A war veteran

"You shouldn't be here" Is what she told me

I was confused on what she told me. What does she mean that I shouldn't be here? I know I was supposed to be dead, but that's not the case

"What do you mean?" I ask the war veteran

"This building is going to explode, lets move out!" She dragged me out of the window, then I heard an explosion behind me

I look at the veteran which she knows on what she's doing, and I am a little bit scared of falling since I have never done this kind of thing before, then we landed safely and I sighed in relief as I look at the veteran again

"What are you doing there?" The veteran asked me

"I don't know, I was trapped for who knows how long, then I woke up to find myself in here when you found me" I answered her question "Are you... A war veteran?"

"No, I'm a T-Doll to fight this War" She told me "We were named after the guns we use"

"So, judging by your gun, your name is ST-AR 15?"

"Yes, that's my name"

"I... See..."

"We should find a place for us to survive, and I'll tell you everything to know about what's going on" Star told me before she drags me to who knows where we're going next

I'm not sure on what to do, but I know is that I have some questions on what she said, but I have to wait about those questions since we're being chased by some four legged robots that appears in groups, and I should question them since we're being chased right now so I look on where she's taking me while being chased by these things

[Timeskip]

We found a uninhabited cabin, and we got inside to rest since we both got exhausted from running away from those things, and when I finally caught my breath, I spoke up to her

"So... Can you tell me what's happening to this place? What are T-Dolls, and what are those things?" I asked Star

"Okay... We're called Tactical Dolls from the Griffin and Kryuger, and our purpose is to fight against the Sangvis Ferri, and we're on a war against Sangvis and I don't know how long this war will last, but if we can't get rid of it... The future of humanity will be lost. Now you tell me about yourself, how did you get here, and who are you?" She said

"My name is Makoto Yuki, and I'm from Japan. I lost my parents on an accident when I was young, and fate gave me a complicated journey in 2009. I became a vessel of death, I joined a team as a field leader of people who can hold Personas to stop the apathy syndrome, while I'm a special case. I can hold multiple Personas as one, and we're called "The Wild Card". And when we reached the final battle, I... Died to protect Humanity, and I was brought there after someone freed me from my seal. That's all, are there more questions?" I ask Star

"Who freed you?" Star asks back, and I answered "I don't know who did, and I thank that someone whoever freed me"

"And... All of that happened 53 years ago" Star said, and that part got me shocked

"53 years ago!? What year is this!?"

"2062"

I look down in despair, knowing that my freedom is in vain. The people I know will be long gone, and I will be left alone. Tears start to form down on my face as I know that I will be left alone once again. Alone... In this war against one organization and the other

"Makoto? What's wrong?" Star asks me, and I said nothing while I look down that I'm alone in this world once again

[ST-AR 15 POV]

I look at Makoto as he's crying so I sat down next to him while he cries about something, then I wrap my arm around his shoulder and I pull him close, and it made him stop crying on whatever he's crying about

I look at him, then I smile

"I don't know why you're crying, but you should know this: I'll be here to lend an ear whenever you cry about something, and I will try to understand the problem and help you solve that problem. I'm here for you from now on, Makoto" I told him, and I look at the wall since we have nothing else to do

Suddenly, his head is laying on my shoulder, so I lay my head on his head while we look at the wall, and I'm planning of our next action on what to do next. I have nothing else to do but I have one thing in mind, so I told Makoto about it

"Wanna travel to Japan, Makoto?" I ask him

"How can we do that?" Makoto asks me back

"We both get deployed by chopper, so I'm planning that we should steal a chopper, then we can travel to back to Japan to experience the times you spent with your friends, while you tell me about all of the things that happened in your home" I said to him

"Sure, I hope some are alive for me to give them a proper goodbye" Makoto said

I hope this plan can work smoothly for him

[Timeskip]

We snuck in to a Sangvis base, then we found a helicopter on its landing pad so we snuck near the helicopter and we got in without being found, but before we get to fly away, I ask Makoto about helicopters

"Can you fly helicopter, Makoto?" I ask Makoto if he knows how to fly one

"No, since I was a student" Makoto replied back

"Well, consider this as your first time flying one as we're about to take off, Makoto" I said while I'm starting the helicopter which it made a loud noise that it attracted the whole sangvis base to this place. I sighed then I took my gun. Before I start to fight, I told Makoto on how to fly a helicopter then the gunfight has begun protecting Makoto as he's trying to fly this vehicle

After that long gunfight, we start to take off, so I continued fighting until we lost the base, so I got back to the other seat, and we both start to fly our way to Japan for Makoto. I look at Makoto and I ask him something

"How was the first time?"

"It would be fine without the bullets flying around, but no. Why do you ask?" Makoto asks and I chuckled "Because you took your sweet time trying to fly this one, and I was almost out of ammo that time, but we should focus on getting us to Japan, heh"

"Yeah..."

[Timeskip, Makoto POV]

After that long flying, we both landed the helicopter somewhere open and hidden for us to come back whenever we need to, then we got off from the helicopter and we head our way to the Iwatodai dorm, since I want to start my reminisce to where it all began

"So, where to start?" Star asks me and I replied "Iwatodai dorm, to where it all started"

"Where is that?"

"Just follow me" I told her while I'm heading my way to the Iwatodai dorm

Tatsumi port island is a huge nostalgia for me ever since the events of what happened back in 2009, and I'm finally coming back for a farewell. I smiled while heading back to the Iwatodai dorm

"What are we going to find in Iwatodai Dorm?" Star asks

"I don't know, so we'll find out" I replied back

[Timeskip]

We finally reached Iwatodai Dorm, and we're both on the front door so I took a sigh then I look at Star before opening the door

"I don't know anyone behind these doors, so we have to be vigilant, and not making any attention so you better hide that gun of yours, Star or we'll be in a big trouble" I told Star

"Alright" She took out a guitar case, and she puts the gun inside the guitar case then she wears the guitar case

I took some deep breaths then I open the doors to see unfamiliar people looking at me, and they're even children. I never felt this pressured before in my whole life so this is a first of the many unfamiliar eyes staring at me. I gulped down then someone spoke up before me

"Are you... What our grandparents told us about? Makoto Yuki?" Someone asked, and I nodded which it made everyone shock then they went to me and bombards me with a lot of questions which it gave me a headache, and I could've heard Star giggling

The questions kept going on and on until someone called the children and an unknown woman shows herself, then she saw me, which it got her dragging the kids to her then backing away from me

"Who are you!? What do you want from us!?" The lady asked. Such a fierce woman

"Nothing, I just wanna know if there's anyone I know in this building" I replied back

"Father, someone is looking for someone!" She yells out and one of the child yelled out "Grandpa Yuki"

"No, Grandpa Yuki is grandfather's frien-

"Makoto Yuki?" I look at someone who called me, and its an old man who looks like he's around his 60's, I think I know him, so I tried looking close at him and I finally recognize who it is, so I called his name

"Ken Amada?"

"Its been 53 years since you were gone from us, we were expecting for you to return back for so long" Ken explains while he goes close to me "And you're finally back, you're back"

"Father" I assume that's his daughter, held him close while she's supporting him to go close to me

"We all missed you" Ken starts to hug me, and I hug him back

"I guess you're the last one to see that I returned, am I correct?" I ask Ken, and he nodded. I knew this is coming

We both let go of the hug, and I pull Star with me

"This is Star, she found me and she took me here to say goodbye to you all. I'll try to visit whenever I can" I said

"Very well, this is my Daughter, Kaoru Amada" Ken said

"Nice to meet you, Makoto Yuki" Kaoru greets me

I look to see that the sun is setting

"Can I stay here for the night?" I ask Ken, and he nodded yet again, so I escorted Star to my old dorm room

[Makoto's Dorm Room]

Who knew that its still the same room that I remembered back then, and there is no lock in my room. I wonder why

"This must be your room, Makoto?" Star asks and I replied "Yep"

Then I look at Star laying on my bed, and there's only one bed. Well I guess I should sleep on the floor then, so I lay down on the floor but Star grabs my arm

"Sleep here" Star says

"But I-

"Please?"

"Fine"

I climbed to my bed, then I lay next to Star. We both look at each other before going to sleep

"What do you think?" I ask Star

"Hmm?"

"The name that I gave you back there?"

"Star? Well it is pretty for you to give me that name since you can combine both ST and AR to make the word 'Star'"

"Good night, Star"

"Good night, Makoto"
