Yo minna!  I'm sorry I've been inactive, things have been busy.  Hope you guys understand.  But I have another story for y'all...I apologize if Rogue seems a bit OC.  In this story Sting doesn't exist (sorry Sting I love you but you don't fit in the story right now).

Also it's written in 3rd POV.  Wanted to try this.

(H/c) = Hair Color

(E/c) = Eye Color

(Y/f/n) = Your Full Name

Daijobu = Are you okay?

Chotto-matte = Wait

Rogue gazed out of the window, sighing heavily. This school's education isn't nearly as good as Sabertooth High School's, he silently complained, thinking back to his previous school.

He tore his gaze away from the window, gazing at his fellow classmates, who were still struggling with the quiz he had finished five minutes ago. He scoffed, and mentally dubbed them all as idiots, but him being the smartest in the class only made him feel even more out of place.

His old school, Sabertooth Middle School, hadn't been the most perfect place, but for Rogue, it had been much, much better than this broken-down excuse for a school. His family, which only consisted of his mother and himself, had to move from another city to Magnolia, their current home. Apparently it offered his mother a better "opportunity."

He was trying to adjust to this new setting, mostly for the sake of his mother, but it was hard to when he was just so...different than everybody else here. Besides, he had transferred into his school in November. It was after the first month of school and barely anyone paid attention to him (he swore that a teacher forgot to call his name during attendance once).

He hated this stupid school. With a strong passion.

That's why he basically gave up on finding new friends and decided not to get attached to the school this time. After all, you never know if he's going to be moving again. He missed his friends deeply and he didn't want to make new friends--he didn't want to go through the pain of missing friends again.

My life sucks.

His red eyes swept across the classroom again, and, unlike the last time he looked at his fellow classmates, he spotted one unique classmate this time. She had (h/c) hair, (e/c) eyes, and had her eyes glued to a book. Her face held that of anticipation, and she leaned a bit closer to the book, her attention completely captivated by the story she was reading.

She may have been smart enough to finish early, Rogue reasoned in his head, but she's still acting weirdly. What a weirdo.

Right at that moment, the bell rang. Students who hadn't finished the quiz (which was more than half) handed their papers in before practically bursting out of the door. Rogue, who was more than willing to leave, couldn't wait any longer and rushed out with the rest of the students.

Walking down the hall swiftly, he pulled out his schedule and checked his next class. Mathematics, he thought as he tucked his schedule away. That class should be okay--

His thoughts were abruptly cut off when his body came in contact with another force, causing the two of them to tumble to the ground, Rogue's binder and books scattering all over the cold floor.

He heard a small gasp, and somebody say, "Gomen-ne-sai! Daijobu?!"

He groaned quietly, and he opened his eyes to find himself staring directly into a pair of (e/c) eyes. Startled, he jumped back, and once he had gotten a clear view of her, he recognized her as the weirdo girl in his class.

As the girl picked up his books and binder for him, Rogue spoke up. "Oi, watch where you're going."

"I'm sorry," she apologized once more, handing him his belongings. "I didn't mean--"

Rogue interrupted by clicking his tongue, and he stood up. "I don't have time to hear your rambling, weirdo. Have a nice day."

The girl raised an eyebrow curiously. "Weirdo?" she echoed.

Coldly, he turned to walk away, but he stopped once he heard the girl calling to him again. "Chotto-matte!"

He turned to face her, a hint of annoyance on his face. "What?"

The girl stood up and walked over to him with a small smile. "What's your name?"

Rogue blinked. "My name?" he repeated incredulously.

He hadn't expected for her to care. In fact, she was probably the first one in this school to even truly acknowledge his existence. Instead of feeling completely irritated, he felt a tinge of warmth spread throughout his body.

The girl beamed at him, nodding. "Yeah! I'm (Y/n), (Y/f/n). What's yours?"

Rogue stared at her for a while. "Rogue," he finally responded shortly.

Briskly turning to leave again, he halted in his tracks when he heard (Y/n) shouting with her loud, overly-bright voice.

"Nice to meet a new friend, Rogue!"

Stunned by this sentence, he turned yet again to stare at her, wide-eyed. (Y/n)'s (e/c) eyes seemed to sparkle, and she was grinning at him with the biggest grin he'd ever seen anyone wear.

"We're not friends," he deadpanned.

And this time, he left before (Y/n) was able to stop him again.

Thy time skip~

"Rogue~!"

Wincing at the shrill call, Rogue didn't have enough time to react as he was tackled by the ever-so-familiar girl who insisted was his friend.

Rogue stumbled forward as (Y/n) clung to his back like a child. "Go, horsey!" she shouted, laughing. "Giddy-up!"

"You weirdo, I'm not a horse!" Rogue snapped, hooking his arms under her legs to keep her from falling (and to stop her from clawing at his neck and choking him). "Get off of my back! Literally, and figuratively!"

(Y/n) ignored him and giggled. "C'mon, let's go to our next class!"

"No way," Rogue protested, reaching one hand up to pry her arms away from his neck. "Leave me alone, psycho."

(Y/n) paid no mind to his dark attitude and jumped off of his back. "We have the next class together, though," she argued, her bright smile never fading.

Rogue rolled his eyes and strolled away to English class, with (Y/n) skipping beside him.

"Rogue~!" (Y/n) sang as she sat down next to him during lunch.

"What do you want?" Rogue asked bluntly, eating his lunch slowly.

(Y/n)'s smile only grew. "Are you doing anything after school today?"

Rogue's eyes widened, and he whipped his head to stare at her grinning face. "I don't know what you're thinking," he warned, "but stop thinking it."

"We should hang out at the park today!" she suggested, her eyes practically shining at the idea.

"No way," he answered flatly, returning his attention to his half-eaten hamburger. "I need to study today. Besides, my mom would be worried if I didn't come home on time."

"Aww, she wouldn't mind if you went to the park, would she?" (Y/n) whined childishly.

"I'm not going," Rogue insisted.

(Y/n) crossed her arms and pouted. "You're no fun."

"And you're immature."

"How mean! You're a bully!"

Time skip because Rogue's a bully

"Rogue~!"

Rogue groaned, burying his face in his hands. "It never ends," he muttered under his breath.

He looked up from his hands, only to see that (Y/n) had slid in the seat next to him. "What are you doing?" she questioned, peeking at the book in his hands.

"Reading, duh," he replied, showing her the cover of the book, "and don't scream in the library. You're ruining the peaceful environment."

In an instant, (Y/n) had lowered her voice to a small whisper. "Sorry," she told him quietly, "but you're coming to the park today, right?"

"No," he responded, and with that, he grabbed his book and left without another word.

Reader-chan skips through time

Rogue sighed, flopping onto the sofa as he felt more exhausted than usual. Probably because of (Y/n), he thought bitterly to himself.

For the past three days, she had been pestering him, popping up when he thought no one was around. Today was more irking because she had invited him to the park no less than eight times, and she freaked him out when he was enjoying his free time in the halls.

Running his fingers through his black hair, he sighed heavily yet again. Finally, some peace and quiet, he thought. Mom probably won't be home until 6:00, so I have two hours of freedom all to myself--

"Rogue~!"

He froze, his eyes widening and his heart racing. No. It couldn't be her. He was just imagining it. Look, that cursed (Y/n) was making him go mad...

The doorbell rang, and Rogue tensed up again. Probably just the mail, he reasoned, or maybe Mom's coming home early.

Reluctantly, he forced himself to drag his body to the door, and opened the door to find a pair of sparkling eyes staring back into his own.

Time skip because suddenly you have a time turner from Harry Potter

Rogue was feeling his patience quickly running thin. First she bothered him around school, and now she found out where he lived? This was getting insane.

Yesterday, she had invited herself into his home without his consent, and when he tried to force her out, his mother just had to show up because she "got the rest of the day off." She had happily offered (Y/n) dinner (to which she eagerly agreed to), and Rogue's relaxation had been utterly ruined.

"Rogue~!"

Hearing his name being sung by the same voice in the same tone for the umpteenth time, something in him snapped. He whirled around, face to face with (Y/n), who was smiling brightly at him. Her smile, however, faded away once she spotted the furious look on his face.

"What is your problem?" Rogue exploded, glaring murderously at the girl. "Why are you being so friendly? It's not natural! Nobody could be so friendly to the new kid! And how did you find out my house address, huh? Are you stalking me? What do you want from me? And why aren't you driven away by my cold persona yet? It's not normal! How come you don't leave me alone like the rest of the school? Well guess what, if you're just using me so you can gain something from me, it's not going to work. I have nothing valuable--no wealth, popularity, anything! So how could you be so kind to me?"

By the end of his rant, he was panting, and he felt so much better saying his bottled up feelings. He no longer had such an enraged look on his face anymore, and now he just stared at (Y/n), who stared back at him blankly.

"I'm kind to you because you looked lonely, Rogue," she told him softly. "You looked like you needed a friend. That's all. Nothing more."

They spent the next five minutes staring at each other, neither of them exchanging any words. A breeze brushed past them now and then, but other than that it was total silence.

"Tch," Rogue mumbled, shoving his hands into his pockets and turning away from (Y/n), who stared at his back curiously. "So, we going to the park or what, weirdo?"

Wow Rogue.  So cruel.

And yet so handsome~!

Hope you guys enjoyed, and hopefully I'll see you soon~! <3
