It was the time of night, the moon was shining in the sky and the Mehta house was decorated with lights and flowers from outside and inside. People were enjoying the party. The terrace was also decorated. Avni was shockingly looking at the terrace and no one was there. Avni came forward and she looked around but no one was there. Avni thinks.

Avni: where did he go?

Avni was thinking and suddenly she shivers when she felt two hands on her waist. Someone moved to her ear and it was Neil.

Neil whispered: you were finding me?

Avni closed her eyes and she was feeling butterflies in her stomach. Neil rubbed his lips at Avni’s ear and Avni squeezed her eyes. Neil was still feeling low but how can he leave this chance of getting close to his wife.

Neil: I knew it, you will come here.

Avni opened her eyes. Neil moved to Avni’s neck and Avni squeezed her eyes. She was breaking under Neil’s effect. The reality hits Avni and she jerks her shoulder by grinning her teeth. Neil looked at Avni.

Avni: I came here by finding a friend, not you so leave me.

Neil: really?

Avni: yes.

Neil whispered in Avni’s ear.

Neil: liar.

Avni shivers. Neil bits Avni’s ear. Avni winces. They heard someone calls Avni. Neil turned his face and he loosed his grip. Avni took that as a chance and she moved away. Avni turned runs from there. Neil looked at her and realised that he left her. Neil smiled to see Avni and then he caught his forehead because he felt dizzy.

Neil: now I should visit a doctor, it is something serious.

Neil thinks.

Avni was at the party and was standing with some guests. She smiled and nodded. Avni looked around for Neil. She turned her face and she saw Neil passing by the guests while wiping his mouth and forehead. Neil goes to the door and goes from there. Avni got sad to see him going. Her friend called her name and asked what happened. Avni smiled and shook her head. She talked with her and again looked at the door.

Soon, the party ends and the Khannas and Mehtas were standing out of the Mehta house. Avni met them and Shweta hugged Avni. They got emotional. Shweta broke the hug and cupped Avni's face.

Shweta: I miss you so much.

Avni looked down.

 Shweta: Our home is no more home, it became a house where silence is all around.

Avni looked at her with tearful eyes.

Shweta hugged Avni again and then Prakash kept his hand on Avni's head and then they got in the car with a heavy heart and goes from there. Avni was looking at the car. She thinks.

There was complete silence outside and inside the Khanna mansion. Prakash was walking to and fro and Shweta was looking at him with fear.

Shweta: leave it, Prakash Ji.

Prakash stopped and gave her a look. Shweta looked down. Neil entered the Khanna mansion. Prakash turned. Shweta and Bebe looked at Neil. Bebe was sitting on the couch. Neil looked up and he stopped to see his family. Neil looked at their faces and then he looked down. Neil was going.

Prakash: why did you go to the Mehta house?

Neil stopped but he did not turn to Prakash. Neil was standing near the stairs.

Prakash: what was the need to create that drama?

Neil turned to him.

Neil: Drama? What did I do? First of all, I didn't create any drama, I didn't call the police. I just went to meet my wife and secondly, it is not the first time that I went there... I am doing every possible effort to pacify Avni but you people will never understand it so just let it be.

Neil looked at his family and Prakash was giving him a deadly glare but it didn't bother Neil so he goes from there by climbing the stairs.

Prakash: did you see it? Did you see how he talked to me?

Shweta looked down.

On the other side, Avni was sitting on the bed and was thinking about Neil and his efforts.

Avni: Am I overreacting? The efforts, Neil is putting in to pacify me, it shows that he is saying the truth. Am I misunderstanding him?

Avni thinks.

Avni: Avni, don't take any decision in anger for you regret later. Think with a calm mind.

Avni thinks and tries to connect the links.

Avni: Juhi and Vidyut were in a relationship but according to Neil, Vidyut is not a good man and according to Vidyut, Neil came between them.

Avni kept her fist on her lips and thinks.

Avni: but if Neil and Juhi are in a relationship then why Neil didn't disclose it to his parents... Tch... Who is telling truth, who is lying, I am not understanding anything?

Avni thinks.

Avni: My heart is saying that Neil is saying the truth. His continuous efforts to pacify me while he was getting investments and Juhi was also with him and now he has stopped his dream project for me.

Avni thinks.

Flashback:

Avni, Ashish and Neela maa were having breakfast silently. Ashish looked at Avni and he thinks. Ashish looked at his plate and stirred the spoon.

Ashish: Neil has stopped his dream project.

Avni was about to eat but she stopped to hear Ashish. Avni was holding the spoon in her hand and she looked at Ashish who eats and was not looking at her. Avni was shocked and she recalled what Neil said to her "if you want then I will stop my dream project. I don't want anything else except you."

Avni composed herself and eats the food but God and only she knew how she was feeling. Neela maa was looking at Avni. Avni stirred the spoon.

Avni: then why are you telling this to me? I am not interested in Mr Khanna's dream project.

Ashish got angry.

Ashish: oh, please, Avni, now stop this all. I understand that you are hurt but your this behaviour is beyond my understanding. You are behaving like you have no heart. Since when you became so heartless?

Avni looked away. She was hurt because Ashish called her Avni. Yes, she asked him but still, he was calling her Princess but today he called her Avni in anger.

Ashish: there was a time when you were used to thinking about others' feelings. You have a soft heart now what happened.

Avni: you and your beloved son-in-law are responsible for that. You both made me like this.

Ashish smiled and Avni was confused. Avni frowned.

Ashish: at least, you accept that he is my son-in-law.

Avni was shocked.

Ashish: accept that you still love him.

Avni got angry and she got up. She was going. Neela maa got up and wants to stop Avni. Ashish got up in anger.

Ashish: Princess, you can't run from reality. Accept the truth. Princess, Neil is innocent.

Avni stopped and she got angry. Avni turned to him.

Avni: Yes, you are right. He is innocent because you are the real mastermind.

Ashish was shocked.

Avni: you are responsible for everything. You forced him to marry me. You destroyed my life.

Ashish was shocked and Avni's eyes were teary.

Avni: you ruined everything. Even now also you are taking his side.

Ashish: because I know the truth.

Avni shook her head. Neela maa was looking at them.

Avni: means, I am lying?

Avneil looked at each other. Neil cupped Avni's face and he got emotional.

Neil: I don't want Ashish papa's investment. I am doing these efforts to get you back.

Avni looked at Neil with tearful eyes.

Neil: if you want then I will stop my dream project. I don't want anything else except you.

Avni thinks.

Avni: This all can not be drama and I saw honesty in his eyes that night... Should I give him a chance?

Avni thinks and nods.

Avni: yes, I should give him a chance to explain.

Avni nods.

Avni: yes, I will give him a chance to explain.

Avni sighed. She looked up and she saw the time. It shows 11:45 pm.

Avni: this is not the right time to call. I will talk to him in the morning.

Avni thinks.

Avni and Neil were laying on the bed and were missing each other. They recalled the party moment and a soft smile appeared on their faces and tears formed in their eyes.

The sun rises with new hopes and challenges. Avni and Ashish were sitting at the dining table. Neela maa came downstairs and was upset. She caught her head. Neela maa tried to see but her vision got blurred. Avni looked at her and frowns.

Avni: Mamma?

Neela maa falls and fainted. Avni widens her eyes in shock.

Avni shouts: mamma.

Ashish looked at Avni and turned. He was shocked to see Avni. Avni and Ashish ran to her. Avni took Neela maa's head on her lap, she tapped Neela maa's face and called her name but no use. Avni was hell worried and her eyes were filled with tears.
