Sup? And look at this, a new chapter again! See I told you guys, that I didn't really like this story, and I still sorta don't. But it has gotten a lot more interesting! And I am liking it! That an classes have been boring, and most of my teacher don't care as long as I write down my notes, and do what I'm supposed to do, they don't care. So I've been able to edit the chapters more that we've gotten into the grove of things, so it's cool! As good news! I have interweb!!!! Finally! Besides school, I have been without it for about a month and a half! It sucks. A lot. Like your mom. . . . . . . just kidding! I'm sorry. Anyway, I would like to dedicate this chapter to FaithADragneel! And sorry it took me so long to follow you back! And those of you who don't know, if you follow me, I follow you back! The boys were making their way towards the town, through the trees jumping from branch to branch.

“We got to hurry before it’s too late!” Natsu yelled as they quickly progressed towards the city that smoke could be seen coming from it.

“Yeah, yeah, calm down, we’ll get there!” Gray told him. Then there was a large explosion, making the boys stop and see the large mushroom cloud rise up and above their heads.

“Then again we should probably pick up our pace.” Gajeel said.

“That maybe be wise.” Laxus said and Jellal nodded in agreeance. So the boys picked up their pace and continued towards the city, with anger in their features, and worry in their hearts.

The girls were each fighting a shark, and weren’t doing too hot. They had multiple wounds and their energy was starting to become close to nothing. Being thrown around in the explosions also wasn’t helping much either.

“Levy on your right!” Lucy yelled as a shark came up on her right and went to swing a sword at her to cut her in half.

"Solid Script: Boulder!" Levy said as she swiped her finder through the air in front of her, and the word 'boulder' appeared to block the blow, but didn’t have time to stable it and the shark hit the word sending it into Levy. Causing her to be sent flying to a wall and she sank down to the ground on her side, and the rock from her 'boulder' landed on top of her, in pieces, but she wouldn’t have been able to tell since she was knocked out.

“Levy!” Juvia yelled as she ran towards her fallen friend and as she was passing by a large piece of a building that had fallen, a shark came out of nowhere and slammed his club into her stomach, causing Juvia to be sent flying and landed opposite to Levy.

“Juvia! Are you alright?”Erza asked as she continued to block the blows that were coming from the enemy.

“I-I’m fine.” Juvia choked out, as she started to cough up blood, and started to lose consciousness.

“Not for long.” A shark said as he started to slowly walk up to Juvia, with a smug grin on his face.

“Juvia!” Mira called. “Hold on!” Mira said as she aggressively swung her sword at a shark, splitting his gut open and he fell to the ground. “I’m coming.”

“Oh no you don’t!” Another shark said as he grabbed Mira by the back of the neck and threw her into the wall.

“Ahh!” Mira cried out as her back dug into a corner of the wall.

“Mira!” Lucy called. Mira looked up at her.

“Lucy lookout!” Mira yelled with all her might. And Lucy looked to see a shark fist coming at her and she didn’t have any time to move, and was thrown back and rolled to a stop on the ground.

“Lucy!” Erza yelled. “Mira? Juvia? Levy?” Erza said getting out from the middle of the sharks, and looked at them to see that it was soon to be over for them, and Erza felt that it was her fault that she couldn’t do anything. “Ahh!” Erza called out in pain as she got hit in the back and fell to the rock beneath her.

“Let’s end this and move on.” The leader of that group of sharks said as they were all walking over to one of the girls and got ready for the final blow. One of them walked over to Lucy and brought his weapon up above his head, right as Lucy opened her eyes to see her last moments alive was coming to an end. The shark then brought his weapon down in what seemed like slow motion for Lucy, and she closed her eyes again, not want to feel the pain that was soon to be among her body. But it never came. Lucy opened her eyes to see a boy with salmon hair jumped in front of her, blocking the blow with his left arm and threw a punch at the shark making him back up then Natsu grabbed one of his katanas and slided downwards as he drew it.

“Natsu!” Lucy said in shock, but he didn’t turn to her. But the other sharks did turn to him, making them all growl in anger.

“I’ll get him, you finish them off!” The leader instructed as he marched towards Natsu, and Natsu smirked and put his katana back in it’s place in his back, as the other sharks followed the command and as they went for the final blow. The shark that was about to chop Levy to bits, swung his sword downwards. But he was then stabbed in the shoulder making him yell out in pain, but was then cut off. His head was, anyway. Levy opened her eyes to see Gajeel guarding her.

“Gajeel!” She whispered, and she looked around to see that there were others protecting her friends. The shark that was leading this little group turned and watched as the his problem grew.

A shark was about to bash Juvia’s head in went to take a swing but a boy with deep dark blue hair rammed his side into the shark that was about to hit her and shot an arrow, hitting him right in between the eyes. Juvia looked up to see her rescuer, as the shark fell on his back.

“Gray.” Juvia said as tears gathered in her eyes.

The shark that had progressed towards Erza was holding his spear with both hand and raised it up above Erza’s body, Erza’s eyes widened as the spear shined in the light, and a single tear fell down her cheek. The shark started to bring the the spear down, but as it was about halfway in between Erza and her death, the rod of the spear was cut in half and then Jellal appeared twirling his halberd and sliced the shark’s throat open and he fell to the ground.

“Jellal.” Erza said as she snapped out of her moment of fear.

The shark that had walked up to Mira was about to bring his axe down to meet Mira’s neck, but before the axe got to move towards her, an axe was thrown into his back and the shark fell onto his side. Mira looked up and smiled with her tears falling down her eyes.

“Laxus.” Mira sighed out as she cried.

"I know it’s none of our business, but could we give you ladies a hand?” Jellal asked, the girls sighed out a laugh.

“What do you think you brats are doing?” The leading shark asked.

“Getting ready to kick your ass!” Natsu said as he slammed his fist into the palm of his hand.

“You wish, kid.” The shark spat out at Natsu.

“Really?” Gajeel asked him. “Five to one, you think your going to survive?” The shark smirked.

“Alone?” The shark asked, while laughing and spread his arms out. “I am not alone, look around you, I am not the only shark here.”

“Umm, yeah you are.” Gray said, and the shark looked around him to see that he was the only one that was left in the area alive.

“Oh.” He said, but instead of panicking he smiled and laughed a little.

“What are you laughing about douche bag?” Laxus asked.

“I maybe alone, but that’s why I have this.” The shark responded and grabbed a horn off his hip, and went to blow into it and signal for reinforcements.

“Gray!” Natsu yelled.

“Already on it!” Gray said, grabbed an arrow nocking it to place and quickly lining up the shot and fired an arrow, knocking the horn out of the sharks hand and all the way over to Gajeel, who happily stepped on it, making it crush to pieces.

“Shit.” The shark whispered to himself as the boys, one by one rushed at the lone shark. First Natsu punched him in the gut, making the shark spit up quite a large amount of blood as he almost fell over after backing up a few feet. Then Gajeel swung his sword multiple times, all along his arms and legs, making him immobile. Laxus took his knives that were attached to his lower back and shoved them just under his rib cage, and pulled them out for the next hit. Gray used his bow to choke the shark by placing the entire limb on his throat and pulled back. Jellal then got in front of Gray and the shark, getting ready to land the final blow.

“Don’t hit the bow.” Gray told Jellal. “Or me.”

“No promises.” Jellal said, laughing a little, and charged at the shark swinging his halberd down splitting the shark’s skull open.

“Nice shot.” Natsu said as he wiping the blood off his cheek that the shark had spit onto him.

“Nice uppercut.” Jellal complimented back.

“Yeah no kidding, have you been doing extra training again?” Gajeel asked.

“Guilty.” Natsu said as he shrugged.

“Natsu?”

“Jellal?”

“Gray?”

“Gajeel?”

“Laxus?”

The girls all whispered at once. And each of the boys turned to where their name had come from, and they all smiled. Walking over to each of the girls, and picked them up, carrying them over to a wall that didn’t have too much debris around it. They then set the girls down and stood in front of them.

“You girls rest for a minute.” Gray said and they all turned to leave.

“Wait.” Juvia said. “Where are you going?”

“We’re are going to put an end to what we started.” Natsu said.

“No, you can’t! They are much too strong for you!” Lucy called out as she tried to get up, but Natsu lightly pushed her back down.

“It’s alright, we’ll be fine.” He told her.

“No you won’t.” Erza said. “There’s to many of them, you won’t be able to do much damage to how many there are!”

“We’ll be fine.” Jellal told her.

“No you won’t if you walk away from us you are not doing any better then walking straight into your grave.” Levy told the boys that stood in front of her.

“Levy, we know what we’re doing, we’ve been doing this kind of thing since we were kids.” Gajeel told her.

“Since then we have been training to be able to take down any type of enemy.” Jellal said.

“No matter how strong.” Natsu added.

“No matter how big.” Gray added as well.

“We can do this.” Gajeel said. “It’s what we were meant to do.”

“To kill criminals.” Erza said.

“Not just people.” Jellal said.

“Huh?” Lucy asked.

“What, you think that you’re our first magical creature that we’ve come across?” Natsu asked.

“We’ve battled ghouls.” Gray said, starting to think back on their adventures they had in the past.

“Witches.” Jellal said.

“Werewolves.” Laxus added.

“And lots of other things and we have won each and every one of those battles.” Gajeel said.

“Because we’ve worked together.” Natsu said.

“Always have.” Gray said.

“Always will.” Jellal said.

“But this is something that you can’t do.” Mira said.

"They are too strong.” Juvia said.

“That and they all possess magic, you just got lucky that these sharks didn’t have time to use any against you.” Erza said, gesturing to the fallen enemy, whose bodies surrounding them.

“Well we can deal with that.” Natsu told them.

"No you can’t, most of them possess dark magic, magic that can kill you if it touches you.” Lucy said.

“We’ve dealt with magic like that before, and we’re fine.” Jellal said.

“Not like this.” Levy said.

“You’d be surprised.” Gajeel told her.

“Please don’t do this, just leave and get somewhere safe.” Juvia pleaded.

“No, you didn't leave us to die, so now we're not going to leave you.” Gray said. And the girls were quiet for a few moments.

“The only thing is though, is that we’re not in water.” Levy said. “And we can't drown.”

“The point is.” Gajeel said, making Levy giggle a little. “Is that you saved us, and now it’s our turn to save you.”

“We don't need saving.” Erza said.

“Oh yeah, so where exactly would you be right now if it weren’t for us?” Jellal asked, and Erza looked down at the ground.

“We just need a few minutes to heal.” Mira said changing the subject, as she started to sit up.

“It’s going to take longer than a few minutes.” Gray said.

“No it won't.” Laxus said. “Mermaids have a fast recovery rate, meaning if we were to be stabbed it would only take a few minute to heal, we don’t die that easy, but they’ll still be sore.”

“Yep, and this time around is going to hurt like a bitch.” Erza said, making the girls nod in agreement.

“Mermaids got it all.” Natsu said pouting a little

“Aww, is someone jealous?” Lucy asked making fun of him.

“No.” Natsu said, while looking away and the girls and the guys laughed at him, as the boys picked up the girls and placed on their backs.

“Alright, let’s go kick some ass.” Gray said making the boys smirked, quickly taking off down the streets towards the castle.
