FATE TWISTED BY LOVE

CHAPTER 41

Everything ran in a slow motion in front of Naina's eyes as she saw the love of her life falling in the sea. Without giving a second thought, she too jumped behind him. The most important fact that she missed was she herself didn't know how to swim.

As she crashed in water, she realized what huge mistake she had made. She couldn't swim, she tried to waggle her hands & legs in water, but everything was useless. She prayed to God, "Bhagwaanji... please mere Sameer ko bachaa lena... Kaashh main unhe ek baar dekh paati..."

Naina was almost drowning & had lost all hopes to see her life partner for one last time before she bid goodbye to the world. She thought she won't survive this & prayed for her husband's safety. She struggled hard in water but it was a futile attempt.

When she couldn't breathe anymore & thought that she was about to drown & die, she felt someone's strong hand wrapping around her & she knew by the touch that he was her husband who had come for her rescue.

Losing his balance, Sameer had fallen in the sea while trying to get hold of Naina's dupatta. When he came up for air, he saw someone struggling to swim in the sea. In a second, he knew that it was his wife who was struggling in the middle of the sea as he caught sight of her pink dress.

Sameer instantly swam in her direction & wrapped his hand around her to keep her steady. Pulling her closer, he swam towards the ship. It was difficult for him to swim as he had to hold Naina with his other hand.

As he approached the ship, the security people of the cruise helped them & brought them back inside. Sameer could feel that his wife wasn't in a good shape. He didn't know if he should shout at her first or take care of her.

When Sameer placed his wife on the deck, she had fainted. He tapped her cheeks lightly to wake her up but it was of no use. The other person asked him to apply some pressure on her stomach so the excess water would come out of her body.

He tried it twice & again pressed her stomach for the third time. As all the water came out from her system, she breathed freely & woke up with a scream, "Sameer..."

Sameer breathed in finally after seeing his gorgeous wife awake & safe. He instantly pulled her in his arms & kissed her forehead, "Tum... tum thik ho Naina???" She just hummed in response while he tightened his hold.

Within few minutes, their journey in the bay ended & they were back in their car. Naina was shivering a little due to wet clothes & Sameer kept her close, providing his warmth, though he too was fully wet.

Once they were in their suite, Sameer picked her up in his arms & walked inside the washroom. He slowly lowered her on the ground & whispered, "Main abhi aaya..." He walked towards the bath tub & turned the tap on for warm water.

Within few minutes, the tub was full & he gestured his wife to settle herself in the tub. When Naina made no move to walk towards the tub, Sameer picked her up yet again & lowered her in the warm water.

"Tum thodi der issi garam paani mein rahogi, toh tumhari shivering kamm ho jaayegi." As he turned to go, Naina held his hand, stopping him in his tracks. He controlled himself from turning to her, or else he would lose all his sanity with just one look at her.

But when he heard her sweet voice, he turned. "Sameer... aap... aap bhi kaanp rahe hai..." He knew that he was shivering too. But this hot water in the bath tub wasn't enough to provide him the warmth he required. He needed her, desperately.

Seeing Naina in the bath tub fully soaked ignited some new & unknown sensations in his body which he was trying to control badly. Closing his eyes, he spoke, "Main baahar change kar lunga, tum... tumhe abhi iss garam paani ki jyaada zarurat hai."

But Naina didn't budge, she didn't leave his hand. Instead, she got up & stood in the bath tub. Holding his hand tightly, she mumbled, "Sameer... Aapko bhi thand lag jaayegi, aap... aapko bhi iss garam paani ki zarurat hai."

Naina tugged his hand & Sameer didn't know when his legs moved on its own & he stood facing her. Sameer watched her nervousness & cupped her face between his palms. "Naina... thodi der iss tub mein raho, tumhe accha feel hoga. Please... ab aage kuch mat kehna... main baahar change kar leta hun tab tak."

Naina blinked her eyes as she saw his eyes darkening. Sameer collected a fresh towel & headed outside without a backward glance, he knew if he turned back now, he won't be able to leave her & would end up kissing her senseless.

As Sameer left, Naina took a deep breath & settled in the bath tub. As everything replayed in her mind, she chastised herself, "Kya zarurat thi paani mein kudne ki jab tairna nahi aata? Kya soch rahe honge ki kaisi paagal ladki hai, jisse tairna aata nahi aur chali thi unhe bachaane. Tu na ekdum paagal hai Naina. kuch bhi karne se pehle sochti hi nahi hai."

On the other hand, Sameer wanted to scold her for her recklessness. "Naina aisa kaise kar sakti hai? Jab usse khud swim karna nahi aata toh fir wohh paani mein kudi kyun? Poochna toh padega, main aise hi Naina ki zindagi ke saath compromise nahi kar sakta. Usse samjhaana hoga..."

After few minutes, Sameer heard the click of the washroom door & he froze. The sight that greeted him reminded him of their first meet in the Maheshwari Mansion. Naina was standing in front of him in a towel wrapped around her body & her hair.

In washroom, when Naina realized that she hadn't brought any clothes in there, she didn't have any other option than to wrap the towel around her body. She had thought of asking Sameer to hand her night suit but she didn't have the courage to ask so. She didn't want him to go through her personal stuff.

Making up her mind, she had walked out of the washroom in the towels. Even for doing this, she had needed a lot of courage but she was left with no choice. She too had remembered their first meet when she had stepped out from the washroom.

Both of them reminisced their first meet where both were lost in each other. There wasn't much difference today either. When they had collided in his room in the Maheshwari Mansion, they were strangers but now, the scenario was different. They were tied in the sacred bond of marriage.

But one thing was constant, & that was the attraction they felt towards each other which had now increased manifolds. And also, there were some feelings lingering in their hearts. One was sure of the feelings while the other was scared to accept it. The change was tremendous & it was noticeable to them too.

Sameer gazed at his hot & sexy wife while Naina took few steps towards him anxiously. Keeping a safe distance between them, she spoke, "Sameer... aap... aap bhi fresh ho jaaiye... Main... main... coffee order karti hun..."

Though Sameer wanted to talk to her first but he needed to shower too as he hadn't changed from his damp clothes. Taking the track pants with him, he passed by her, to only stop at the washroom door. Without turning to her, he spoke, "Kuch khaane ko bhi order kar dena..."

As Naina heard the door's click, she exhaled finally. Running towards the wardrobe, she changed into the night suit & ordered for coffee & snacks. Naina was a total mess & sat at the edge of the bed waiting for her husband.

Sameer quickly showered & came out in his black track pants with a towel wrapped around his neck & shoulder. As he came out, he saw his wife sitting at the edge of the bed & fidgeting with her kerchief.

Throwing the towel on the chair, he pulled Naina to him in a swift move. She landed on his chest... bare chest & shivered with that touch. She had many times seen him half naked after his shower but today was different as she was directly in contact with his half naked body.

Sameer too shuddered with that little touch, but he didn't let it show. Holding her in his arms, he asked, "Tum paani mein kyun kudi thi Naina??? Jab tumhe swim karna nahi aata then why did you jump???"

Naina had expected this, but she kept mum as she herself wasn't sure, if she could answer this. Sameer continued, "Tumne ek baar bhi socha ki agar tumhe kuch ho jaata toh? Tumhe kya lagaa ki main paani mein doob jaata?"

"Tum bacchi ho kya Naina ki mujhe tumhe yeh sab samjhaana pad raha hai. Jab tumhe swim karna nahi aata tha toh kyun kudi tum paani mein? Bolo Naina... Mujhe tumhara jawaab sunna hai. Bolo... Why did you jump Naina???"

Naina was frustrated with his continuous questions, so she jerked his hands & came out of his hold. "Kyunki main darr gayi thi Sameer... darr gayi thi main... Aap... aap... mera dupatta pakadne ki wajah se gire the, aur... aur jab maine aap ko girte dekha toh lagaa ki kuch chut raha hai mere haath se, kuch chut raha hai meri zindagi se. Mere saamne main aapko kaise kuch hone deti???"

"Mujhe uss waqt jo sahi lagaa wohh maine kiya... jab aapko girte dekha toh meri saansen hi ruk gayi thi Sameer... main... main aapko bachaana chaahti thi... aur tab mujhe jo thik lagaa wohh maine kiya aur main kud gayi paani mein. Aur agar waapis aisa kuch hua, main tab bhi bina kuch soche aise hi paani mein kud jaaungi aapko bachaane ke liye..."

Closing her eyes, she replayed everything that happened at that time & continued, "Jab paani mein giri tab yaad aaya ki mujhe toh tairna hi nahi aata. Tab mehsoos hua ki shaayad main aapko bachaa nahi sakungi aur... aur... shaayad main aapko ek aakhri baar dekh bhi na paun. Mujhe lagaa ki main marr jaungi, waise bhi meri zindagi ka kya matlab jab main aapki zindagi nahi bachaa sakti?"

Sameer stood stunned hearing her reply. He saw the tears that had made its way from her eyes, it pained him to see that he was the reason behind those tears. She continued, "Maine aapke liye Karwa Chauth ka vrat sirf naam ke liye nahi rakha tha Sameer... Main sach mein aapko bachaana chaahti thi, par... par main bhool gayi... bhool gayi ki mujhe tairna nahi aata. Jab main khudko nahi bachaa sakti thi, toh aapko kaise bachaati?"

She kneeled in front of him & sobbed, "Main bhagwaan se yahi prarthna kar rahi thi ki aapki jaan bacch jaaye... Nanaji ko aapki zarurat hai... Mujhe aaj aisa lagaa jaise maine aapko hamesha hamesha ke liye kho diya, main tab bas itna chaahti thi ki mere marne se pehle main aapko ek baar dekh paati, dekh paati ki aap sahi salamat toh hai..."

Sameer held her sobbing figure & made her stand. Tum important ho, Nanu ke liye aur mere liye bhi."

Tightening his hold, he continued, "You're my friend & my wife Naina... Main tumhe kaise kuch hone deta? Tum... tum kabhi aage se aisa kuch paagalpan mat karna. Samjhi... Mere liye kabhi tum apni zindagi ke saath nahi khelogi. Your life is very important & precious to me Naina... You're important & special..."

Naina rubbed her nose & kissed him on his bare chest while he shivered with that action. Before he could say more, she spoke, "Main aapko kabhi kuch hone nahi dungi Sameer. Aap mere pati hai aur bohot acche dost bhi, toh main meri zindagi se pehle hamesha aapki zindagi ke baare mein hi sochungi."

Though Sameer wanted her to understand that she couldn't place her life above his, but for now, he kept quiet. After staying for few minutes in each other's embrace, Naina moved away feeling a little shy as she realized that he was still shirtless. Sameer caught sight of the red tinge on her cheeks but remained mum.

As Naina was about to walk towards the bed, the doorbell rang announcing the arrival of their coffee & snacks. Sameer collected the order & they sat to have the much-needed meal. As they finished, it was already evening time. Though they had time to go for some sightseeing but Sameer wanted his wife to rest.

Closing the curtains of their suite, Sameer collected few tablets from his bag, "Yeh medicines lo, warna tabiyat kharaab ho jaayegi. Tumhe..." Before he could complete his sentence, Naina started to sneeze which was followed by him.

They looked at each other & broke into peals of laughter. Naina & Sameer took the tablets & rested for the evening in their room. Sameer switched on the television, but nothing caught their interest.

He then played his all-time favourite movie, Maine Pyar Kiya, on his laptop & the couple enjoyed their bed time watching back-to-back movies. It was around ten at night when he opened his eyes to find that both had slept while binge watching the movies.

His eyes turned to find his wife who was sleeping on his chest comfortably. His mind went back to the incident that happened on the cruise. How could she risk her own life for him? Didn't she care about herself? How come she was ready to die while saving his life?

Sameer knew that she was selfless but this wasn't what he had ever thought about. His life was more important for her than her own? She prioritized him before her life. His eyes moistened as his mind wandered towards his own parents.

None of them had thought about him, none of them had ever prioritized him in any matter, expect his Nanu. His own father had kicked them out of his house while his mother died as she couldn't handle that rejection. No one had even thought about him, they didn't even think once about how he would live his life alone.

If not for Nanu & Munna Pandit, he too would've died in depression. And now, there was his wife who was prioritizing him before everyone. The tears made its way in his eyes & he smiled watching his beautiful wife. "Ekdum paagal hai... par bohot acchi hai aur ab wohh meri hai.."

Naina opened her eyes at that precise moment & scrunched her eyebrows as she watched his tears. She got up instantly, "Aap... aap ro kyun rahe hai??? Kya hua??? Aapko kahin lagaa tha kya??? Kaisi biwi aur dost hun main, maine aapko poocha hi nahi ki aapko kahin lagi hai kya. Boliye Sameer... Aapko kahin dard ho raha hai, kahin chot lagi thi kya aapko?"

Her eyes roved on his arms, neck & face to find any traces of hurt from the incident while Sameer watched her fussing over him with a smile. He wiped his tears & pulled her back in his arms, "Mujhe kuch nahi hua hai Naina... Bas pehle ki baatein yaad aa gayi, mummy ki yaad aa gayi, isliye aankhon se aansoon nikal gaye."

Naina felt sad but she had to improve his mood, so she spoke, "Waise mujhe bohot bhook lagi hai... Aapka toh mujhe pataa nahi, par mere pet mein chuhe disco dance kar rahe hai." Sameer chuckled watching her expressions, "Bhook toh mujhe bhi lagi hai, hum movie dekhte dekhte kab so gaye pataa hi nahi chala. Aise karo tum fresh ho jao, main tab tak kuch khaane ko order karta hun."

Naina went to freshen up while Sameer ordered for their dinner. Once they were done with the simple meal, they slept next to each other peacefully.

The next morning, they got up late due to the effect of the medicine. After showering, Sameer spoke, "Naina... Aaj hamara aakhri din hai yahaan. Kal subah ki flight hai hamari. Ummm... toh jahaan bhi jaana ho, aaj ke din mein hi jaana hoga. Toh bolo... tumne socha hai aaj ka aakhri din hum yahaan kaise bitaayenge?"

Naina smiled at her dashing husband & replied, "Aap hi toh mujhe char din se surprises de rahe hai, toh aaj bhi aap hi decide kijiye, hume kahaan jaana hai." Though Sameer had already anticipated this reply, he smiled & agreed, "Thik hai... Aaj hum thodi shopping ke liye jaate hai aur fir shaam ko sab packing bhi kar lenge."

Naina agreed with him & they both got ready for the day. After leaving from the hotel, they had their breakfast first in the nearby restaurant & then headed towards the market.

The couple visited many stores & shopped for variety of things from books to clothes to perfumes to photo frames for Nanu & their friends. When Naina was busy buying some books for herself, Sameer disappeared in the jewellery shop nearby to buy something special for his wife.

Sameer had noticed that she hadn't bought anything for herself except for the books. He had asked her many times but she had smartly avoided him. He had known this & so he remained quiet & didn't bring up the topic of shopping for her again.

While entering the bookstore, he had seen the jewellery shop & had made up his mind for what he had to do. He had something special to buy for her too but that he could do in Ahmedabad too. For now, he concentrated on the large display of jewellery in front of him.

Sameer knew that his beautiful wife loved simple things so he looked around for something that was simple & elegant at the same time as his lovely wife. His eyes fell on a platinum chain which had a tear drop diamond pendant & matching earrings. This was what he wanted for his gorgeous wife that would suit her simplicity.

Sameer didn't have much time, so he paid for that set & rushed to the bookstore where Naina was so lost in the books that she didn't even feel her husband's absence. He sighed in relief as he saw her busy reading some book.

Sameer sneakily hid the jewellery box in one of their shopping bags & asked her, "Naina... tumne decide kar liya ki tumhe kaunsi books chahiye hai?" She turned to him with a huff & spoke, "Aap kahaan the??? Pataa hai main kitni confused hun, mujhe samajh hi nahi aa raha ki main kaunsi book lun? Sab ek se badhkar ek hai."

Sameer took a deep breath & replied, "Main toh wohh... wahaan... uss section mein tha. Main kuch books dekh raha tha, par kuch khaas accha nahi lagaa." He lied on her face & stuttered. But Naina was so busy in the books that she didn't see through his expressions & lying.

After an hour or so, Naina finally selected few books for herself & they left towards their hotel. On the way, they had their lunch in a restaurant. Once they were in their suite, Naina started packing their bags while Sameer hid the jewellery box in his bag before she could see it.

Once they were done, it was already evening. Sameer asked, "Hum thodi der baahar chalein?" Naina agreed, "Haa... ummm... kya hum Golden Gate jaa sakte hai???" He agreed & they freshened up & got ready to leave.

As they reached Golden Gate, Sameer hired a bicycle for an hour & they enjoyed their time riding on it. Naina sat comfortably leaning her back on his chest completely while Sameer couldn't concentrate on anything other than her fragrance & the proximity. This closeness was affecting him a lot.

When their one hour was up, Sameer gave away the rented bicycle while Naina stood near an icecream parlour. She saw Sameer talking on his mobile with someone. She turned to collect ice-creams for them.

When she turned, she saw Sameer still talking on his phone & a big bus was approaching towards him. The bus driver honked multiple times but he was so lost & busy over the call that he didn't hear the incessant honking.

Naina cursed under her breath & ran towards him throwing the ice-creams on the way. When Sameer saw his wife running towards him, he realized that he was crossing the road senselessly.

In a split second, Naina pushed Sameer out of the way of the bus & she too fell down beside him. Though Sameer wasn't hurt much apart from some scratches but Naina was in pain yet again.

Sameer instantly turned to his wife & helped her to get up. He saw that she was holding her arm as if it was paining a lot. Before he could ask her about her wellbeing, she shouted, "Sameer... Aap... aap bacche hai kya? Aapko road cross karna nahi aata kya? Itna kya phone mein busy the ki aapko itni badi bus ki aawaaz tak sunaai nahi di?"

"Wohh bus driver kab se horn bajaaye jaa raha tha aur aap... aap toh uss phone mein hi kho gaye the. Agar... agar aapko kuch ho jaata toh? Toh main kya karti huh? Kya karti main???" Sameer was stunned with her outburst.

When he tried to hold her, she moved away in pain. "Aap... aapko khud ka khayaal zara bhi nahi hai na? Aise kaun road cross karta hai Sameer?" Taking a step towards him, she asked, "Aapko kahin chot toh nahi lagi naa???"

Sameer just shook his head in negation while she dusted his t-shirt & jeans. When Sameer held her hand to stop the dusting, she hissed in pain. Sameer instantly turned her arm & saw her arm swollen.

His anger rose, "Tum paagal ho Naina??? Tum aise kyun bhaagi mujhe bacchane ke liye? Agar tumhe kuch ho jaata toh?" She screamed in reply, "Toh kya main apni aankhon ke saamne aapko bus ke neeche aate dekhti Sameer??? Maine aapko kal bhi kahaa tha aur aaj bhi keh rahi hun, main aapko kabhi kuch hone nahi de sakti."

Sameer lost his control, "Aur agar mujhe bachaane ke chakkar mein tumhe kuch ho jaaye yaa tumhari jaan chali jaaye toh chalega???" Naina's eyes misted instantly & she replied in clear voice, "Haannn... aapko bachaate waqt agar meri jaan bhi chali jaaye toh main khushi khushi marne ko taiyaar hun Sameer. Aap hamesha meri jaan se pehle rahenge, hamesha..."

His eyes darted towards her forehead which had started bleeding. He immediately picked her up in his arms & walked towards their waiting car. She shrieked in his arms but he didn't listen to her protests.

Sameer instructed the driver to take them to a clinic nearby where they could have a check on Naina & her wounds. Throughout the ride, she kept cursing some or the other thing. Sameer was angry on her but more than that he was angry on himself.

How could he be so irresponsible & negligent that he didn't hear the honking of the bus? This was the second time that she had done something to save his life. He cursed himself some more & the car stopped in front of the clinic.

Sameer didn't say much but his one glance was enough for Naina to come out of the car without making any scene. Luckily there weren't much appointments & they met the doctor in the next half an hour.

The doctor examined Naina & cleaned her wounds. He applied bandage on her forehead & prescribed some medicines for her swollen arm, it was just a minor sprain & it would heal in few days.

Once done in the clinic, the couple headed towards their suite. No one spoke anything. There was complete silence when they reached their room. Without saying anything, Sameer collected his change of clothes & marched towards the washroom.

Naina sat down on the bed & touched the bandage on her forehead. She mumbled to herself, "Aaj agar main time par Sameer ko dhakka nahi maarti toh pataa nahi kya ho jaata? Sameer bhi na zara bhi dhyaan nahi dete hai aajkal. Pataa nahi dhyaan kahaan hota hai."

"Ahmedabad jaate hi unki nazar utaarni padegi. Kal paani mein gir gaye aur aaj yeh accident... Agar Nanaji ko pataa chala toh pataa nahi kitni daant khayenge Sameer???"

While she was mumbling to herself, she didn't hear the click of the washroom door. Her handsome husband had heard her mumbling & replied, "Acchaa... toh Nanu sirf mujhe daantenge... tumhe nahi??? Tumne toh bohot samajhdaari ka kaam kiya hai na, toh tumhe kyun daantenge. Kyun???"

Naina got up from the bed & stood facing him. The tears that she was holding till now were finally back & she replied in a choked voice, "Sameer... Jab maine aapko uss bus ke raaste mein khade dekha toh meri jaan hi nikal gayi thi. Main... main bohot darr gayi thi, par pataa nahi kahaan se mujhe itni himmat mili ki main aapki taraf daud padi aur aapko sahi time par dhakka de diya."

Sameer closed the distance between them & wiped her tears, "Aur agar tumhe kuch ho jaata toh Naina? Tumhe kya lagta hai ki mujhe tumhari parwaah nahi hai? Tumhari iss chot se mujhe koi farak nahi padd raha?"

Sameer touched the bandage on her forehead & his eyes misted. Touching her swollen arm, he spoke, "Jitna dard tumhe meri chot se lagta hai na, usse kai jyaada dard mujhe hota hai jab main tumhe rote hue dekhta hun, tumhe dard mein dekhta hun. Yeh chot meri wajah se lagi hai tumhe."

"Main tumhara pati hun, mujhe tumhari raksha karni chahiye, tumhara khayaal rakhna chahiye. Par peechle do dino se tum meri jaan bachaa rahi ho, tum meri raksha kar rahi ho, tum mera khayaal rakh rahi ho Naina..."

"I'm sorry Naina... Main client se baat karne mein itna busy ho gaya ki pataa hi nahi chala ki kab bus mere saamne thi. Thank you Naina... aaj tumne meri jaan bachaayi hai. Par aage se aisa koi stunt mat karna jisse tumhe kuch ho jaaye, tumhe chot lage."

"Jab tumhe chot lagti hai na, toh dard mujhe bhi hota hai Naina. Tumhare har aansoon se mujhe taklif hoti hai. Please aage se aisa kuch mat karna jisse tumhari jaan ko khatra ho. Meri wajah se agar tumhe kuch ho gaya toh main khudko kabhi maaf nahi kar paaunga Naina... kabhi maaf nahi kar paaunga..."

Naina hugged him tightly & replied, "Mr Sameer Maheshwari... mujhe meri jaan ki bilkul parwaah nahi hai. Jab bhi aapki jaan ko khatra hoga, toh main uske aur aapke beech khadi rahungi hamesha... Main aapko kuch nahi hone dungi Sameer. Mere hote hue aapko kabhi kuch nahi hoga."

Sameer's eyes teared up hearing her reply & he asked, "Main tumhari zindagi mein itna maayne rakhta hun Naina, ki tum mujhe bachaane ke liye khudko mitaane ko taiyaar ho?" She hummed in response...

He asked again, "Kya tum mujhe itna pya..." & he stopped, realizing what he was about to ask. But Naina understood his incomplete question & again hummed in response. She wanted to scream & confess her love for him, but she couldn't get the courage. She wasn't brave enough to face it for now.

Sameer loosened his hold & spoke, "Naina... jao fresh ho jao... main dinner order karta hun, tumhe medicines bhi toh leni hai na?" Naina didn't meet his eyes as she knew, if she met his eyes now, she would confess her love for him & she didn't want it to happen for now.

Turning around, she walked towards the washroom & locked the door. She took deep breaths as fresh tears gathered in her eyes, "Pataa nahi kab tak main apne dil ki baat aapse chupaa paaungi Sameer? Pataa nahi kab tak???"

When Naina came out of the washroom, she saw Sameer siting on the bed. She joined next to him & called up Nanu. They talked till their dinner arrived. As Naina's right arm was swollen & sprained, she was having a difficulty in eating. Sameer quietly started feeding her & she didn't protest. Infact, she loved the attention that her husband was showering on her.

Once done with their meal, Sameer gave medicines to her & asked her to rest on the bed. When he was back after locking the door & closing the curtains, he saw Naina struggling with her hair.

Sameer sat beside her & asked, "Main kuch help kar dun?" Naina looked at him strangely & asked, "Aap kya help karenge? Aapko choti baandhna aata hai?" Though Sameer had never done this before, but he had seen her tie her hair in braid many times.

"Main maanta hun ki maine pehle yeh kabhi nahi kiya, par main try kar sakta hun." Naina didn't question much & turned her back to him.

Sameer combed her hair first & then slowly started to tie her hair. Though it wasn't as perfect as Naina but it wasn't bad at all too. Naina was impressed with this & she thanked him for his help.

When they slept beside each other, Sameer shifted closer to her & spoke, "Agar pain jyaada ho, toh mujhe uthaa dena Naina. Main yahin hun..." Naina nodded & closed her eyes. After an hour or so, she opened her eyes & closed the distance between them.

She rested her head on his chest & mumbled, "I Love You Sameer... main aapse bohot pyaar karti hun aur main aapke liye kuch bhi kar sakti hun. Jo sawaal aap mujhse pooch nahi paaye, uska jawaab main aapko de rahi hun Sameer..." She kissed him on his heart & drifted to sleep...

As she closed her eyes, Sameer opened his to look at her serene face...
