CLAN NEWS

Ashenlake, Owlbreeze, Hollowthorn, Ravengaze, and Willowbreeze set out to investigate the unknown cave yesterday. Unfortunately, they walked right into a sleeping bear's cave, who was very unhappy about being disturbed. It quickly killed Owlbreeze, Hollowthorn, Ashenlake, and Willowbreeze and left Ravengaze severely injured.

Sleekkit, Honeykit, Blizzardkit, Sandkit, Redkit, Sagekit, and Nectarkit are ready to become apprentices! They can rank up using the command /rank up to apprentice or /rank up to medicine cat apprentice.

Palekit, Rosekit, Dancingkit, and Tundrakit, now Palepaw, Rosepaw, Dancingpaw, and Tundrapaw have ranked up to warrior and medicine cat apprentices! Their mentors are Mistglade, Ravengaze, Larkfeather, and Silverstream, respectively.

Ambermoon and Moonwatcher have returned to their warrior ranks.

UnitedClan's territory lies in a redwood forest on the coastal side of some mountains overlooking the ocean. At the edge of the forest, there is a cliff with ledges to allow cats to climb on. At the base of the cliff is a lake surrounded by more redwood trees. The redwood trees are fire resistant with plenty of herbs and undergrowth for prey and cats to hide in. There is a river leading away from the lake and camp to a waterfall. Behind the waterfall is a cave where the moonpool is located.

UnitedClan's camp is located in a small clearing surrounded by redwoods on three sides and the cliff on the other. It is close to the lake for easy water access. The leader, warriors, apprentices, and medicine cats dens are hollowed out redwoods trees. The nursery is a bramble thicket that is padded on the inside so kits don't hurt themselves. Additional dens can be made using bushes and brambles. Nests are usually made out of feathers, ferns, and moss. The leader makes their announcements on a large boulder near the cliff.

Territory landmarks include: the cliff that rises up above the trees, allowing cats to get a good look over the territory, the lake, often called Star Lake, close to camp that reflects the stars and moon on the sky, a crooked tree near the edge of the territory that acts as an easily identifiable landmark, the waterfall by the moonpool that is a popular hangout spot for cats, and a clearing close to camp with many fallen trees that apprentices can play around.
