Years. Three years, we've been here. I've seen nothing of the others since I clawed half of Tbh's face off, and it's worrying me.

Of course I didn't want to attack them then. I had basically lost control of my own mind to my instincts, and just went berserk. I still feel horrible about it to this day.

I'm not even sure if they're still alive.

As for the others that came, who knows. It's been driving me crazy not knowing where the hell they are, and if they're still okay.

And the tasers. I hate them, more than I can say. I have some kind of shock collar thing around my neck now as well, and I've tried getting the stiff contraption off to no avail. I feel like some kind of dog that's misbehaved, and it's the worst.

Ally's been no better. She used to be so friendly, and nice to everybody despite her deadly attributes. Now she's just bitter, and reminds me of Eli.

Although I have been wondering... when did Laff ever become an experiment? The first time I met him, he was just a kid and looked human enough. Maybe it was the cloaking device he's been using this whole time?

But there's still the question as to why Eli would turn his own son into one of us. He hates us. My only guess is that he needed someone else to work with that would follow his commands without needing some kind of memory wipe.

Suddenly, someone opened my containment unit door, snapping me out of my thoughts. It was three guards, accompanied by Eli.

"Come on," Eli said, "It's time for me to show you something, B-1."

Eli shifted his hand enough for me to see the collar remote, and deep down I shivered as I remembered the excruciating pain that came from the shock collar. I just rolled my eyes and walked to the guards, allowing them to accompany me on all sides. They all had guns pointed at me the entire time.

How silly, I thought. I could snap those guns in half before they knew I had moved. But one look at Eli, and all thoughts of escape left my head. No way was I gonna mess with the taser.

I was a bit surprised when we passed the usual entrance door for testing. What are we doing? What could Eli possibly want me to do outside the testing chamber?

Soon we arrived in another room with a window on one side, facing outwards into the testing chamber. When we got there, the guards shoved me forward until I was maybe two inches away from the bulletproof glass. I looked down into the chamber.

And I nearly wanted to cry out in fear.

I was just sitting in my shared unit with Meme when they took me.

Meme was sitting next to me, trying to cheer me up, but after maybe three years of trying to bring my hopes higher he was starting to lose hope himself. I could see why Blaza hated this so much.

Well, I could tell just by the description of it, but living it made it twenty times worse.

A couple of guards came in this morning, and they both grabbed my arms and yanked me to my feet. I had the sudden urge to stab them with the six crab-like legs that extended from my back, but decided against it. I'd still have to go through a bunch more guards if I continued.

The guards brought me down to the testing chamber area. Thats not new - they've taken me down here so much it's basically a second home now. The two threw me inside, closing and locking the door behind me. I got up quickly and looked around, waiting for a robot or something to come at me.

But it wasn't that at all.

A door on the other end opened up, and another experiment was thrown into the testing chamber. He looked... really familiar.

The experiment had a suit and a black top hat with a pink ribbon around it. Two black, scaly bat wings protruded from his back, and his fingertips formed claws. He looked up at me, and I saw that his eyes shone blood red.

A voice came over the speaker above. "Welcome, Subjects H-0N35T and N-4DW3. Please await further instructions."

That name. I didn't recognize it, but the arrangement of the letters and numbers...

I gasped.

It's Nadwe.

Nadwe hissed at me, and started walking forward, but jerked back as he probably got shocked by the collar around his neck. My robotic eye saw the electricity flash around his neck. Nadwe growled, and remained near his door, glaring at me with bloodthirsty eyes.

What was wrong with him? What did they do?

Another voice came over the comms.

"Hello, you two."

I growled as I recognized Eli's voice. I noticed myself doing that more often, and I assume it's just an experiment thing.

"You are here to test your limits," Eli said, "But not against those crappy little dummies I've been using."

I looked up to the control room, but ceased to see Eli there. Interesting.

"If either of you fail," Eli started. He paused for a moment, then chuckled. "Well, let's just say it won't be pretty for the loser. Begin at will."

Nadwe looked at me. I looked at him. I could see the hunger in his eyes, and I wondered if they had fed him in a while. Or what they were feeding him.

"Nadwe," I said, "You remember me, right?"

Nadwe hissed, and stepped forwards, spreading his wings intimidatingly. I extended my crab legs a bit to keep him at bay. No look of recognition crossed his face.

Suddenly, Nadwe just seemed to snap, and started running towards me at full speed.

"Nadwe?!" I shouted. Nadwe rushed forward, and pounced onto me. I was knocked backward, and let out a painful yelp as my head hit the ground. Nadwe bit into my arm with sharp fangs I didn't even know he had, and I wanted to scream. I kicked him off of me, but he landed neatly on his feet not too far away.

I got up and faced Nadwe. "Nadwe, please, it's me!" I exclaimed.

For just a split second, I saw something flash in his eyes. Recognition, I hope? It was only a short moment, but enough for me to (subconsciously) let my guard down.

That was... not a great idea.

Nadwe darted towards me and grabbed a hold of one of my crab legs. I tried to get him away, but he was too fast. Nadwe yanked the leg forwards.

And plunged it straight through my chest.

"No! Nononono!"

That's what I was saying the entire time the two fought. Eli was obviously enjoying this, and I just wanted to claw that smug smile off of his face.

Nadwe darted around Tbh and grabbed one of his crab legs.

I wanted to look away. I knew what was gonna happen. But the guards pushed my head back to the glass.

I was forced to watch in horror as Nadwe stabbed Tbh through his chest with the leg, plunging it all the way through. Tbh gasped suddenly, and I could see him breathing shakily. He weakly turned towards the window I was standing at, seeming to see me.

And gave me one last, weak smile before laying limp on the ground, the crab leg still deep in his chest.

Tears formed in the corners of my eyes. No. This can't happen.

This is all my fault.

Nadwe, who had looked down upon the dead crab man for seemingly long enough, bit into Tbh's limp arm. It looked like he was sucking his blood or something. I wouldn't be surprised, there's a lot of different ways Eli does his experiments. Nadwe's was probably some kind of vampire-bat related thing.

My breathing quickened, both from fear and anger. Why must Eli make so many lives miserable and broken? They say we're here to protect the country, but something tells me there's more to that with Eli. He just wants to make us all suffer.

Eli chuckled. "Let's go. He's seen enough."

A guard pushed me with his gun. I just went with him, my head down. The other two guards walked on either side of me. We got back to my containment unit, and I just walked inside and sat against the wall.

Eli smiled. "Not so tough now, are ya?"

I said nothing. Just stared at the wall.

And as Eli walked away, one thought penetrated my mind.

All of this is my fault.
