THEY are all waiting for my answer but I just remained mute. For the past one year and nine months I never seen him, not even his shadow. I readied myself for this, I readied myself in the situation where Natsu finally realize that he wasn't in love for me.

I readied myself but I'm telling you honestly that its still hurt. Because I'm still hoping. One part of me hoping that he will choose to be with me, to us.

"I'll call the waiter to assists you" I say and then bow a little "I hope you can join us in my daughter's birthday celebration. It will really make me happy"

"Lu-chan, who is the father of your child?"

"You keep on ignoring that question, Lucy Heartfilia" Erza said.

"Honey,"Jellal said to her "I think is bad to push her.Especially if she is not yet ready"

"But…"

"Just give her time" Jellal murmur.

Erza pouted her lips to him. Erza gave me an apologetic smile "Just tell us when you are ready, Lucy"

I was about to open my mouth when I heard a familiar voice echoed in the entire place followed by the gasp of my friends "Mama" she was smiling and I feel like I was safe right now.

On my peripheral vision I saw Natsu's eyes looking at my daughter face - his eyes show many emotions that was hard for me to decipher. My daughter look at him and their eyes had met. Another gasped escape from their lips when Nashi staggered in her step and walked towards him but only to stop when my daughter lifted her chubby little  hands.

Natsu open his mouth to say something but my daughter smile to him "Papa"

"Wh-What?" Natsu murmurs. I can't see what emotion was flashing on his face right now.

Nashi chuckle "Papa" Nashi said once again.

I immediately went to my daughter and carried her into my arms. I gave him an apologetic smile "I'm sorry," I pauses "My daughter usually mistaken some guy as her father" I say as I avoided his gaze.

"N-No…I mean…" his eyes are fixed to my daughters face before he looks at me like he was trying to decipher everything "i-it's okay" he murmur almost like a whisper.

I took a deep breathe before I smile towards my friends who's mouth hanged open as they look at me, "Little pumpkin, they're your aunties and uncle" I say while looking to my daughter face who's still looking on his father "Little pumpkin" my daughter's eyes look at me "Say hi to them"

My daughter's lips formed into small 'o' before kissing me in my cheeks which immediately makes me smile. Nashi look at them before waving her small hands and then throw her arms around my neck and buried her face in there.

"Wow, your daughter is looks like you, Lucy" Erza said disbelief is really visible on her face right now.

I open my mouth to say something "Mama I want boobies" my daughter whine before she buried her face on top of my chest.

My face instantly blush and gave them an awkward look "Ermmm… I think" I says - I don't really know what to say right now, "I think I need to feed my daughter"

They're all open their mouth to say something "Boobies" my daughter whine, she was frowning and her cheeks are slightly blush "boobies"

Juvia clear her throat "Go on, Lucy" she pauses "We understand"

"Thank you" I say and with that I immediately went to my office.

I TOOK a deep breath and sat down on the sofa of my office. Immediately, I released my breast - Nashi smile before she started to suck my breast. Her other hand is playing with my fingers as she continue looking at me.

"That was embarrasing, little pumpkin" I say before I chuckle "This is the first time I saw my friends being caught off guard" I chuckle "And it was so funny"

The smile on my lips slowly faded as I looked into my daughter's eyes. I slowly removed the strands of hair that were covering her eye. My daughter stopped sucking milk on my breast and stares at me - as if she knew and understood my feelings.

The gang introduced me to that woman beside Natsu as Yukino. The woman is nice and pretty and I could tell the British accent of hers. I have lots of questions to asks, I wanted to asks him what happened to Nathalie and to that woman. But I couldn't bring myself to approached him just to ask that question.

I'm happy to see him but I wasn't happy about the result because after all those months Natsu didn't chose me. What we really had before is just journey and nothing else.

It's hurt because I love him very much. It's hurt because I realize that he just a greatest lesson I ever had in my life. I love him who I thought will be there thru my ups and down. I thought he is the one for me. This is the most painful thing I've ever done in my life - loving someone who is not meant for me.

And it sucks! Really, really sucks!

"Little pumpkin," I pauses, "Your Mama will make sure that you will be happy" I gently caressef her cheeks "You deserve a life with full of smiles"

That's right, Lucy. Stop hoping that Natsu will chose you. It will never happened. So just focused on your child. Don't let her feel the pain you had experience.

IT'S BEEN three days after the celebration of Nashi's first birthday. And right now, I decided to bring my daughter out, so she can experience having a picnic. I took the blanket from the picnic hamper and spread it over where the grass is the thickest. It was a beautiful day, sun shining brightly, breeze cool and nothing but time to enjoy.

I saw my daughter currently picking some flowers that near to us and I can't help but smile because I can see that she was enjoying this very much.

"Little pumpkin" I call her and she turns her head to look at my face and then smile "Come here"

My daughter stood up before she walked towards me - I borrow the flowers that she was holding and fix it into a flower crown. Her ash mauve eyes wide as she look at my masterpiece "Woah"

"Here," I gently place it above her head "Is the princess tiara"

As soon as I put crowned, my daughter immediately jumped for joy - and despite not being able to stand on the lawn, she managed to run around in the blankets.

"Are you happy?" I ask.

She smiled at me and nodded before she speak and just like before I couldn't understand what she meant. But it feels like she was telling me a story about the crown.

Suddenly I was surprised that my daughter was hit by a man who was holding a bottles of coke. My daughter immediately fell on the ground same goes with the bottles of coke knocked over sprayed all over to Nashi. The guy imediately glare menacingly to my daughter "Damn, brat" he growls.

I immediately approached my daughter and checked if she was hurt, "Are you okay, Little pumpkin?" I ask worriedly.

My daughter nodded to me before I carried her into my arms. I look at the man who's still glaring at my daughter "I'm sorry for the damage that my daughter had cause. I can assure you that my daughter didn't purposely hit you it was an accident. But still, I will pay for the damage" I say calmly even though I wanted to punch this guy face.

How dare this guy glare my daughter?The man glared at me for a moment. However, after given me a once - over, he broke into a toothy grin which is very disgusting, his eyes darken. I mentally roll my eyes and I wanted to kill this guy but still I need to remained calm.

"Are you the mother of this kid, pretty lady?" The man asked me.

Obviously? I wanted to be sarcastic to him but it will surely won't bring us any good. I open my mouth to say something but the man touches my arms so I didn't think and just kick the guy on his leg "How dare you touch me!" I growl.

"You bitch" His hand went up like he was going to slap me so I close my eyes and readied myself from the impact but before his hand touches my skin. Another hand gently pushed me aside and the next thing I heard was a loud scream coming from the man.

I open my eyes and to my surprise I found the man on his knees while a familiar figure towering over him.
