POV: Natsu

I slowly opened my eyes, as a bright light blinded me through the window. I rolled over so I was on my side and saw that I wasn't in my own house, and that I was in the Guild's infirmary. As I sat up and saw that I was all by myself.

'What the hell happened?'

I thought as I walked towards the door. Once I opened it I saw that everyone was over by the bar, laughing.

"What's going on?" I asked as I made my way over towards the large group.

"Hey Natsu, you're awake." Marco said with a laughing smile.

"Yeah, what's everyone standing around for?" I asked.

"Haven't you met her already?" Wakaba asked.

"Who?" I asked.

"Kenia." Wakaba answered, somewhat laughing as he took a sip of his beer. The name startled me and I made my way towards the bar counter, accidentally bumping into Wakaba and made him spill his beer all over himself. "Hey." He griped. When I got to the middle of the crowd, I saw that Levy, Juvia, Mira, Happy, Erza, Gray, and Gajeel were sitting around Kenia, as they all laughed together. But I wasn't. I can't help but stare at this girl that looked so similar to someone who I used to know. But now that things have calmed down I can finally see the differences. She was wearing long black sleeve shirt, that the edge of the sleeves hooked around her middle fingers, under a green high neck tank top with shorts attached to it, a black belt, thigh high black socks with small rips in them, and black combat boots.

Her hair is just below her chin and she had bangs hanging somewhat over her eyes. But the thing that caught my attention the most, and would every time was her eyes.

They were a bright and shining gold color, but when she saw me her eyes dulled. As did her smile. Soon everyone was quiet and were staring at me and Kenia.

"What are you doing here?" I demand.

"I'm spending some time with everyone." Kenia said.

"Natsu you wouldn't believe it." Happy said as he stood on the bar counter. "Kenia really was that pack that was in Clover Town. She was there recruiting."

"You were there?" I asked.

"She's been everywhere." Levy said. "She's been recruiting for the last year."

"For what?" I asked.

"My Guild." Kenia said as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"Your Guild?" I asked.

"That's right." Kenia said. "Do you have a problem with that?"

"A problem?" I ask.

"Uh-oh." Gray said.

"A problem." I asked again. "A year you've been missing, and in the mean time you just whip up yourself a Guild? You left us, wondering what the hell happened to you. To Lucy."

"You know what happened." Kenia said. "Lucy wrote you a letter explaining everything."

"But what did happen to her?" I asked. Kenia was quiet for a second and then took a deep breath.

"She died." Kenia said, and stood. "She died so that she could let me have a life. And that's what I'm doing. Me and my pack built our Guild so that I can help others like me. Other werewolves that need help. I am taking Lucy's sacrifice and making the most of it." I was quiet for a few moments.

"You need to leave." I said.

"Natsu." Erza gripped at me, but I stared at her and she shut her mouth.

"No that's alright." Kenia said and moved towards the door. "I have to get going anyway."

"So soon?" Juvia asked.

"I'm afraid so, wouldn't want to upset anyone any more than they already are." Kenia said as she stared at me.

"Just run back to your stupid pack and stay away from us." I told her. "We were doing just fine before you showed up."

"Then why were you looking for me this last year?" Kenia asked. "If you were doing just fine then why did you come after me in the forest? "

"That second one was Happy." I told her.

"And the first one was you." Kenia said. "You're still not over her. I mean look at you." She said as she pointed at me. "You barely eat. You're exhausted. You've spent a year looking for me, instead of moving on."

"How could I when you just up and left?" I asked.

"When she up and left!" Kenia said. "She left, not me!"

"Is there really a difference?" I asked.

"Yes!" Kenia screamed at me. "I'm not Lucy! I was never Lucy! And I never will be Lucy! So quite acting like I left you, when I don't even care for you!"

"Then why are you here?" I asked. "Why did you come back to Lucy's old apartment?"

"I was running away from a problem." Kenia said.

"Like us?" I asked.

"For fucks sake!" Kenia screamed and then walked out the Guild doors. I ran after her started following her into the woods.

POV: Kenia

"Then why are you here?" Natsu asked me as his friends surrounded me and stared at Natsu as he continued to take his anger out on me. "Why did you come back to Lucy's old apartment?" I hesitated a moment before answering.

"I was running away from a problem." I answered carefully, trying not to lose my temper.

"Like us?" He asked, and I blew up.

"For fucks sake!" I screamed and then walked out the building to stop myself from braking anything. But Natsu couldn't let it go, because he ran after me started following me towards the woods.

"What?" Natsu asked.

"Just leave me alone." I told him, trying keep my cool.

"Like you did to us for the last year." He questioned me. I then whipped around and punched him in the face, knocking him down on his back.

"Get it in your head Natsu!" I yelled at him. "I am not Lucy. I didn't walk out on you. I stayed away from you for the last year so that you could move on in your life! And that I could live the one that Lucy gave me! And with that I've been busy helping people that need me."

"What if we needed you?" Natsu asked as he got up.

"What?" I questioned him.

"Did you ever think that maybe we needed you?" Natsu asked. "Even if you're not Lucy." He said struggling with her name. I stared at him for a moment before bringing myself to say anything.

"Yes." I said. "At one point I thought that it wouldn't be such a bad idea to stay. But there are other people that need me more than you. So if you'll excuse me, I need to get back to them." I then turned away from him and went to walk away from him again but he asked another question.

"Why?" He asked.

'When will he quite.'

"Because my pack is in danger." I confessed, turning back to him. "And to be honest I don't remember running out of the wood to your apartment. Maybe, just maybe. . . . . ." I paused for a moment and took a deep breath, trying to remain calm. "I had hope that Fairy Tail would want to help. But obviously I was wrong."

"No, we want to help." Someone said from behind Natsu and I turned my attention to see Levy was standing in front of the rest of the Guild. "Please let us help you."

"Thank you Levy." I told her with a small smile to let her know that I appreciated it. "But I don't need anymore problems getting in my way from protecting my family." I said as I glared at Natsu, and I could see that my words made him flinch. I turned away from Natsu and went to walk into the woods, but I stopped when I saw a small amount of red just behind the trees. I stared at the color as I almost didn't see it.

'The intruders here.'

I thought to my beta.

'We're on our way.'

He told me after a moment of silence.

'I'm going to run them down.'

'Remember we still don't know who it is or what they want.'

'We're about to find out.'

I then jumped forwards and turned into my wolf form and once I moved the red figure vanished further into the trees.
