Blaza had started hanging out with Tommy a lot since Laff had been ejected.
Tommy and Socks were the only people he really trusted, and he had a feeling that wouldn't change anytime soon.
Woolf had gotten Laff ejected in the first place.
Bruh and Tbh were both hiding something.
Nadwe was way too quiet.
Oof always stuttered and never knew what he was doing.
Blaza had no idea who it was. It didn't help that he couldn't remember anything before waking up in medbay.
He yawned and headed outside his room.
"Oh hey Blaza!" Tommy waved as he stepped out. "Hey Tommy." Blaza responded. "Socks just finished handing out the task lists. He told me to bring you yours." Tommy said, handing Blaza a slip of paper.
Socks had kind of become the forcefully elected leader of the ship since Laff had been ejected. He was the most leader-like, since everyone else was either injured, sus, or a child.
"Thanks!" Blaza nodded to Tommy as he read down the list. He was beyond glad that Socks never gave him card swipe, since he knew he didn't have a card. It made his life about a million times easier.
Tommy skipped off while Blaza went toward navigation.
It only took a few minutes to get there and start his download. He sat where he was, knowing it would take awhile.
He watched as Woolf entered, seemingly not seeing him. Woolf stepped up to one of the seats, where chart course was. He did the task and turned around.
He jumped as he noticed Blaza.
"Oh, hey Blaza. Y-you scared me a bit." Woolf laughed nervously. "Waiting on download?"
"Yeah." Blaza said, eying Woolf carefully. The furry was the one he trusted the least among the crew.
"Yeah, download Sucks. Why does it take 30 minutes? How much are we downloading anyway?" Woolf joked.
As funny as it was, Blaza didn't let his guard down enough to giggle. Woolf had pretty much killed Laff! How could he be making jokes?
"You ok?" Woolf asked, noticing Blaza was tense. Blaza kept his face stern. "Mhm."
"It's because of Laff, isn't it?" Woolf whispered suddenly.
Blaza looked away.
"Listen, I-I'm sorry about that. I wouldn't have said anything if I didn't think it was him." Woolf said, looking to his feet.
He really seemed to feel guilty, but even so, Blaza wasn't sure if he trusted him. The aliens were good actors, it wouldn't be hard to fake guilt, right?
Blaza wanted to believe him, he really did, but how could he? If aliens had hid among the crew for as long as he'd heard, they would be believable, just like Woolf. No, Blaza couldn't trust him. He couldn't trust anyone but Tommy and Socks. Those were the only people it couldn't be.
Woolf walked off silently. Good. He didn't need to spend another second with that impostor.

(—— POV Switch ——)

"Why don't you just say who the other one is if you want my trust so bad?" Bruh said, doing his best not to yell.
"I-I'm still figuring some stuff out, I'm sorry." Tbh stammered.
"What would you have to figure out?!? You either let the entire crew die or you don't. It shouldn't be that hard of a choice."
"It's way more complicated then that!"
"Complicated how?! It's the most simple decision-"
"What's the most simple decision?"
Oof said, stepping into medbay.
"Uh, nothing." Bruh said nervously. It was tempting to tell on Tbh, but he was the only person who knew the identity of the other Impostor. If he could get Tbh to tell him, he could end the killings right then and there.
At the very least, Tbh didn't seem to be killing people at the time.
"Why are you two constantly mad at each other?" Oof said, for once not stuttering. You knew he was serious when he didn't stutter.
"It's complicated." Tbh blurted before Bruh could say anything. Bruh glared at him. Couldn't he at least have the dignity to let the actual human explain?
"Whatever. Anyway, you should be good to leave medbay now. It's been a whole day and your injuries weren't too bad, at least not bad enough to keep you here. Tbh, you'll still wanna be careful with your shoulder." Oof said, turning and leaving the room.
"Finally." Bruh muttered, sliding out of bed and leaving, not looking back at Tbh.
He made a beeline for his room, just wanting to go to sleep and not have to deal with life anymore.
He was only about halfway there when he heard a sound from the vents.
He turned to see a creature arise from them, the same creature he'd seen harassing Tb. "You're going to kill me, aren't you?" He asked it, knowing there was no one else nearby. Screaming would only make his death come faster.
"I plan attacks carefully. I wouldn't have gone for you if I didn't need you dead." It hissed in the creepiest voice Bruh had ever heard.
"At least show me who you've been morphed as. If I'm going to die, no harm in me knowing right?" He deadpanned.
The creature morphed.
"I should've known." Bruh said, almost chuckling at the fact he hadn't figured it out sooner.
He had been way too quiet. The fact he was never sussed was genuinely stupid.
"Goodbye, knight."
The creature hissed smugly as it stabbed him in the chest.

I'm curious: who do you guys think it is? If anyone guesses right I'd be surprised.
