"You did tell her that it's not as simple as Control-Alt-Delete, right?" My brother says, handing me the cup of water I had asked for. "There's more to it than that." He put the beer he had to his lips. I was contemplating whether or not I should tell him.

"She knows that you did it to your own record." I say without slowing down.

He spat out the alcohol in his mouth. "She what?"

I nod, slightly defeated.

"How the hell does she know that?"

"How should I know?! I haven't told anyone."

He sighed, running his hand through his brown hair. "Well, it's not like she can get any proof of it if she wanted to tell the damn cops."

"I would still tread lightly. She's a hacker. She could make her own proof for all God's sake."

He nodded, setting the bottle down and flopping back on the bed. "Well I'll be damned if we win tomorrow and Talon decides to use that as leeway for losing."

"They're sore losers. Majority of the press would think they're making things up if they said something within a week after the game. I'm sure you'll be fine."

The door to the hotel room opened and Correia came walking in, lugging some of the spare equipment over his shoulder.

"Hey, what's the word on supper?" Jesse asks, messing with the bottom of his tattered shirt.

"Coach said to meet in the lobby in about 10 minutes." Lúcio says, dropping the bag in the back corner of the closet.

I nod and pat Jesse's stomach. "Change your shirt. You still have to look good off the ice."

He gave a fake whine. "Do I have to?"

I smirk. "Yes you have to."

He gave me a pout before getting up and going to his suitcase for a clean shirt. Lúcio took some clothes into the bathroom and came out in a green tank top and jeans. Apparently he doesn't care that it's literally 40 degrees outside and they're calling for 2 feet of snow tonight.

That boy worries me sometimes.

I went down to the lobby to get there before the rest of the boys did; I saw Coach speaking to a woman about my height with a purple, Chinese kind of outfit on and silver framed glasses.

I went up to them, Coach surprisingly had a never fading smile. "Oh! Ashleigh, meet your new assistant medical agent."

She turned to me with a smile. "Hāi!¹ I'm Mei-Ling. You can call me Mei."

She held out her hand and I shook it. "Ashleigh. Welcome to the team."

She held her smile as she pushed her glasses up.

"Mei here just graduated a few months ago." Coach says, wrapping his arms around his clipboard.

"Oh, really? Where from?"

"The Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine out if The University of Hong Kong."

I nod. "That's a very high end school."

"I don't like to brag." Her cheeks turned slightly pink.

"That's alright. I think it's great to say that you graduated from there. It's almost impossible to get in."

She nodded at my words.

Pretty soon the entire team came flooding out of the elevator, laughing and talking away about Gods know what.

I shake my head at the sight of them.

The Coach blew his whistle and they all quieted down, ignoring the numerous amount of looks he was getting from tourists and staff members. "Alright, listen up! Ashleigh and I have discussed our options, and since the game is tomorrow, we are going to Subway."

He got some groans from the team.

I furrowed my brow. "Hey, hey! Trust me, we thought about the request for sushi, but this game is too important for you guys to eat junk food tonight. Hanzo, Genji, maybe they'll have the sakana² you two like so much."

They two brothers nodded, actually agreeing on something for once after a great while.

"Tell you what, we'll get sushi for dinner tomorrow night. Deal?" I saw Mei look at me curiously out of the corner of my eye.

I got some more positive feedback from the proposal.

I nod. "Good. Now that that's settled, Coach, please continue."

He nods. "Now here's the deal. First off, you aren't getting anything that'll make you sick or feel really gross tomorrow morning. We're gonna be up bright and early tomorrow, too. So no food comatose either. Second of all, act like y'all got some sense. Seriously. We're gonna be in public. We clear?"

"Yes, sir." "Yeah, Coach." "Yup."

"Good. Now before we head off, there's someone new you guys need to meet." He motioned to Mei. "This is Mei-Ling Zhou, your new assistant medical agent. She graduated from one of the most highly ranked colleges in China, and we're lucky to have her decide to join our team to start her career."

Mei stepped forward and waved, almost as if she was a little shy.

The boys greeted her in... Their own special way and she gave a small smile. "Hello, everyone. Please feel free to call me Mei."

"Alright, the bus is parked out front, so load up!"

The guys got up and started to file out of the building after us, getting on one at a time. Then we got on, took a role call and we started for the restaurant.

¹ Hāi! - Hi! *Chinese*
² Sakana - Fish *Japanese*
