Heyo! Yay chapter four! Sorry it took a while, I've been a little busy lately doing some stuff and haven't been able to update. . . . Sorry! Anyway, I would like to dedicate this chapter to pokemonlover2! I meet her on Wattpad and I'm glad I did! After all that's one of the reasons Wattpad was made, so you could meet new people! pokemonlover2 I hope I can meet you one day in real life, that would be awesome!!! Thank you guys! POV: Lucy

We walked up the steps to the front door to the majors house. Everyone was in front of me cause I was a bit slower than them since I had Natsu leaning against me with his arm around my shoulders. He was still motion sick from the train. Erza knocked on the door. A young girl in a maid outfit opened the door. She was very pretty with short purple hair.

"May I help you?" She asked in a sweet voice.

"We're here for the job request that was sent out." Erza said holding up the job request.

"Oh yes! I am Suzan, you can call me Suzie." She said bowing and letting us in. She closed the door. "I'm so glad you came so soon. I will take you to the major. Please follow me." She then turned around and walking down a long hallway.

"Ugh." Natsu groaned and stirred as we walked down the hallway.

"Feeling better Natsu?" I asked. He looked up at me.

"Yeah I think so." He said walking a bit more by himself, instead of me having to drag him. He still had his arm around me, leaning on me a bit as we came to a door at the end of the hallway.

"Mr. Taylor. There is a team here for the job request you sent out." Suzie said stepping aside so we could walk into the room. Mr. Taylor looked up from the papers he was reading and stood up. He was wearing a black suit and a light blue tie. His hair was light brown and was starting to show some gray at the roots.

"Thank you Suzie. And thank you all for coming." He said bowing to us.

"So what is exactly the problem?" Gray asked moving aside so I could get Natsu in one of the chairs. I then sat in the chair next to him.

"Well as I put on the job request." Mr. Taylor said sitting down. "There's this huge magical tree in the middle of the forest that has been attracting many different monsters and beasts that have been coming from all over. At first we didn't mind it much, they stayed where they were supposed to, and we left them be. But then there started to be more and more showing up by the day, and they also started coming closer to the town. So I sent in some military teams to try to thin out the population and push them back into their territory. But when they came back there was half of the men I sent in there."

"What!" I gasped low enough to myself that nobody else heard. I'm pretty sure Natsu heard me though, because he glanced my way, with a worried look.

"Most of them were severely injured. I feel as if it was my fault that they're all dead, and that's why I'm asking you to help. That tree needs to be destroyed, as quickly as possible!"

"We understand sir. We will prepare tonight and head to the tree tomorrow." Erza said with reassurance. Mr. Taylor nodded.

"Thank you. I wish you all best of luck." He said. We all started walking towards the door. "Oh, before you go. I have rooms waiting for you to stay in at a motel down the street."

"Thank you Mr. Taylor!" I said turning to him. "You didn't have to do that."

"I felt like it was the right thing to do for you. Besides it is tourist week and most of the motels are packed anyway. And I'm sorry but I was also not expecting such a large group, that I only had two rooms set aside." Mr. Taylor said standing and bowing with apologies.

"That's alright we can manage." Levy said. We were all then escorted out by Suzzie.

"Thank you all so much for doing this!" Suzie said as she opened the door and bowed to us as he walked out.

"No problem! Its our job after all!" I said giving her a smile as I walked out the door. She smiled back.

"Good luck to you all!" She called waving goodbye as we walked down the steps.

We walked down the road towards the hotel. There was so many people around that it was hard to make it through the crowd. We did our best to admired some of the shops that were spread out on both sides of the street. Some had clothing others jewelery, and some others were food. Food!

'Oh no!'

"Natsu! Don't! Even! Think! About! It!" I yelled at him. He looked at me with a huge grin on his face.

"To late!" He yelled as he ran for a food booth. I reached out and was able to grab a hold of his scarf, but he ran to fast and I got dragged with him. I tried to keep up with him but tripped and was thrown to the ground by the people that were walking. I fell to the ground as people kept on walking. They were either walking on me, or kicking me trying to walk through me.

"Natsu!" I called out on pain. Tears started to form in my eyes. I couldn't move.

"Lucy!" I looked across the street to see Natsu trying to push people out of the way to get to me. I pushed myself up into my forearms. When all of a sudden somebody kicks me in the face, hard. "Lucy!"

"Natsu." I try to call out but it only comes out as a whisper, and everything goes black.
