when I 15 year old. Now I have 500 in collection stamp : bird, tree, person…

Tôi bận học suốt trong tuần, và tôi chỉ có một ngày nghỉ chủ nhật. Tôi đi đến trường mỗi buổi sáng, đôi khi tôi phải làm việc ngay cả ngày chủ nhật. Và tôi tham dự một lớp học buổi tối cải thiện tiếng anh cho bản thân. Tôi rất bận rộn với việc học tập. Khi tôi có thời gian rảnh, tôi đọc sách, tạp chí, nghe nhạc. Có nhiều loại âm nhạc có sẵn trên băng như: rock, pop, dance...

Đôi khi, tôi đi mua sắm với bạn bè và người thân. Chúng tôi thường xuyên đi đến các siêu thị như : Big C, Vincom, Metro...

Đôi khi tôi đi đến vườn thú, công viên... nhưng giải trí yêu thích của tôi là sưu tập tem. Tôi sưu tập tem khi tôi 15 tuổi.Bây giờ tôi có 500 con tem bộ sưu tập: chim, cây, người… My hobbies

Almost everybody has some kind of hobby. My hobbies are listening to music and watching television.

I am very fond of music. When I am free, I often listen to my favorite songs from an old cassette recorder. At weekends, I usually go to music shops in the downtown areas to buy good CDs. Of the famous pop singers, I prefer Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Madona and Paul MC Cartney.

I also spend an hour after dinner watching news and documentary programmes. I particularly enjoy the program "The World Here and There" because it broadens my knowledge of nature and human civilizations.

I think that my hobbies are very useful. They widen my knowledge, relax my mind, and make me feel better about myself. Sở thích của tôi

Vào cuối tuần, tôi thường đi đến các cửa hàng âm nhạc ở khu vực trung tâm thành phố để mua đĩa CD tốt. Television As a senior high school student, I am very busy with my studies. Although I am very fond of watching television, I can only spend an hour after dinner on my hobby. Of all the TV programs, I like the news and documentaries best.

The news programs shown on all TV channels at 7:00 p.m. help me to know almost everything about different places in our country and important events happening all over the world. Through these programs, I can also know about the main national and international sporting events.

The documentary programs at weekends are my favorites. By watching them, I can learn a great deal about human civilizations, the wonders of nature and the amazing inventions and discoveries of great people in the world.

Watching television is my hobby. I cannot imagine a day in my life without watching it. Là một học sinh trung học phổ thông, tôi rất bận rộn với những nghiên cứu của tôi. Mặc dù tôi rất thích xem truyền hình, tôi chỉ có thể chi tiêu một giờ sau bữa ăn tối vào sở thích của tôi. Trong tất cả các chương trình truyền hình, tôi thích những tin tức và tài liệu tốt nhất.

Các chương trình tin tức hiển thị trên tất cả các kênh truyền hình tại 7:00 pm giúp tôi để biết gần như tất cả mọi thứ về những nơi khác nhau ở nước ta và các sự kiện quan trọng xảy ra trên toàn thế giới. Thông qua các chương trình này, tôi cũng có thể biết về các sự kiện thể thao quốc gia và quốc tế chính.

Các chương trình tài liệu vào cuối tuần được yêu thích của tôi. Bằng cách quan sát họ, tôi có thể học hỏi rất nhiều về nền văn minh của con người, sự kỳ vĩ của thiên nhiên và những phát minh tuyệt vời và những khám phá của người lớn trên thế giới.

Xem truyền hình là sở thích của tôi. Tôi không thể tưởng tượng một ngày trong cuộc sống của tôi mà không xem.
