Preeta annoyingly yet happily move outside from office.

Preeta : (happy) thank God.... finally mujhe job mil hi gai.... Yayyy....Mai na Lorraine ko batati hu...

She picked her phone to dial Lorraine's number. She stopped.

Preeta : nahi nahi....aise nahi bataungi, ha use surprise dungi.

She happily headed to go to her apartment.

On contrary....

Karan sat in his car, thinking something and talking to himself.

Karan : agar Mai wo nahi karta, to preeta bilkul bhi Meri office me nahi aa paati. But I don't know, sahi tha ya galat. Sahi hi hoga, after all mere intensions bhi sahi the and Mera kaam bhi. Aur mere paas Preeta bhi aa gai..........

He jerked his thoughts and drove to his home.

On reaching home, he as usual ignored his parents and went in his room, but he noticed their's sad face. Sometimes his behaviour towards them hurt him more, but the incidents always overpowers them.

Karan laid on his bed and closed his eyes.

"Karan beta jaldi Ghar aa Jana dhyaan se, mujhe late ho jaayega aane me.

A small smile appeared on his face.

Simultaneously, he was having tears in his eyes..

Aaj Mera hero apne Papa ke saath ghumne jaayega, Chalo.....

Before his thoughts lead further, he immediately open his eyes. He hurriedly sat on bed.

Karan : no... I can't be weak. Mai past memories me nahi kho sakta, aur Sach to bilkul nahi bhool sakta.

He wiped off his tears.

Karan : (nodding head) I can be strong, mujhe bilkul weak nahi padna hai.

He thought being determined and engrossed himself in work.

PREETA'S ROOM.

She was happily pacing here and there. She felt as if someone is coming. Preeta identified her as Lorraine coming from outside.

Preeta : (slowly) yesss.....aa gai wo. Ab use surprise dungi.

As soon as Lorraine entered in room, she spotted Preeta sitting in bed sadly showing her back.

Lorraine : Preeta what happened.

Preeta turned and immediately hugged her.

Preeta : (crying) accha hua tu aa gai,..... Mai kabse....Tera intezaar Kar Rahi thi.......

She broke the hug with so gloomy face. Suddenly a big smile came on Lorraine's face.

Lorraine : (shouted) yayyyyyyyyyy.

Preeta wide her eyes and covered Lorraine's mouth.

Preeta : (annoyingly) Kya hai, chup Kar. Aise pagalo ki tarah Kyu chilla Rahi hai. Jungle se aa gai Kya chutkar

Lorraine : (happily) ise pagalpanti nahi, khushi kehte hai Khushi.

Preeta : kis baat ki Khushi.

Lorraine : tujhe job mil gai is baat ki Khushi.

She hugged Preeta immediately.

Lorraine : finally....I am so happy.. thank God for this. Many many congratulations...

They broke the hug.

Preeta : (annoyingly) ha thik hai.. thik hai.

Lorraine : Kya hua, aise stupid face Kyu bana Rahi hai.

Preeta : (angrily) accha, Mai aise face Kyu bana Rahi hi. Itna accha plan banai thi, tujhe ullu banaungi. Tujhe tense karungi. Tujhe to har baat samajh me aa jaati hai. (Huffed)

Slowly slowly... Lorraine burst out laughing. Preeta annoyingly see her.

Preeta : has le....has le....

Lorraine : (laughing) ohh god...you become....fool....hahahaha..

Preeta : (irritatingly) hat....nikal yaha se.....bhak....

She left from their being exasperating. While Lorraine was still laughing.

Lorraine : mental she is.... totally. But thank God heartly for listening my prayer.

Deep inside both were so happy.

The while day passed with happiness and excitement of Preeta and busy and excitement of karan's too. He was also aware of his excitement's reason (😉)

NEXT DAY....

The sun rised with a new hope in many hearts and with much work too.

Preeta got up, she got ready fast and went for office.

Karan also got up, he too got ready and went for office.

Both were indeed punctual to reach the same.

Unknown to both's knowledge, Preeta and Karan reached in front of gate at same timing but as usual unaware of each other's presence.

Karan was keeping his phone in his pocket and Preeta was arranging her purse and......

Preeta : aahhhh....

Preeta was standing up straight, while she was about to fall, but Karan held her.

She stands now properly.

Preeta : thanks...

Karan : my pleasure..

She look down, and tucked her hair behind ears, and moved ahead in office. While Karan smiles lightly. And he also went in his cabin.

Karan : (reaching in his cabin) samay... Tum jaao aur jaakar preeta ko use cabin ke baare me, uske works ke baare aur saari details use samjhado. Thik hai.

Samay : (employee) ok sir...

Samay move out, and explained Preeta all her works, her place, almost everyone's details etc...etc...

After sometime..

Samay : (in karan's cabin) sir may I come in ?

Karan : yes.

Samay : sir Maine Preeta ko sab explain Kar Diya, and she started her works.

Karan : ok fine, and you give me the files which I told you to complete in morning.

Samay : ok sir ..

He moves out again.

After couple of minutes, Karan thought to take a round in office.

He went out. He was desperately searching Preeta's cabin at last he found.

Karan made so irritating face, preeta's cabin was 6 rooms away from karan's. In short, she was far from him. He got furious.

Karan : (suddenly shouts) samay...

....And the small bundle of file fall from preeta's hand being jerked.
She being scared look karan standing outside her cabin.

Preeta : hey bhagwaan.... Aisa jaanwaron jaisa kaun chillata hai, kabhi Mujhe bhooto se bhi itna dar nahi laga...huhhhh

Outside, samay hurriedly came from somewhere being scared.

Samay : (scared) sir....Maine aapko bulaaya na.....aap aa Gaye..

Karan : what ?

Samay : sorry sorry sir...Mera Matlab hai, aapko Maine bulaaya na, aap aa gaye....

Karan : (angrily) what the hell you are talking Samar.

He made a cry baby face..

Karan : Preeta ka cabin yaha se abhi ke abhi shift karo, cabin no. 11 me.

Karan : (greeting his teeth) samay do what I said, instead of questioning me. Got that.

Samay : (scared) ok sir..

Preeta witnessed it all.

Preeta : (irritated) what the hell. Abhi mujhe fir se sab set karna hoga. Oh god, kahi Mai badi musibat me to nahi pad gai... Huhhhh....
