I just sat where they had left me, the popular kids. They always do this, and I was used to it by now.

They push me on the ground, laughing, apologize, then turn around and laugh with their friends. It was humiliating, every single time it happened.

My best friend Paige Hyland would always have to help me up, since all the boys are busy laughing, while the girls are busy packing up.

But today, I saw someone who was not laughing; a boy. He was staring longingly at me, but he was with the popular kids, so I didn't take it seriously.
