The first day with Renjun was okay, they have learned much about each other and made a pact, though, Renjun is the most protective out of the two of them.

Hence, he was also understanding about Jeno saying he can't come over to his house as of now, he knows the raven haired didn't want him to do any business with his stepbrother and stepmother.

They waved goodbye and he watches Jeno going in to his house and continues to walk home after that, he did notice the empty parking lot and Jeno explained Donghyuck was probably at football practice or something.

Jeno was about to dash through the kitchen and go to his room before seeing anyone, but to his dismay, his stepmother was home, she must've have the night shift today. Atleast it's easy to leave later.

"Darling, you're home," her annoyingly sweet tone greets him, he pursed his lips and nodded as he grabs a pack of chips, he hears her click her tongue and panics when she walks over.

She glares at him and slaps his face, "speak to me you freak," he winces and bites his lip.

"Hello mother," he whispers, she huffs and was about to grab him by the ear but the sound of the door opening and shut was heard.

"I'm home!" Ah, Donghyuck was home, his stepmother moves away and suddenly smiles at her son, she walks up to him and opens her arms.

Donghyuck hugs his mom and kissed her cheek, "Hi sweetie," she says.

Donghyuck pulls away and smiles, "hi mom," he then rolls his eyes at the sight of Jeno, "sup loser," the raven haired bites his tongue before he could say something he'll regret.

Their mom grabs her bag from the counter, "I'll be back tomorrow morning darling, mommy will go to work now okay?" She kissed Donghyuck's cheek and the boy nodded obediently with a pout.

She works at a business company somewhere around the city and works a lot, the only thing Jeno likes about her. "Don't worry, I'll bring you back some presents," she smiles.

Donghyuck brightens up and hugs his mom before walking her to the door, Jeno took that as getaway and rushes to his room before he shuts the door and locks it.

He hears them bidding their goodbyes and hears the TV on, he looks at the time and sees that he has a few more minutes left before leaving to the bar.

He finishes his homework quickly and his chips, he throws the empty bag to the bin and changes his clothes to an even bigger hoodie and some sweatpants.

He doesn't bother to shower since he'll be dirty later on anyway, his cracked phone lights up and he checks it, a message from Renjun.

He sighs and turns his phone off before grabbing a large coat and some other necessities. He makes sure the door to his room was locked and pushes his small dresser to block it.

He opens the window and shivers at the cold wind, it was already 6 pm and he had chips for dinner. Jeno looks around and carefully jumps off the window and runs to the bar.

Jeno arrives at the bar and already feels sick, sure he's been working here for quite some time now but that doesn't mean he's used to the smell.

He sees guys already checking him out and he bumps into his coworker, Doyoung, "hyung!" The elder smiles and hugs him before leading him to the dressing room.

"How was school?" Doyoung asked as Jeno was changing into his revealing outfit. He shrugs and puts on his fishnets and heels.

"Same old, but with a new friend" he replied as his other coworker, Ten, walks in with a few hickeys already visible.

"That's good–" Doyoung said and was pushed aside getting cut offed.

"Nono!" He rushes and hugs the younger tightly, he released him with Doyoung pulling him away, afraid his favorite kid will suffocate and might have to kill Ten himself.

Ten and Doyoung didn't ask any further, they learned not to as it will pressure Jeno, they'll know when the boy is ready.

They help him with a light makeup cover, since Ten himself had bragged a billion times how Jeno doesn't even need it, He's so pretty and wants to carve his face out to put it on his.

Doyoung and Ten spent a few good minutes bickering on which lipstick color to use, "pink is hot!" Ten said.

"Why don't we go for natural? Nude is pretty too!" The elder argued, Ten wasn't having it and neither was Doyoung, they continued until Jeno spoke up.

"How about I'll just not wear one," he said shyly, they both silenced themselves and mutters a few agreements, they nodded and smiled at him as the boy sighed in relief.

Their boss, coincidentally Ten's sugar daddy, Johnny Seo enters and reminds them that it's time. They all nodded and Doyoung wishes him goodluck on the way out, leaving Ten to whatever he's doing with Johnny.

They parted ways when a guy, Jaehyun, had booked a service with Doyoung. Jeno looks around and crack his knuckles, "let's get this over with," right on time, a guy with a tattoo on his arm calls him and he walks over, following him to another room.

Jeno wakes up late and rushes to change to his usual wear, he rushes out of the house and ignoring Donghyuck eating some waffles on the table.

He frowns when the old lady wasn't working today, instead her granddaughter, Irene, was there. But it seems like the bakery was busy so he walks passed it and heads to school.

He sees Renjun at the gate and waves at him, the elder runs and hugs him tight making him wince in pain. "Shit sorry," the dark haired boy apologizes and pulls away.

Jeno rubs his side a little, "it's okay," he smiles reassuringly, Renjun helps him with his things with not so much protest. Damn him.

They walk inside and heads to Jeno's locker, they whispered a little about what happened in Jeno's shift last night and Renjun feels bad, he nodded along understandingly and gasps when in the blink of an eye, Jeno was on the ground again.

He looks up to see Jaemin's girlfriend, Hana, glaring at him. Renjun helps him up and Jeno bows as he apologized, but Hana suddenly screams as she cries dramatically.

They wince and Jaemin rushes over to his girlfriend calming her down, "what happened baby?" He asked gently hugging her, Renjun scrunched his nose cringing. Hetero shit.

"He pushed me!" She pointed at them, Jaemin got confused on to which one.

"Which one darling?" Renjun wanted to puke as Jeno just grabbed his arm, there were already eyes on them and he feels very insecure, anxiety bubbling up.

"Babe, the freak pushed me!" She screams as Jaemin hugs her, he then glares at Jeno who widens his eyes. Jeongin, one of Jaemin's friend, rushed over to comfort Hana.

In a weird way, Renjun noticed how she calmed down almost immediately, well it's not like she was actually crying, but she was like tamed so easily.

Jaemin grabs Jeno on the collar of his shirt and pushed him against the wall, the boy hissed in pain especially on his lower part, Renjun widens his eyes and sees Donghyuck walking over as well.

"What the fuck did you push my girlfriend for you bitch?!" Jaemin raised his voice, Jeno flinches and shakes as he tries to pull away while shaking his head.

"I-I d-didn't–" he stutters and Jaemin mocks him.

"I d-didn't– Speak up you little shit!" He said angrily as Renjun was scoffing at him.

"He didn't even do anything!" Renjun said, Jaemin turns to him scowling, he scowled back as Hana was glaring at Jeno while she was in Jeongin's arms.

"Stop lying!" She said, Renjun turns to her and glares crossing his arms.

"You stop lying bitch!" She gasps and cries again, louder this time, "oh please, cry all you want, you pushed Jeno," he retorts.

Jaemin ignored them and started choking Jeno making him struggle even more, Renjun snaps his head and huffs angrily before marching towards the caramel haired and pushing him away.

Jeno gasps as he sinks down onto the floor and regains his breath, Renjun starts yelling at the bullies, "can you guys fuck off? Jeno was fucking innocent, stop making shit twisted!" He said.

Jaemin was about to punch him but Donghyuck pulled his arm away, "let's go, deal with them later," he said.

Jaemin turns to Jeno and spits at him, the boy scrunched his nose in disgust as the caramel haired turns away as he grabs his girlfriend, The four of them leave and Renjun sees the students recording them.

"Scram!" He said and flips them off, he goes to Jeno and helps him up, the boy muttering a thanks when he wipes the spit away, "those bitches are getting on my nerves."

Jeno sighs tiredly and holds his bag, "let's get to class, we're already late," he said as Renjun drapes an arm around his back to help him as he caressed it, trying to soothe the pain.

They arrive at the classroom and gets scolded for being late, it was normal for Jeno, Renjun guesses since the boy was calm but still embarrassed.

"We just had a few– things we ran into that held us back, we're sorry Mrs. Park," Renjun covers them up as Jeno looks up at him with wonder.

The teacher sighs and lets them slide for now, they bowed and heads to their seat at the very back. Jeno still wincing at the pain of his body now worst because of Jaemin.
