(Ash's POV)

I was in history class, trying to make it look like I was paying attention to the teacher. Instead I drew some pokémon in my workbook. Drew was next to me, not even trying to look interested. He looked my way and grinned when he saw my bad drawing of a Koffing. I glared at him.

"And there was a..."the teacher said in slow motion. Then the bell rang and everybody packed their bags. "Don't forget... to make exercise 30 to..." I'm sure that my mind was just making him talk in slow motion, but it was still very funny. We were already in the halls before the teacher could finish his sentence.

"Finally."I sighed. Drew could only grin. Gary and Leaf came out of the other classroom arguing about what happened in the canteen.

"That happened two hours ago."Drew said annoyed. "Get over it!"

"He KISSED me!"Leaf screamed to Drew.

"On the cheek."Drew said rolling his eyes. I chuckled.

"Oh come on, Leaf."I said smirking at her. "I don't believe you didn't have a little fun slapping Gary."

Leaf chuckled. "You're right. I did have fun slapping him."

Leaf walked away to Dawn and Misty. "She likes me."Gary said with confidence.

"You sure?"I asked.

"Of course!"Gary said smirking. "She just doesn't know it herself." Drew laughed and I soon laughed with him. Gary just murmured some insults and we walked to the canteen. Paul was already there with crossed arms. I stood next to May in the line for food.

"I would like some bread, a hamburger, a sandwich and... oooh! A brownie! And I want a banana smoothie."she said without breathing between the sentences. I chuckled.

"I know you two years and I've never noticed you were such a fan of food." May smiled. "For me a strawberry smoothie with a cheeseburger, apple pie, some cherries and pizza bread."

"You're a food fan too?!"May asked with sparkling eyes. I nodded and smiled lightly. "I never thought there was anyone eating as much as I do." I chuckled paying my lunch. May also gave her money and asked if I would sit with her and her friends.

I chuckled. "I'm sorry, but I'm not interested in talking about makeup. But we could go to that new cafe if you'd like?"

May nodded. "Yeah, that sounds great! Though we don't talk about makeup." I smiled. "What do you think about next Saturday."

"Er... I can't. But the week after would be okay!"

May smiled brightly gave a slight nod and than ran to her friends. I sat next to Gary who smirked at me.

"Did I just hear you get a date?"he said. I chuckled.

"Gary if you go to a cafe with a girl it isn't necessarily a date."I said.

"That's alright. Just don't tell Drew. I see him look at her all the time." I chuckled looking at Drew still being busy buying some food.

(Drew's POV)

I gave some money and tried to walk to my friends, but Brianna blocked my way.

"Brianna can you please...?"I said trying to get past her.

"Be your girlfriend? Oh. My. God. Yes!"she screamed. Some people looked at us. I just rolled my eyes.

"That wasn't what I meant."I said, now standing still.

"Of course it was!"Brianna said. I tried to get past her once more, but she blocked me easily. "Drewy, I love you."

I could only give her a disgusted face. "Brianna..." Brianna gave me a hopeful look. "Could you please step aside." She looked surprised and finally stopped blocking me. I left her, though I just knew she was staring at me with an open mouth.

"What was that all about?"Ash asked.

"Nothing."I said and flipped my hair.

( time skip )

The whole class was making new combinations or busy perfecting the old ones. Roselia did a wonderful job with a new combination I just came up with.

"Nice job, Roselia. Keep that up!"I said giving Roselia a smile. I looked at the others. Dawn and Kenny were practicing together while May was letting her Beautifly fly around. I hated to admit she was getting better, I had to keep up. "Okay Roselia. Let's do this again."

The teacher came by me and looked at Roselia's performance. He nodded. "Well done boy. I'm sure you'll turn out to be a great coordinator."the teacher said.

I flipped my hair. "Did you expect anything else?"I said, the teacher gave me a hint of a smile and walked over to May.

"Your Beautifly is out of position and the combination could use something... more."the teacher said. May bit her lip and gave a slight nod. I didn't really knew why, but my hands turned into fists. I quickly turned around and gave Roselia the sign.

Than some idiot called out his Tauros that he couldn't control. The Tauros ran around making some people scream and most of them hid. Some were a little too late and got hurt. The Tauros was moving fast and straight to May. I yelled her name and ran to her. I couldn't make it running so I jumped, putting my arms around her to dodge the Tauros. I quickly turned around so May wouldn't get hit on the ground. I fell with my back on the ground and groaned. I soon realised I still had my arms around May and quickly let go of her.

"T-thanks."she stuttered.

I blushed. "Couldn't let you get hurt by a Tauros."I said flipping my hair. "You're brain is already damaged too much." May got red from anger.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!"she screamed. I smirked at her. "I WILL SHOW YOU WHO'S BRAINLESS!!"

The Tauros had finally returned to it's pokéball. May had gone silent but was still red from anger. The teacher had left the classroom so some people screamed class had ended. I ran outside to the garden. There Roselia and I could train without anyone disturbing us.

I'm so sorry. I wanted to make this chapter a little longer, but I thought this was the right moment to quit. Remember I only know Drew and May from other Wattpad stories. Next chapter I try making a Pokéshipping chapter, though it isn't as easy to pick the right moments. Also I wanted to thank you, again.
