When Niki then made a face as if he had bitten into a raw onion when he saw the two close, whispering something about "Lovebirds"  it was finally too much. He couldn't take it anymore.

He gave an uncomfortable squeak and pushed lightly against Sunoo's shoulder.

Sunoo only huffed in response, but decided to focus back on his drama.

Of course, Sunoo being an Omega, and close to his age at that, and Jungwon supposedly being an alpha in the making, led everyone to assume, that, as soon as Jungwon presented, they would be mates.

Jungwon, as Enhypen's leader, and Sunoo as their only Omega, a perfect match. As if it was meant to be.

But somehow, everything about this was unsettling to him.

Like someone asking him to mate Sunghoon or Jake all of a sudden. Just. Weird.

He loved Sunoo, but he didn't love Sunoo. Not in a way they all expected of him.

"Jungwon-ah, pass me the other bag of Chips", Heeseungs voice boomed into the silence, ripping Jungwon out of his thoughts. He didn't intend to say it loudly, but to Jungwon it felt like Heeseungs voice was booming through a set of brand new speakers.

Jungwon was glad to see, that the bag was empty.

It gave him a reason to get up and get a new bag from the kitchen. Get out of the spotlight, he felt he was under.  Every gaze pricked his skin like needles.

So what if he just wasn't what everyone expected?

No, he almost shook his head. That was not a thought of a leader. And therefore it couldn't be a thought of his, Jungwon then decided and instead nodded.

He nodded at Heeseungs request.

"Sure, Hyung. Do we need anything else?" He asked into the round, feeling the need to make himself useful.

"Hyungie, bring me some ice cream, please?" A head of fluffy hair had asked, peaking out from a mountain of blankets.

"Sure, Niki." Jungwon smiled.
He couldn't have said no anyways. Not when their youngest had glittery puppy eyes, staring right into his soul.

And everything was fine. Jungwon convinced himself when the movie night had ended, and they were all lying in their respective beds, snoring. All except for one.

Despite everything being just fine, and trying to shake the feelings telling him otherwise, Jungwon didn't sleep much that night.

Nor the next few to come.

Only about 3 weeks later, at one of their dance practices, where Jungwon once again felt the need to whine or even better hide in one of his Hyung's arms or their pack nest, when he felt the pressure of their upcoming performances weighing down on him, did he finally admit it to himself.

Something was wrong.
Everything felt wrong and itchy and bad.

The comments on his last fancam felt disgustung.

His broad shoulder felt like a curse.

Everything he was meant to be, he felt like he wasn't.

And Jungwon was afraid, he couldn't ignore, nor fix it this time around.
