The whole day passed but there was no sign of Neil. Avni even didn't know where is Neil whether he is in the office or went somewhere else. Neither Neil contacted Avni nor he came home the whole night. Avni was worried for him but now she is frightened of asking him anything she doesn't know what Neil can say to her, how he will behave. Neither she has the strength of listening to any more harsh words.

Avni was roaming in her room she looked at her phone which was kept on the bed. Avni goes there and picked up her phone. Avni thinks. She kept the phone again on the bed and thinks.

At the time of the evening, Avni came to the living area and find Bebe and Shweta worried. She sits with Bebe.
Prakash also came home at the same time, Avni saw him she looked for Neil but he did not come. Avni thinks.

Bebe: is everything alright?

Prakash looked at her he looked tired. He came and sat.

Prakash: no but don't worry everything will be fine. It is not a big thing these small things are part of the business. Don't take stress for them.

Bebe smiled. Avni looked at him she knew that it is a big thing but he doesn't want to give any stress to his family. Avni wondered how a father and son can be so different. Neil entered the home in a rush by rubbing his forehead. Neil saw the family.

Neil: Dad, I am going to talk to them. Mom, can you pack my bag?

Avni looked at him.

Prakash: Neil, we talked about it in the office and I think, I cleared you that you don't need to go there.

Neil: Dad, then who will go. It is a sensitive matter we can't trust anyone else.

Prakash: if that is the case then I will go but you not.

Neil: but why dad? Now don't again start that you got married recently you should have spent time with your wife. If I have got married that doesn't mean that I will seat the whole day in my room with my wife.

Avni looked down.

Bebe: Neil, what is this behaviour of talking to your father?

Neil looked down he rubbed his forehead.

Neil: Dad, I am, I am sorry.

Prakash: It's ok, I know you are stressed and exhausted. But I still don't allow you to go.

Neil looked at him he didn't like that.

Shweta: I have an idea.

All looked at Neil.

Shweta: why don't Avni also go with him. They did not go on their honeymoon so Neil will do his work and they will spend time with each other. What say?

Neil looked away and Avni looked down. She looked at Neil and she got another wound on her heart by seeing Neil's expression.

Bebe: that's a great idea.

Prakash: if it is the case then I don't have any problem they can go and stay there as many days as they want.

Bebe and Shweta smiled.

Avni: ab papa Ji, I can't go. I have a phobia of height and planes. I can't travel on planes.

Bebe: Oh ho, now what?

Avni: it's ok, right now, resolving that matter is important, Neil should go there.

Prakash: but you?

Avni: I am at home you all are with me then what's the need to worry.

Prakash looked down.

Neil: now you are satisfied. Can I go?

Prakash: fine if Avni has no problem then you can go.

Avni looked down.

Neil: mom, please pack my bag.

Avni: don't worry, mummy Ji, I will do it.

Neil looked at her. Prakash looked down.

Prakash: don't know why people get married when they have to treat their wives as a showpiece of their room.

Neil and all looked at him. Prakash looked at Neil. He is observing Neil's behaviour towards Avni that he is not giving time to Avni. Prakash got up and goes from there. Neil and Avni were looking at each other. Avni looked at Neil then she looked down.

Later, Avni was packing Neil's bag who was talking on the phone and goes out while talking. Avni looked at Neil. She resumed her work.

Neil was getting ready he was combing his hair. Avni entered the room and Neil saw her. He thinks then he turns to her and goes to her. Avni was looking down. Neil's phone rang, he stopped and goes to get it from the table.

Neil: hello... Yeah, yeah, I am just leaving.

Neil goes to the bed, grabbed his bag and goes while talking. Avni turns and she was looking at him. Her eyes get moist.

Neil was standing with his family outside the Khanna mansion. He took the blessings of his elders and hugged them. Avni was looking at them from the balcony. She can go downstairs but when Neil did not meet her before going then what she will do by just standing with the family as an extra member. Neil took the blessing from Prakash and hugged him.

Neil: I am sorry, Dad.

Prakash: it’s ok.

They break the hug.

Neil: I am really ashamed of my act. Don’t know what had happened to me.

Prakash pets his shoulder.

Prakash: oh chill, we are friends and it is common in friends.

Neil smiled, he again hugged him. Neil looked at his family. He moved to his car and opened the door and he accidentally looked up and saw Avni who smiled and waves her hand just to show the family that she is fine but her heart was wounded. Neil smiled he showed his hand. The family was looking at Avni. Neil got in the car and goes. Avni’s smile faded and her eyes gets moist. She goes back to the room. Avni looked at the room and was upset.

Neil was sitting at the airport and was waiting for the flight. His phone rang and he saw Avni’s number. Neil attends the call.

Neil: Hello.

Avni: hello, you forgot your file at home, I am standing out at the airport, come and get your file.

Neil looked at his handbag and looked in it, Neil pinched his eyes.

Neil: ab, aa, ok, I am coming, where are you standing?

Avni: at the parking area.

Neil: ok, I am coming.

It was the time of the sunset, Neil went there and looked around, Neil saw Avni is standing and the sun is shining on her face and disturbing her. For a while, Neil stopped and stared at Avni who was trying to avoid the sun and holding her scarf and dress which were flying because of the wind. Neil smiled. He came back to reality when someone collides with him. The person apologized and Neil said, it’s ok. Neil looked at Avni and goes to her. Avni looked down to see him, she passed the file. Neil took that and he checked it. He closed the file. Avni didn’t look at Neil

Neil: thank you. But why did you come? You could send it with the driver's hand.

Avni: it is an important document so I thought to give it to you personally.

Neil nods.

Neil: thank you.

Avni: no need for it as a wife, it is my duty to take care of your stuff.

Neil looked at her.

Avni: bye, have a safe journey.

Neil was looking at her. Avni turns and goes to her car. Neil frowns. He finds her behaviour strange.

Soon, Neil reached his destination. He was passing by the lobby of the hotel and his phone rang. Neil received the call.

Neil: yes, dad.

Avni came from the kitchen carrying a bowl she kept on the table.

Prakash: did you reach safely?

Avni heard Prakash. She turned to him. The whole Khanna family was present there.

Neil: yes, Dad, I have reached Shimla and tomorrow, I will meet the clients.

Prakash: ok, take care of yourself and don’t worry about here, I will handle everything.

Neil: ok, Dad, bye.

Prakash: bye.

Neil cuts the call and was going to the corridor. Prakash cuts the call.

Prakash: Neil reached safely.

Shweta and Bebe thanked God and Avni smiled. She also thanked God.

The next morning, Neil wakes up and again closed his eyes, he turns his side by setting the blanket. After some minutes, Neil opened his eyes and frowns to see the empty side. Neil looked around and realized that he is in the hotel. Neil again looked at the side. He missed Avni because daily he wakes up and finds Avni sleeping beside him. Neil touched the bed. He turns his face to the other side and saw his cell phone. Neil picked up his phone and was sure that Avni had sent him a message but to his surprise, there was no message from Avni. Neil frowns and felt disappointed. Neil sat and ruffled his hair.

Neil opened his suitcase which was kept on the bed. He was selecting his clothes. Neil took out the shirt and something falls on the floor. Neil saw a card. Neil frowns and picked it up. He opened the card.

Neil reads: the darkness of night will be taken off by the shining rays of the sun, the rainbow will scatter the colour of happiness after the rain of tears, nothing is permanent, everything is temporary. The cloud of sorrow will fly away with the wind and the sun will shine again.

Neil smiled.

Neil reads further: Like a sun shines after the dark night, you will also get some way. The new morning will come by getting something new for you. Just believe in God, believe in yourself, this phase will also pass.

Neil got motivated, he was smiling, he looked at his phone and goes to that side of the bed and picked up it.

On the other side, Avni got ready in a simple plain light colour dress. Her phone rang and she goes to pick up her phone from the bed, she saw the caller id and was shocked to see that.
