Abel and the Gang/Brightfrost's Plan

Brightfrost woke up, she padded out of the den and her thoughts swirled,I am deputy now! Soon to be leader! Starlingpaw gave Brightfrost a stare and turned away.

" Crowmoon, You will lead a hunting patrol, Take any cat with you. Try umm... Fallen Pines." Brightfrost mewed as Crowmoon nodded as Poppyshine padded into camp, exhausted from her vigil and she disappeared into den. Brookleap and Mapleleaf sat in clearing, talking, Brightfrost decided to eavesdrop and listened. " Needlestar only has 3 lives left" Sighed Mapleleaf, " By time we reach our new home, He may join our ancestors."

Brookleap nodded in agreement as Brightfrost looked around and run off to forest, prey scent hit her nose. She crouched and crept,her tail slashing slightly above the ground, She pounced and gave a mouse ,the swift bite. Brightfrost padded, getting lost in her thoughts as mouse dangled from her jaws, Once I get rid of that pesky Needlestar.. I will rule the clan! She  snapped back as she ran into Elmpaw who jumped, "O-oh sorry" He mumbled as he darted off.

Brightfrost entered the camp, and tossed her mouse on pile, digging around for something to eat, There seems to be barely anything on pile these days. Brightfrost dragged out a minnow and shrugged, taking few bites and burying it. Crowmoon and his cats only returned with two mice and robin, " You guys had better luck than me, I only caught a mouse." Brightfrost purred as Crowmoon mewed " We all got something, Right?" As Brightfrost nodded. Amberpaw came out with stick that has moss soaked in mouse bile, and Starlingpaw was giving a Poppy seeds to Poppyshine who had trouble, sleeping due to a pain in her back.

As Brightfrost headed to Leader's den for a meeting, (Poppyshine and Starlingpaw time) Starlingpaw dropped the seed and spoke " Brightfrost is up to something.. I know it!" As Poppyshine flashed her a confused look, " Have you been eating alright?" Poppyshine joked. " This is serious!" Starlingpaw growled , heart beating.

 " Just be careful okay?" Starlingpaw warned as she padded doff to her den, Poppyshine rested her head on soft moss and feathers as she rested. Starlingpaw inhaled and exhaled her nervousness as this was her last moon as 'paw'  she revive her full medicine cat name!  Starlingpaw arrived at her den, Mapleleaf arrived behind her as Starlingpaw started to look at all herbs,  " Herb gathering." Mapleleaf purred, her tail swishing in way of the exit.

Mapleleaf padded to cave, a large wide crack  was above the cave, small platform,  Two marigold grew, Twolegs must've been careless and spill few seeds. Marigold's roots stuck out and orangis fire flower grew tall and healthy. Without thinking, Starlingpaw jolted forward and shot up slope where marigold was growing., climbing and parting land off side of cave, She jumped at last moment and gripped her teeth on stem as her paws held tight on flower, her hind paws slipped as flower let go of land it grew on, letting Starlingpaw fall as Mapleleaf was paralyzed in fear, her eyes watching her apprentice fall.

THUD! Mapleleaf saw Starlingpaw, blood slithered down the ground, during her fall, her shoulder was bleeding. A sharp rock stuck out of slope, tip was covered in blood, dripping down. Starlingpaw let marigold drop from her jaws as her body flopped on one side, Mapleleaf pressed her nose against faint breathing body, letting a sigh of relief. She heaved Starlingpaw on her back and  dragged herself back to camp. (Starlingpaw POV)  I spotted some marigold growing in such a strange spot, without thinking or even asking Mapleleaf, I run and clamber over rocky slope, I jump and grip the flower, realization slapped me as I fell and fear clung on my heart. I felt a something sliced my shoulder, before I knew it , nothing but dark black consumed me. 

I wake, marigold was sitting a few kit-steps away as I try to move, pain shot through me, I yowl in pain. Two cats come rushing in, Mapleleaf dashed to my side, Poppyshine pursued behind. I moaned and faint as world blurs and vanishes. I wake up, this is not den, I was out in forest, telling by smell, a clear waterfall rushing down as mysterious cat was sitting, looking at me. I gulp and rose on my paws, This definitely a dream, my wound is gone and I don't see any of clanmates anywhere! " W-who are you?" I ask as cat opens their mouth " I don't blame you for not knowing who I am... I am your mother."  ginger tabby she cat looked at Starlingpaw, " Impossible! Your lying!!" Starlingpaw growled, her claws scraping the ground. " No.. My name is Meadow... I had no name before but your father named me before he died. His name was  Marsh. You had brother name Mud but a fox took him away.. I am sorry you must live through this.." Meadow meowed before disappearing, Meadow whispered something " Your name was Bird and your sister was Sun, Your blood doesn't matter what does is loyalty you show your clan.., I love you!"

Shadowglow woke up, her fur rising as she realize the others were missing. She jumped on her paws with worry and dart out to find her friends coming back from hunting, " We went hunting, and we didn't want to wake you." Troutfoot mewed, his voice muffled by fur of  a vole, as Flamepaw carried a Chub in her jaws.

After a group ate up, they rose up with full bellies and said their goodbyes to Moss and Ink. " Bye! Thanks for everything!!" Flamepaw yelled as she turned her head. Shadowglow struggled to climb  and as she bumped into tall flat wood, Strong scent of Twolegs made her feel sick to her stomache, " Yuck! Twolegs always smell gross.." Nightpool grunted as he whipped his nose back. " What you wild kitties think" A voice spoke out. Shadowglow jumped and as she bared her teeth, white and shiny teeth gleamed in sun, " No need for violence now!" Hissed another voice, " Who are you?" Troutfoot growled, he was ready to strike. " Not you, We are a us, and us are a we" First voice mewed again. " I am Abel and these two are Cookie and Candy" Abel spat with a threat.  These are cats Moss and Ink told us about!Shadowglow looked at her paws, quickly looking.

" We ask for no harm, we are just passing though for a new home." Troutfoot mewed as Flamepaw shrank back, Abel cast his gaze on Flamepaw. " Ahh, Faith.. Nice to see you again." Abel's words made Flamepaw flinch, " F-faith? Who is that" Flamepaw mumbled, She shook, her fur rising up and down. " Clan catty.. eh?" Mockery bubbled from Candy's voice as she glared at the cats.  Shadowglow shot and stood in front of Flamepaw, " Leave her alone!" Shadowglow snarled, Flamepaw felt her fur lie flat as three cats jumped down from their fence, teeth bared and claws ready to slice, " Is that a threat?" Abel hissed, stepping closer. Flamepaw felt fear chill down her spine. " Attack!" Abel let a battle cry, Shadowglow saw whoosh of brown fur crush her as, face to face with Cookie. Cookie's jaws opened and closed as Shadowglow kicked her in he belly, sending the she cat flying.

Shadowglow got herself up and spotted Abel about to pounce on Troutfoot, She launched herself and pinned to ground as he swatted with paws, He slashed her belly, with his hind paw Shadowglow wailed in pain as she dove her head in and sank her teeth in his throat, Abel let a yowl out and " You.. are mon-" Abel coughed, blood bubbled and oozed from his neck as his last bit of life drained away. "  Abel is dead!!" Cookie yowled, as Shadowglow yanked her head up, Abel's collar was dangled in her teeth as she spat it out. A yowl broke out as Candy let Nightpool's lifeless body drop on ground. Troutfoot whirled around to face his dead clanmates, Nightpool's legs were sprayed and claw marks started from his chest and stopped at his chin.

Night started to come as Troutfoot sat, his ears flatten and sadness filled his eyes " May StarClan treat you well, Old friend." Troutfoot whispered, he lifted paw and pressed against cold fur of Nightpool's dead body, Troutfoot and Shadowglow buried the dead body, and padded off to bush, having small mouse for supper, " Are okay?" Flamepaw asked, Troutfoot jerked his head " You don't know, how it feels to lose a clanmate! You...you.. rogue!" Troutfoot spat angrily, " Plus I can't trust your kind!!" Troutfoot rose and whipped around into shady area of bush, Shadowglow got up and padded to Troutfoot to comfort him, " Sorry.." She murmured to Flamepaw, Flamepaw looked at finch, she was eating, she took one bite and tossed finch away and looked back. Flamepaw gulped and ran off into night. Words repeating in her head I am not needed.. StarClan made a mistake.. I am sorry..sorry! bye...
