Toshiro's POV

When we got to their squad, we saw Kenpachi-taichou looking for Ikkaku and (Y/N) and so they came near him first.

He was about to scold the two but when he noticed me, he grinned and asked, "Hitsugaya-taichou, what brought you here all of a sudden? If you wanna fight then you came at the right place..."

"I'm not here for a fight, Kenpachi-taichou. I just wanna make sure that (Y/N) can go back safely so I joined them all the way here."

His grin faded and his mood changed in an instant. "Well, she's safe now, so you can leave..."

I raised a brow as to what he stated. 'But I just came here!' I sighed in defeat and was about to go but he called for me and said, "Hitsugaya-taichou, can we talk... Alone?"

"Of course."

I left Ikkaku and (Y/N) training with the others as I followed Kenpachi-taichou outside.

We flash-stepped towards the forest.

As we got there, he asked me without even mincing a word, "Of all the girls, why my daughter?"

I was surprised and so I didn't answer quickly. When I have thought of an answer, I then told him. "I don't mean to. It just happen so quickly and all I know now is that I can't go back anymore... I'm so into her. She gave meaning to my life and that's all there is to say, taichou."

"You know the consequences, Hitsugaya-taichou..." He told me. He looked so serious and I haven't seen him this way before.

"I know, Kenpachi-taichou... I know..."

There was a deafening silence before he responded.

"Then, stay away from my daughter! Don't make the same mistake that I have done... You're a captain and this is the right time to act like one!"

I closed my hands into a fists as I exclaimed, "If you can go back, will you stop loving Mizuki? Do you regret loving her? Don't you like having a daughter like (Y/N)? If not, then you better shut up! I'm not giving her up cuz she's my life now, my everything. Don't worry, I won't be a burden to you. I'm here to help! So please... Just... let me love her. let me love your daughter, Kenpachi-taichou and I won't ever disappoint you!!!"

His eyes widen. He stopped for a while before he managed to reply. "...Fine. But There's a lot of girls out there who's willing to give their lives just for you... Are you sure-"

"I am sure."

"Okay then. Keep that promise you won't ever disappoint me! Hitsugaya-taichou, Just one wrong move and we're doomed so I hope you know what you're doing... Let's be careful."

I can't help but to smile as I answer him, "Got it."

"Uhm... Hitsugaya-taichou..." I heard Kenpachi-taichou called for me while we're about to go back.

"What?" I replied.

"Do you love my daughter?" He then asked innocently.

My head heated in annoyance as to what he asked. "THAT'S NOT EVEN A QUESTION!!!"

"SHUT UP! JUST ANSWER ME, IS IT A YES OR NO!?!"

"YES, OF COURSE!!!"

"Oh. Okay..." ^^'

I let out a sigh.

While heading back to the 11th squad, we heard lots of shinigamis crying in pain, some begging. We shunpoed faster and we're surprised by lots of shinigamis lying down in front of us. To be honest, It's just a normal view to this squad but that is only when Kenpachi-taichou is around. "What happened!?!"

We heard Yumichika laughing hilariously while Ikkaku is clapping like a retarded seal. We went near them and asked, "Is this your fault!?! You should've controlled yourself, They're all newbies!"

They didn't reply and continue laughing and clapping. 'Idiots.'

Kenpachi-taichou doesn't seem to mind as he told the wounded shinigamis, "You're all weaklings! That only means you need to train more!"

We snapped as (Y/N) called for us, asking for forgiveness. Our jaws dropped in realization when she told us, "I did all of that, I'm so sorry! I enjoyed the fight so much I forgot we're just training..." After saying those, she giggled like an innocent child.

"I thought 'my princess' is enough to address you... I don't know it should be 'my warrior princess'." I chuckled.

She smiled. The 4th squad representatives came saying they're called by (Y/N) to help the wounded trainees. We nodded.

As they start healing, I heard Kenpachi-taichou mutter, "That's my daughter."
