I would like to dedicate this chapter to the Pilgrim's that came to the U.S. and declared peace with the Native Americans, instead of trying to make more conflict. Without them we would not be able to celebrate Thanksgiving! So make sure you say thanks to them! Thank you Pilgrim's and thanks Native Ameriacns! Love you guys! Have a Happy Thanksgiving! POV: Natsu

I was sitting in a chair near Lucy watching her sleep.

'I feel like a creep. But she looks so cute when she's asleep.'

She started to shiver, so I got up and grabbed a blanket from the chest behind the couch. I unfolded the blanket and laid it on her as she turned onto her side. Her bangs then fell over her eyes. I kneeled down and pushed her hair away from her face.

POV: Lucy

I was asleep when I felt something touching my face. I swatted at it and turned over and tried to go back to sleep. Once I was in my other side. I heard light giggling behind me.

"Natsu?" I said looking over my shoulder. There he was standing next to the couch. "What happened?" I sat up and flinched as I felt quite a bit of pain travel all over my body.

"You fell in the street, and got trampled by a bunch of jackasses." He said helping me sit up. He sat down on the couch next to me. "How are you feeling?"

"Bruised." I claimed. He smiled a little knowing that I what I meant to say was that I was okay. Sorta.

"Sorry." He said looking down. I looked at him in shock.

"What? Why are you sorry?" I asked confused.

"Cause it's my fault you fell. And also my fault that I didn't get to you sooner." He said. I reached out and grabbed his hand.

"It wasn't your fault. I tripped, and there were a lot of people around. So, don't blame yourself." I told him. Giving him a reassuring smile. He looked up and smiled a little as well.

"Thanks Luce." He said. I gave him a smile.

"Natsu could I have some water?" I asked realising how thirsty I was. Natsu nodded and stood up to get me some water. As he stood up and walked away, our hands dragged away from each other. And for some reason I didn't want to let go. "Where are the others?" I asked looking around.

"They all went to the market to get the things we'll need for tomorrow." He said walking back to me with water in hand.

"Thanks." I said taking the glass from him. "Hopefully I won't feel so sore in the morning." I said stretching my mussels.

"Whys that?" He asked, moving my legs out of the way so he could sit down with my legs on his lap. I felt a bit of heat in my cheeks.

"So that I don't miss out on the mission." I said before taking another drink of water.

"You don't have to go on the mission of you don't want to." Natsu said. "I mean if your injuries still hurt in the morning you can stay here."

"No!" I blurted out.

"Huh." Natsu looked at me in surprise.

"No!" I reapeted. I leaned forward closer to Natsu, to hopefully push my words into his brain. "Natsu I've told you many times that I'm not going to sit in the sidelines just because I have a few scrapes! It's much more fun if we're all together!" I flinched at the pain that was traveling up my spine. I felt the pain and I started leaning to the side.

'Wait! I'm on the couch!'

I looked over to see there was a table in front of the couch. Right where my head was going to land. I closed my eyes tightly and waited for the pain. But it didn't come.

"You okay Lucy?" Natsu asked. He was holding my head, protecting it from the table.

"Yeah." I said. He moved me back onto the couch, since I was lying more than half way off of it. When I was in a comfortable position, Natsu looked at me with worry. "I'm fine."

"Are you sure?" He asked not convinced. I nodded and gave him a smile. "Alright, well you should probably rest more." Natsu suggested. I laid back down on the couch.

"Night Natsu." I whispered.

"Night Luce." Natsu whispered back. As I driffted off into sleep.
