Y/N's POV:

We opened the door. I was still hesitant because of what had happened before. in that room I saw the same chariot Lady Palutena had been looking at.

"The Lightning chariot." Pit whispered in awe. He smiled then looked around a bit confused "What's wrong?" I ask him. "Where are Phos and Lux?" He asks back I'm confused "Phos, Lux?" I look at him quizzically.

"Yeah the horses of the lightning chariot." he answers still looking around "Can't you put any horses on the chariot?" I ask. He shakes his head "Then it won't work." he then points at a piece of paper "Maybe that will lead us to them." he takes it down from the wall and he reads aloud.

"Looking foe the horses? The real trial is yet to come. Open the doors to the next room and you will find the two horses, or they will find you......"

"That was creepy." he says "We probably have to fight something." I add holding my dagger and scimitar. "Please don't be a hydra. Please don't be a hydra." I mutter under my breath.

Pit pushes the doors open.

It's a hydra.

"Phos! Lux!" Pit yells "How did they turn into a hydra?!" he looks at me I shrug. "Get ready!" I say. The hydra sees us thanks to Pit and gives a great big roar. I hate hydras. It swings it's tail at us I jump up in time Pit's not so lucky.

It turns to me and opens it's mouth. Great I dodge as fast as I can and I can feel the flames behind me. Pit creeps up behind it and holds his dagger up about to slice it's neck "PIT STOP!!" I yell but it's no use.

He slices it and instead of having two heads, it has five.

"PIT YOU IDIOT!" I screech my leg hurting because of all the running. He looks at me in panic "I didn't know it could do that!" he yelled back. "OF COURSE IT CAN IT'S A HYDRA!!!" the dragon roars in fury and rounds on pit.

Great.

I get the dagger f shadows and stab at the hydra it has little affects but at least it stopped it turned to me. I use the scimitar to speed me up and I run behind him Pit is still getting up. I keep stabbing and dodging. My moves get sloppier and sloppier and slower and slower as my energy starts to drain. Not again!

The hydra bats me away with it's great big fore arm and I get flung landing on my bad leg. I grit my teeth to keep in the string of curses. The hydra turns to me and gives me an intense stare.

I feel my stomach drop to the ground as I see the anger in it's eyes. It hits me with it's tail and I drop my weapons. I back away, defenceless. it opens it's mouth, I can't escape. I gulp as I realise it has cornered me. I guess this is the end, I close my eyes tightly.

"NOPE!"

The flames never come and instead I hear Pit. I quickly open my eyes and see Pit slashing at the hydra's eyes.

So that's what he was doing all this time!

I hurriedly back away from the corner happy that I am somehow still alive. I take my scimitar and slash at it's four legs. The hydra roars in agony. I feel bad for a second, torturing this sweet innocent animal. Then again this 'sweet innocent animal' tried to kill me.

The dragon has me in it's sights but Pit distracts it by coming up behind it "OVER HERE YOU GINORMOUS FLAMETHROWER LIZARD!!!" the dragon is now very confused wether to hurt me or Pit.

Of course it decides to turn to me.

I dodge out of the way of the flames relieved that I am not a BurntSFA Pit runs to me and we finish it off. We drive our weapons into the heart of the hydra. And all is quiet.

It lets out an agonising roar and drops down with a ground shaking THUD. Dust and smoke fly up and I cough waving it out of my face.

In place of the hydra are two majestic horses. Pit immediately runs to them the child that her is and starts petting them talking to them in a baby voice. I take a step towards the horses wanting to see them and take a closer look.

(AN: But god said "NO!")

My leg gives out a sharp pain and I stumble in shock and pain. my leg collapses under me and I fall along with it.

Goodbye cruel world......

Pit's POV:

THUD-

I quickly turn around thinking the hydra was back but I see nothing just Y/N on the floor...

WAIT! Y/N ON THE FLOOR!!!

I run towards her "Y/N!" I get down on my knees next to her "Don't tell me you fainted again! Wait how can you?! You're unconscious!" I panic. did the dragon/ hydra hurt her?! Is she gonna die?! Am I gonna die?!

"I'M NOT DEAD PIT!" she yells at me trying to sit up. Oh I didn't notice that her eyes were open, oops. "I can't get up! I think it happened when the hydra hit me with it's leg. Is it bad?" she asks me.

I take a look, the bandage is missing and there is new blood pouring out. Plus the leg is twisted at an unnatural angle.

"I think it's broken." I state

"WHAT?!" she yells giving me a sharp look.

"How am I gonna train?! How will I fight Hades?! How am I gonna get back?!" She wails her eyes teary.

Nice going Pit

I really messed up

Now she's mad at you, Pit

Oh no!

Yeah, Pit, she probably hates you!

You think so??

Yup you are totally gonna get fired!

OH FRICK!

Give her a hug man!

Wh-what?? W-why..?

To make her feel better idiot!

Why do you sound so much like dark?

That's because I am DARK!

How is that possible?

I don't know! We couldn't contact you, then suddenly we could!

Oh probably because we got the chariot!

Just make her feel better or else I'll tell Lady Palutena you made Y/N cry!

OK OK!

I turn back to Y/N who has her head hidden in her hands.

"It's ok Y/N! Lady Palutena can fix it easily! You'll be back up in a day!" I try to cheer her up. It's still not working. DARK what do I do?!

FOR THE LAST TIME IDIOT! HUG HER OR SOMETHING!!

ok.

I hesitantly give her a hug, I have no idea why I'm blushing. Maybe I'm sick! Maybe Y/N's sick! Maybe It's too hot! Maybe all that floor ice cream! Yeah, that's probably it. It's not that I like her or anything...

"Thanks Pit." Y/N pulls back looking away.

"I'll be back!" I smile and go off to lead Phos and Lux to the chariot. I come back as fast as I can and take them to Y/N. I get down to lift her up but she declines "I might be able to do it myself." is what she says. I back off still a bit skeptical.

She manages to get up but I cans that it's hurting her, she takes a step forward but stumbles with a yelp. I quickly steady her "Need any help...?" I smirk. "Fine..." She rolls her eyes. I lift her up and put her down on the chariot seat as gently as I can. Looks like it wasn't gently enough!

"Watch it!" Y/N snaps "Sorry!!" I squeak a bit scared. I get on and hold the reins in my hand and look back at her.

"You might want to hold on!"

Sorry for not updating yesterday, I wasn't feeling very motivated. So to make up for it I made an extra long chapter: 1323 words! I will start the next chapter today and who knows, I might finish it. Though the next chapter will be finished and posted by the end of tomorrow. Thanks a lot for reading! I appreciate it! Stay safe!
