Blaza yawned, stretching his good arm over his head.
He'd finally been given a cast instead of just bandages, though it wasn't too well done. It was still a lot better then what he had before.
He was thankful the nightmare that was yesterday had finally ended, and finally his arm wasn't in constant pain.
The cast had helped a ton, and for the first time in the time he knew, he didn't feel totally miserable.
He laid there for awhile before hearing footsteps outside the door. Seconds later, Bruh Moment walked in.
"According to Memes notes," he began. "You should be able to try walking now." He finished flatly.
"Really?" Blaza said, somewhat excitedly. He'd finally be able to get out of bed!
He leaned forward, attempting to stand, but instead falling over.
"Ow." He muttered, sitting back up. Bruh rolled his eyes and walked over. "Need help?" He offered.
"Y-yeah, thanks." Blaza said, stunned he was willing to help.
Bruh held out his hand, and Blaza gripped it tightly with his good hand.
He slipped out of the bed, his feet touching the floor for the first time he could remember. He stood shakily, struggling to stay upright.
He stepped forward, concentrating the hardest he could remember concentrating.
After what felt like ages, he took a step. Then another. After a few minutes, he was walking! For once, he wouldn't be completely helpless!
And then it hit him. He was no longer helpless. Everyone thought he was a murderer when he was laying miserably in bed, what would they think when he was walking around, and even more capable of... whatever it was they thought he'd do?
No matter what anyone would think, he didn't want to go back to being helpless. Walking around felt better then laying down pathetically.
He laughed a little as he watched his feet move for the first time in... he didn't really know how long, but he was on his feet now, and he'd never been more proud of himself.
"Aight, you should be good now, so, imma go." Bruh said awkwardly, stepping out of the room.
Blaza followed, still having one more question. "Wait, what about my arm?"
Bruh stopped and sighed.
"If Memes notes are right... you're arm is messed up really bad. It's not gonna work. Like ever." He said.
Blazas face fell. He gave it a second to sink in. He'd never be able to use his arm again.
"Blaza...?" He heard Socks say behind him. "Socks!" He said, whirling around to see him. "I can walk!" He added, sticking his leg out as if to prove his point.
Socks looked at him solemnly. "They'll accuse you more..." he trailed off. "I know." Blaza sighed.
"It's better then staying in bed all day though." Blaza said, hoping to lighten the mood. "Yeah, i bet." Socks said with a forced laugh.
"So, uhm... where do I sleep now? I don't exactly know anything outside of Medbay." Blaza asked. "Oh, yeah, follow me, I'll show you." Socks said, walking off.
Blaza followed, still chuckling at the fact that his feet were moving. "Blaza?" Tommy said, spying him and Socks from a few feet away. "You can walk now?" "Yep!" Blaza announced proudly.
"Good for you!" TBVG said behind him, clapping slowly. "It'll be a lot easier to kill us off now, huh?" He said, giving Blaza the death stare.
"Shut up." Socks said. "It's not Blaza." He added. "Sure," TB said, walking off with Tommy at his heels.
They walked for a few more minutes until they reached a row of rounded doors. "This ones yours." Socks said, stopping at one of the doors.
Blaza pushed it open to see a bed in the far right corner, with a nightstand on the other side. On the walls were several posters of some cartoon character in a bear outfit.
"Who's that?" He asked, pointing to one of the posters. "Oh that's U... Uramu? Umura? I don't know, it's the person on your hoodie." Socks rambled.
For the first time, Blaza realized he was wearing a hoodie. How had he now noticed his own clothing before? He also noticed that the backside of his hoodie was stained red.
Oh. That's what Meme meant.
Blaza thought, remembering how the doctor had trailed off after mentioning a pool of something.
"I'm gonna go and uh, leave you to get reacquainted with your room?" Socks said awkwardly, stepping outside and shutting the door behind him.
The first thing Blaza did was locate the closet, which was hidden in the back wall. He thought it was cool that there was a hidden room, and briefly wondered if the other rooms had these as well.
He changed out of his blood-stained hoodie and into another one after realizing that was all he had. He wasn't sure why he only had one outfit, but it was comfortable, so he wouldn't complain.
His watch buzzed as a hologram appeared out of it, reading simply "Emergency Meeting"
