Another one I wrote for Gajevy Week! <3

"Well," Levy said, clearing her throat as her face turned a brilliant shade of pink, "this is awkward." Indeed, it was. After Lucy and Natsu had agreed to watch Silas and the twins, Levy and I had rushed off on a last-minute job together. Unfortunately, because we hadn't been able to get train tickets before they sold out, we had been forced to catch a ride with some old trader getting ready to leave town in his magic-mobile.

And so had about six other people.

So, there were eight of us crammed into the back of a four-person magic-mobile, while the old man sat in the driver's seat, humming pleasantly to himself. He was taking his good old time getting everything ready to go, so we hadn't even begun moving yet.

Thanks to the crammed seating, Levy had been forced to sit on my lap, and the both of us were shoved in the middle with barely any space to move. Or should I say, with no space to move...

"At least we'll be able to get some time away, just the two of us," I offered, knowing it wouldn't really help the situation.

She giggled, smiling at me, "I suppose that is the up side here. Although, I already miss the kids." Since the twins had been born, she hadn't taken many jobs, not wanting to leave all three of the kids while they were so little. So, this was the first time in 3 years she would be away from them for more than a day.

"Me too, Shrimp," I said, kissing her forehead. "But we'll be back in three days, and then we can go on a family trip, all five of us."

"We should go to our cabin in the mountains," she mused, "we haven't been there since Silas was a baby. And the twins have never seen snow before. I bet they'd all like that."

"Sure," I nodded. "We'll take the kids to the cabin for a couple of weeks and play in the snow. There's a family hot spring not too far from the cabin, so we can visit it, too."

"That sounds lovely," she sighed.

"Yeah—" Anything I might have wanted to say after that was cut off immediately when the old man started up the magic-mobile and began driving. I groaned, leaning my head against her as I focused on not throwing up in such a crowded car. "Damn motion sickness."

Giggling, Levy kissed the top of my head and began stroking my hair gently. "I love you, motion sickness and all."
