"Where are we going?"

"You'll see."

He looks at me and gives me a once over again. And I blush like I did the previous many times.
Jake being the gentleman he is, opens the car door for me before I could help myself. I get into his car and keep my eyes trained on him as he rounds the car and sits in the driver's seat.  Yeah be a creep. Good going Roxy... Shut up!

He starts driving and I turn the radio on.  He keeps giving me those looks which makes me feel things, making me want to pounce on him.

“Why do you keep looking at me like that?”, I finally ask him no longer able to keep it inside me.

“Like what?” He looks back to the road while trying to hide his knowing smile by biting his lip. God I want to kiss those lips. He glances back at me, suggestively.

“Like.. Like that...” Stuttering now? Really? You've got it bad Roxy. Really really bad.

“I'm just liking the fact that you're sitting next to me and that I can touch you. Hold your hand in mine. Kiss it. Feel you. I like the fact that I'm not just talking on the phone with you.. That you're actually here with me, in the flesh, looking like that...” his eyes once again going over me before backing to the road. Taking my hand in his he kisses the back of it, giving me tingles all over my body.

I couldn't say anything to that. Squeezing his hand gently, I smile at him. The whole ride, he never left my hand , drawing circles on it, playing with my fingers, my ring...

We reach The Chef's Choice, it is a pretty decent restaurant. I've heard the food is amazing here and its nothing too flashy. Just the perfect place. Good choice.

I get out of the car before he could open the door for me, making him pout. I burst out laughing.

“I'm trying to be a gentleman here... ” He complains.

“Oh Jakie... Don't sulk. You'll get more opportunities to be a gentleman.” I say chuckling.

He rolls his eyes at me, grabs my hand and leads us to the door. 

And like a perfect gentleman he is, he opened the door for me and let me in first. We sit in the corner booth and order.

“I'll have a cheese burger, with a side of fries and a large coke please.”

Jake orders chicken noodles with a coke. As we wait for our orders, Jake takes my hand across the table and says, “Can I tell you something?”

“Sure.”

“Roxy.. I really don't want to deceive you or anything before it's too late, that's why I want to clear that I don't want anything serious right now. It's just that I'm not ready yet and I don't want you to get your hopes up. I don't know about the future but right now I can't commit. Please don't hate me, I'm just telling you beforehand what to expect from me.” He says looking at me inquisitively.

“Ohhh... ” I take a moment to process what he just said. Nothing serious. Can't commit. It's reasonable though. I don't want to repeat my mistakes and ruin this too. So it's better that way.

“Say something.” he eyes me worriedly.

“Ohh sorry. I was just processing what you said. Umm okay. I understand. Even I'm vary of relationships still.... ” I chuckle before continuing, “...so it's alright. Nothing serious for the moment. ” I smile at him, taking in his wide-eyed expressions.

“Jake?”

“I wasn't expecting you to be that understanding. I thought you were going to throw something at me. You took it exceptionally well. That's a first for me.”  he says, still in awe.

I hit is arm, narrowing my eyes at him. “Hey, I can take offense to that you know. And besides not everyone can be like me.” I reply cockily.

He starts to chuckle. We begin a light conversation after that while we ate. He told me about his meeting and what it was about. Then we talked a little bit about ourselves, just some random stuff.

After we finished, we went to the movie theatre. We chose the movie randomly and decided on watching Black Widow. We grab our popcorn and drinks and sit through the movie. When the movie ended, we walked to the ice cream parlor, next to the theatre and ordered our desserts. We sit in silence as we enjoy our ice-creams.  After we are done, it is already past 10. Jake drives me home and I feel a little upset that this date is coming to an end. As we reach, we're both screaming songs, laughing and acting like complete lunatics. This is the best day of my life so far. I feel alive in his presence.

Once we reach my apartment, I invite Jake in, not yet ready to part with him. He eagerly joins me and I think he is feeling the same.  I show him around the place, and after a grand tour of my tiny little apartment, we sit on the couch sipping on the wine.

“So when will I get to meet the cheeky little devil who set me up with you?” He asks about Elle.

I burst out laughing at Jake's on point description of Elle. She is a cheeky little devil.

“Elle is taking a trip with her father to Disney World, so you'll have to wait till you meet her. And by the way, you better get her loads of chocolates as a thanks or else say goodbye to your shins. She specifically asked me to inform you.” I laugh at Jake's mock horrified face at Elle's specific instructions.

“What an outrageous demand!!! I will not be manipulated like that. And what does she mean by "say goodbye to your shins". Should I be scared for my life?” He asks.

“Care to find out?” I tease him further.

“No. I like myself alive, I'll get the devil's spawn the chocolates she desires.” He says shaking his head.

I roll my eyes at him. What a dramatic ass. Dramatic but adorable. I smile at that thought.

“Awe... Is Jakie-boy scared of what a little 4 year old might do to him if he doesn't comply to her demands?” I tease him in a baby voice, then bursting out laughing, clutching my stomach at his expression.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, I was lying flat on my back on the couch with a very serious looking Jake on top of me, holding me down. Damn...

“I warned you Roxy, I warned you not to call me that again... Remember my promise?” he says seductively.

I know he is just playing with me. But the way he said those words and the position we are in, made heat pool between my legs. Fuck.... I'm going to kiss him. I want to.

I notice his eyes change in color. His pupils dilated and the color around his baby blues darkened into almost the darkest shade of blue. He licked his bottom lip in that seductive manner continuing to drive me crazy. My eyes stay glued to his plump, pink, kissable lips.

“Eyes up here baby...” he murmurs huskily.

I look back into his eyes. God, he looks so magnificent..

“Don't call me that again or I'm not responsible for the consequences later...” his eyes now glued to my lips.

My chest heave with anticipation and with all the tension in the air, I can't hold back but provoke him... Kiss him girl! Kiss himmm.....

“Jakie-boy...” I challenge him, his name came out sexy and all breathy...

And with that, he let go of all the restraint he had left. He leans down and captures my lips into a slow, punishing kiss.

Holy mother of.... Fuck. There goes the fireworks.
