Gray had some mixed feelings about this trip. He also knew it wasn't Natsu's fault, so he didn't blame him.

Gray had thought he had seen his father die back in his childhood when Deliorah attacked. So, of course, he was skeptical of the fact that his father was miraculously alive. Gray knew deep down he had a sliver of hope, a hope that someone he had someone in his family alive.

Gray frowned, he realized that Natsu never really talked about family besides Igneel. Of course, he's not a dragon, so Igneel wouldn't be his biological father, Right?  He had just sorta assumed he didn't remember his parents.

Gray had stuffed some stuff in a duffle bag, some toiletries such as toothpaste and a toothbrush. Some clothes, he didn't have many since he lost about half his wardrobe. He added some other stuff like a phone charger and headphones.

He pulled out his cell phone and dialed Natsu's number. He asked about whether they were leaving tomorrow or later today, even though it was getting kinda late.

Once Natsu responded, Gray made a decision, he grabbed his duffle bag. Gray decided to go to Natsu's house.

He wondered if it would be rude, but it's not like he hasn't done it before.

Gray went through his door and closed it behind him. He stuck his hands into his pockets and dug around a bit until he found his key chain. He fiddled with it until he found the right key and shoved it into the keyhole. He struggled to lock it, due to his crappy lock. The apartment building he lived in was pure crap.  He was used to it already.

He took a cab to Natsu's house, it was a little bit of a ways from Gray's house. It would take him at least an hour to walk there.

Gray thanked and paid the cabby, before grabbing his duffle bag and walking to Natsu's door.  Gray didn't hear much, and it filled him with doubt. Normally, Natsu would be listening to Marina and the diamonds and dancing or singing musicals.  Gray hesitantly knocked and darted his eyes around.

Natsu opened the door, a little surprised to see him.

"Gray?" Natsu raised his eyebrows.

"Um, surprise?" Gray looked sheepish, "Can we hang out or something?"

Natsu nodded and pulled him in, "Do you wanna just sleepover?"

Gray nodded.

Natsu smiled at him, before sitting on the couch, "I didn't tell Wendy or Gajeel that it took a lot of magic energy to make those potions, so now I'm kind of tired."

"Oh," Gray sat next to him.

"Do you like butterscotch-cinnamon pies?" Natsu asked looking at him.

"Never had it," Gray shrugged.

Natsu got up and walked into the kitchen humming a song, Gray didn't know it but it sounded cool. Natsu crouched down and brought a pie out of the fridge and brought it back into the living room with two forks.

"Help yourself," Natsu handed Gray a fork and placed the pie on the table.

Gray took a bite, the pie was sweet and creamy. Gray wouldn't have put butterscotch and cinnamon together but it was good.

Natsu had a few bites, then leaned on Gray with his eyes with his eyes closed. Gray looked at him. He rubbed the pink-haired wizard's hair, it was soft.

"Urghm, Oh sorry," Natsu sat up groaning rubbing his eyes.

"It's alright," Gray flicked his nose playfully.

Natsu wrinkled his nose, his face getting red.

"You can watch whatever you want," Natsu handed him the tv remote.

A few hours later, Natsu and Gray had finished the pie and decided that it was time they go to sleep.  Natsu had no clean sheets to give Gray since they were all in the wash, so Natsu and Gray simply shared a bed.

It was a little embarrassing for Natsu since he had a habit of hugging things in his sleep. Natsu did end up hugging Gray in his sleep.

The next morning Gray and Natsu got their stuff together and had some muffins for breakfast they were off.
