Karan broke the hug, preeta was smiling. He gazed her intensely. Preeta felt it.

Preeta : kya hua ??

Karan : (smiles) kuch nahi...

He tucked her hair strand behind her ears.

Karan : wo kya hai na, aaj mera khaana hi digest nahi hua kyunki na (smirks)... ek kareli ne aaj mujhse jhagda hi nahi ki thi...

Preeta's smiling face turned into angry one.

Preeta : (angrily) haww karelez tum na kabhi sudhro mat, bohot bure ho tum... (Karan started laughing) ughh ab has bhi rahe ho, tum na haste raho yaha mai jaa rahi hu...

She angrily turned to stood, but karan held her hand and made her sit again. She angrily glared her.

Karan : (pull her cheeks laughing) are babydoll, I was just joking... Hahaha..

Preeta : (annoyingly) ughh karan, ye mat kiya karo ha..

Karan : acchaa (suddenly pull her close) to kya kiya karu tum hi bata do...

She wide her eyes. Karan laughed again, she roll her eyes.

Preeta : (sighs) tumhaara kuch nahi ho sakta.

Karan smile and rest his head on her shoulder. Preeta saw him and realized they were still in the same blanket to which karan chuckled.

Preeta : accha karan waise ek baat batao...

Karan : hmm...

Preeta : sab chodo, lekin tum mom dad ke saath aisa behave mat kiya karo, unhe accha nahi lagta, kitna bura lagta hai.

Karan sit straightly.

Preeta : (continued) tumne mujhe us din kaha tha na, ki kuch story hai, kuch baat hai, kuch incident tha... Jo bhi tha, tum uski saza tumhaare parents ko to mat do atleast.

Karan saw her, she too saw him. She was right, they don't deserve being treated this way by karan, but she is only aware of one side of coin. Karan sighed. He didn't said anything.

Preeta : kya hua ? Kuch to bolo naa...

Karan : preeta, I agree with you, but har cheez ke do pehlu hote hai, jisme se tumne ek hi dekha hai, aur is kahani ka dusra pehlu wo hai, jo har chiz ke liye zimmedar hai.

Preeta only listened to him. Karan saw her, he took her hand.

Preeta : (shocked) kyaa ?

He nodded. Preeta felt ultimate shock. His brother, about which he never told her, not only he no one ever did. Her eyes was wide only.

Preeta : (shocked) lekin... Tumne tumne kabhi bataya nahi, aur ye hai kaha ?

Karan : he is dead preeta.

She receives another shock.

Preeta : (shocked) whatt.... kaise magar.

Karan eyes suddenly filled with rage.

Karan : (with rage) Aakash Singhania... Uski wajah se aaj mera bhai mere saath nahi hai, sirf uski wajah se.

Preeta : (surprised) you mean... Aakash, usne... He killed him ?

Karan nodded his head in yes. Preeta remained shock. Tears fell from karan's eyes which made preeta felt bad. She kept her hand in his shoulder.

Preeta : (softly) I am sorryy...

Karan : (wiping tears) it's okk..

Karan wiped his tears and looked at her.

Karan : you know preeta, Di and Bhai were twins. Wo mom dad ke first child the, to unka bohot acche se khayal rakha gaya... Fir mom dad dono ne job join karli, dono fir bohot mehnat karne lage apne baccho ke acche aur secure future ke liye... Us wakt bhi hamari condition was more that average, still they wanted...
Fir uske baad I came in their life, jiski wajah se unhe laga unki responsibilities badh gai hai...
Wo dono aur zyaada time dete apne kaamo ko....

He paused, Preeta saw him, she was listening him carefully...

Actually, mom dad ke paas hamare liye time hi nahi hota tha kabhi, ye baat di aur bhai ko bhi feel hoti thi, lekin utni nahi, kyunki unke childhood ko enough mom dad ka love ad care mila.... To they never mind that much...
Lekin fir, jaise mujhme aur Bhai aur di me bohot age difference tha, to ek limited time ke baad wo dono bhi apne me busy rehne lage, apne school, hig schools, friends, exams, burdens etc... But maine kabhi unhe blame nahi kiya, because they weren't my parents, still...
Still preeta unhone unki place li sab manage kiya, but aakhir...

Karan looked in her eyes.

Karan : fir na mujhe bohot lone feel hone laga, I wanted their time, I wanted some quality time with them... I wanted their love, but they never understood...
Even mai complain karta tha, but mom dad ke paas apne excuse hote the, mai thak gaya tha...
I was so tired, but kisike paas mere liye time nahi tha, Bhai aud Di bohot koshis karte the mujhe akela na feel ho, but unki koshish bas nahi rehti thi... Uske baad di ko koi Mila ....

She fell on floor with crying near him. Aakash was smirking, he aim to shoot asmina also who was crying badly for rishabh.

But, police's silence were heard which cause Aakash to run being scared...

Karan stopped saying, tear fell from preeta's eyes. How could she unaware of his immense pain.

Karan : (tearfully) itna hi nahi preeta, you know... Jab rishabh ki death hui thi to mom dad to aaye bhi nahi the... Wo log apne bete ki death par apni thodi meetings bhi nahi cancel kar sake... (Chuckles sadly) Unhone to investigation ko bhi seriously nahi liya, jiski wajah se aaj aakash dekho khula ghum raha hai, meri behen ko zinda lash banakar, mere Bhai ko maarkar wo ghum raha hai... Aur jab wo apne kaam se free hue to police already case close kar chuki thi...
Mai unhe har chiz ke liye maaf kar sakta tha, but wo reason nahi..
I can never....(sniffs a bit)

Karan was silently crying, preeta wondered how he managed to take up so much things...
He had always face so much, but not from onwards.. She promised herself.

Preeta immediately wrapped her hands around him. He too hug her. She rubbed her hand on her back. Karan's tears stopped, he made his grip tight on her. He was always scared to loose their loved ones, but thought if loosing her is beyond it.

Preeta broke the hug, she wiped the tear drops on his face, and immediately kissed his cheeks which made his eye wide.

Preeta : (tearfully) bajarbattu tum na, aise baccho jaise rote hue bilkul acche nahi lagte..

Karan : (keeps hand on cheek) ye kya tha...

Preeta kissed his another cheek too which made him more shocked.

Preeta : ye tha...

Karan's face turned into smirking one.

Karan : acchaa....

He pulled her close, he was about to kiss her, but she freed herself and ran from there giggling. Karan smiles, and ran his hand into his hairs...

Karan : (smiling) ye sachme bilkul nahi sudhregi...

Preeta too smiled remembering it.
