I don't get why books are made into movies but not TV shows???

One chapter = One episode

One book= One season

It just makes a lot more sense.

A/N: I mean they turned TMI into a tv series but that was a huge flop like the movie (to all the Shadowhunters fans I'm not hating on the cast or anything —I love the cast, especially Kat 😍— I just don't like the tv show's version of the plot)
