    Blaza ran as fast as he could, hearing the creature close behind him.
He didn't dare to look back, fearing what he'd see if he did.
He crashed into Muffin, who was dragging a gas can behind him. Gas spilled onto the floor as Blaza and Muffin collapsed.
Blaza scrambled backwards, his head throbbing as he turned around to face the monster pursuing him.
Muffin screamed as Blaza stared the beast directly into its devilish red eyes, determined not to go down without a fight.
The creature towered over him, it's tentacles reaching for him greedily. Another creature slid out from the vents, it's tentacles grabbing Muffin and holding him in the air.
Blaza watched in horror as it stabbed Muffin in the chest, and the 14-year-olds limp form dropped to the floor.
The creature that had been pursuing Blaza grabbed his arm with it's tentacle, using it to slam Blaza against the wall.
Blaza screamed in pain and fell to the floor, staring in shock at his unnaturally twisted arm.
He turned to the creature looming over him, his face streaked with terror as it lifted a large tentacle above his head.
The tentacle slammed Blazas forehead, and the world went dark.
