"reum?" yoongi called out to his girlfriend, who was leaning her head on his shoulder. he wanted to ask her for more popcorn but he didn't hear any response from her.

"reum, can you pass me the popcorn—" before he could even finish his sentence, reum shoved the packet of popcorn into his face, which resulted in spillage of some popcorns.

yoongi frowned. he knew his girlfriend weren't someone who was this rough, so he came to a conclusion that she wasn't herself right now.

and he was right, when the screen showed that the main male character got shot by the villian, and the female protagonist was crying.

that's when he hears a loud wail coming from his girlfriend, who was crying over the scene on the screen.

"i— yoongi— why," she was choking on her tears as she fanned herself to stop the tears, "why do good people have to die even though they did nothing bad?"

yoongi reached out and grabbed a few pieces of tissues. using the tissue, he gently wiped away the tears that were falling non-stop from reum's eyes.

"that is because they are not destined to have a happy ending. maybe in this world, they are destined to have a sad one, so heaven takes them away and they get to live happily. do you get it, reum?"

reum took a deep breath and nodded, with her head still on yoongi's shoulder. however, there were still tears on her cheeks so yoongi continued to wipe them away.

"yoongi," reum grabbed her boyfriend's hand and slowly intertwined their fingers together, "we will have a happy ending, right?"

yoongi leaned down and placed a soft kiss on her forehead, while squeezing their hands together to reassure her his answer.

"yes, reum. i promise you, that we will definitely have a happy ending."
