At the time of the night, a venue was decorated beautifully. People were sitting on the chairs around the table some were standing. Neil was standing with his friends at the side. He was wearing Avni's dress matching suit.

Avni entered the venue with her mother.

All were standing at both sides. The Khanna family and Ashish smiled to see her. KK and Riya were also standing there they smiled to see Avni then they looked at each other. Neil turned his face and his expression were formal he looked down then he looked at Avni. Avni looked at Neil and blushed. Shweta came to Neil and asked him to go and take Avni. Neil looked away and makes a face then he goes to Avni and forwards his hand, Avni gave her hand to him while blushing. Neil intervene his arm in Avni's arm and takes Avni to the stage and all clapped for them. The cameraman captured their pictures.

Neil and Avni were sitting on the couch. Avni looked at Neil who was looking straight. Avni finds Neil lost. Avni looked at her hand and saw the bracelet on her wrist that Neil gifted her. Both families were also sitting there. Avni moves her bracelet.

Neil saw that Avni is moving her bracelet he looked at Avni. Avni also turns her face to him and looked down. Neil thinks.

Shweta: let's start the ceremony?

Nm: yaa, sure.

Shweta: Neil.

She signed him to pick the ring. Neil nods. Avneil exchanged the rings and smiled to see each other.

Later, Avni and Neil were sitting in their rooms and looking at the ring. Avni kissed her ring.

Avni: just one week then I will become Mrs Avni Neil Khanna.

Avni blushes.

Neil: This is not a ring, it is a key to the door of my dream.

Neil smiled.

One week passed, Avni was sitting in front of the dressing table. Riya was setting her lehenga and Neela maa made her wear the chunhri. Avni was looking at herself in the mirror. Neela maa sets her chunhri. Riya gets up, she holds both the upper arms of Avni by standing beside her and leans to her.

Riya: O my, my. Looking so pretty. Tonight, someone is going to get a tough time. Neil will faint today by seeing you.

Avni blushes.

Riya whispered in Avni's ear: today, Neil will lose his control.

Avni blushes hard. Neela maa smiled. She cups Avni's face from behind.

Nm: My baby is looking so gorgeous. God protect you from evil eyes.

Avni smiled. They heard the sound of the band. Avni felt her heartbeat is getting increase.

Riya: I think, they reached.

Riya goes to the window. She saw Neil.

Riya: wow, Avni, Neil is looking so hot. Today, every girl will get jealous of you including me.

Avni and Neela maa smiled.

Nm: I am going to welcome them. Avni, you take a rest for some time.

Avni nods. She gets up and Riya sets her Lehenga. They took Avni to the bed and made her sit.

Neela maa: you take a rest. Riya, come.

Riya nods. They go. Avni thinks she bit her lips and thinks. Avni goes to the window and the procession. It was still on the road. Avni blushes to see Neil.

Neil looked up and Avni hides. She again saw Neil who was looking at the people. Avni smiled.

Neela maa welcomed Neil she pulled Neil's nose and all smiled. Neil took the blessing of Ashish and Neela maa and both families met.

Neil was sitting with the priest in the pavilion. Avni was sitting on the bed holding the picture frame of her Ayesha maa.

Avni: mamma, today, I am going to start a new life and I am very nervous please be with me.

Avni heard the sound of footsteps and she kept the picture frame in the drawer and wipes her eyes. Avni saw her parents and gets emotional. Ashish and Neela maa looked at each other. Ashish wiped his eyes and Neela maa keeps the hand on his arm. They smiled to see each other then they go to Avni who gets up.

Ashish: Neela, when our Avni grew up we did not realise it.

Avni smiled emotionally.

Ashish: I still remember that day when I first time took her in my arms. She was so small and her hands, her hands were so soft and small she was so adorable.

Neela maa smiled with teary eyes. For saying, she is Avni's stepmother but she loves Avni more than her life. If she has to sacrifice her life for Avni she will not think twice.

Ashish: and see today she is standing in front of us in a bridal dress. When did she grow up?

Avni: stop it, papa, you want to make me cry I am already emotional and you.

Her parents smiled.

Nm: right, don't make her cry today. Today is a big day of her life so no crying only smiles.

Ashish nods. He cups Avni's face. Avni gets emotional she hugged Ashish and cries. Neela maa caresses her hair. Avni breaks the hug then she looked at Neela maa who cups her face and tears roll from the eyes of Neela maa. Avni hugs her and Neela maa closed her eyes. She kissed Avni's hair. They break the hug. Neela maa wipes Avni's tears.

Nm: no more tears. If you cry like this then your eyes will get puffy and you will not look good. Do you want to look bad on your wedding day?

Avni shook her head.

Neela said while wiping her tears: then stop crying and be happy today you are going to start a new life so start it with a smile, not tears.

Avni smiled.

Ashish's phone rings he goes to talk and Neela maa did the last touch up of Avni.

Ashish and Neela maa took Avni to the pavilion where Neil saw Avni who was looking down. Neil looked down and sighs. Neela maa makes Avni sit she looked at Neil who was looking down. Avni looked down.

Avneil gets up to exchange the garland. They took the seven rounds then they sat. Neil filled the sindoor in Avni's hairline. Avni closed her eyes and a tear rolled from her eyes. Neil saw that and felt sad. Neil tied the mangalsutra around her neck. They looked at each other. Neil smiled. The priest declared them husband-wife. They took blessing from all.

Prakash: you are going to your home where you will be treated as a daughter, not a daughter-in-law. And if this Neil troubles you then just tell me I will pull his ear.

Neil smiled. Avni too smiled.

Shweta: correct.

All were happy except Neil, he was OK with everything but not excited.

Everyone was standing outside the Mehta house. Avni met her parents. Ashish goes to Prakash.

Ashish: we nurtured Avni like a flower. She is my only daughter if she does any mistakes then, please forgive her.

Prakash holds his hands.

Prakash: I assure you that we are taking our daughter from her. Her happiness is my responsibility don't worry about her.

Neela maa turns to Shweta and joins her hand. Shweta holds her hand and blinks her eyes to assure her. She hugs Neela maa. They did Avni's farewell and Neil was looking at Ashish's man who was holding a file wrapped in the gift wrap. He looked at Avni but he was not interested in the farewell. Neela maa makes Avni sit in the car and holds her chin she kissed her hand. Avni was emotionally looking at her parents. Ashish hugs Neil. Neil goes to the other side of the car and sat. They went from there and the Mehta family was looking at them. KK comes to Neela maa and holds her both arms she holds his hand and keeps her head on his chest. KK is like a son to her.

On the way, Avni was wiping her tears with the tissue and Neil was busy talking on the phone. Avni gets hurt that instead of consoling her he is talking about his project on the phone.

Neil: ok, I will send you the details once I reach home.

Avni looked at him she thinks and looks out from the window with teary eyes and was angry with Neil but she doesn't know that Neil will not get affected by that even he will not notice it. Soon they reached and Neil cuts the call. Shweta helped Avni to get down and they did her welcome. Everyone comes inside.

Neil: mom, I have important work so I am going to the study room and please make sure that no one disturbs me.

By saying this Neil goes. He did not even wait for Shweta's reply who wanted to say something. She was calling him but he goes by saying, later, later mom.

Avni was looking at Neil. She looked down.

Shweta: this boy.

Shweta looked at Avni and smiled fakely. She goes to her and keeps the hand on her chin.

Shweta: don't be sad, he had some work. Once let him come I will tease him a lesson I will pull his ear and beat him with the stick, just see.

Avni smiled then she looked in the direction where Neil goes. Avni thinks.

Shweta: come, let me take you to your room. You must be tired.

Avni smiled slightly.

Shweta takes Avni to the room and Avni looked at the room. She saw that Neil did not make the place for Daisy. Shweta makes Avni sit.

Shweta: you take a rest, I am going to get something for you to eat.

Avni: no mummy Ji, I am fine. I had it at my house.

Shweta smiled and keeps the hand on her chin.

Shweta: now this is your home, hmm.

Avni smiled and nodded. Shweta goes and Avni waits for Neil.

On the other side, Neil was sitting on the chair around the huge table where an incomplete huge model was kept which he was designing to show. Neil was looking at it by placing his leg on the second leg and his elbow was on his knee and was sitting by keeping the hand on his lips. Neil was looking at the model. Neil saw the file which was kept on the table and Neil picked it up. He smiled to see Ashish's signature. Neil was very happy.

On the other side, Avni was waiting for Neil. She was already tired so she rests her back to the head of the bed. Two hours passed but there was no sign of Neil. Avni slept in the sitting position in the bridal dress waiting for Neil. It was their first night and it was ruined completely by Neil.

At the midnight, Avni woke up as her neck was aching. She saw Neil is sleeping beside her which breaks her heart in many pieces. She was facing Neil's back. She looked at Neil with tearful eyes. She wipes her tears and goes to change. She stands in front of the dressing table. She removed her jewellery and she saw the mangalsutra in her neck and holds it she stared herself in the mirror and saw the sindoor in her hairline she touched it. Avni looked at her hand then herself in the mirror.

Avni comes after changing her dress into the nightdress. She saw Neil is sleeping. Avni recalls Riya's word.

Riya: O my, my. Looking so pretty. Tonight, someone is going to get a tough time. Neil will faint today seeing you.

Riya whispered in Avni's ear: today, Neil will lose his control.

Avni looked at Neil with tearful eyes.

Avni squeezed her eyes and shook her head.

Avni: Avni, stop it. Stop thinking negative. Neil must be tired that's why he slept. You also slept then what's wrong if Neil slept and he had not awake you by thinking that you will get hurt and feels guilty so stop judging him. And Neil had told you before the marriage that he is busy with his project. Avni, be positive, you have to become his strength, not weakness.

Avni looked at Neil and smiled she tried to make herself understand the situation but the reality was she was hurt at an extreme level. She goes to Neil and sits in front of him and slowly moves her hair to his head. She caressed his hair and smiled. Avni lays at her side and thinks about Neil's behaviour though she doesn't want to think about it but her mind was stuck there. She had dreamt about their first night that what Neil will say what she will say to Neil. How she will control her heartbeat when just by thinking about that her heartbeat increased but now everything was ruined. Nothing happened as she thought. Avni was in deep thoughts.
