The wind whistled in your ears as you shivered. Even though you were dressed with 3 layers, earmuffs,gloves, and the whole hullabaloo you were STILL cold. You chattered and muttered "Goddamnit, winter," under your breath.
You spotted VOCALOID(A/n: ikr so original), the new club that your friend Meiko had started working at. Meiko was a popular singer there, and also worked as the bartender because of her love of alcohol. Maybe you could say hi to her. After all, most of your friends had decided to go visit family and the others had gone to a concert together.
You shivered and ran inside, heading straight for the bar. Surprisingly there weren't a lot of people, and the only people there were drunk, as in head in a bucket barfing drunk. You had walked over to the bar counter and took a seat, glancing at Meiko. Meiko was ushering a disoriented customer out the door. After she waved she hurried back and you saw her outfit. She was wearing a blood red dress, with a revealing slit down her tight that showcased her slim, beautiful legs and accentuated her curves. A red flower was tucked into her hair and she wore black elbow length gloves along with black stockings. She looked seductively beautiful and alluring, like a femme fatale ready to lure a victim into a trap. When her eyes landed on you she smiled and walked over quickly, her black high heels making soft clop clop noises.
"Hello ______! Nice of you to stop by!" You blinked, startled. Even though she wore such a seductive outfit she responded to you like she would normally, loud and cheerfully. She walked behind the counter and rested her head on her elbows. "Want me to make you something? Or did you just come to see me?" She winked flirtatiously, smiling at you. You smiled back, your shoulders relaxing as you let out a sigh.
"I'm alright. I just wanted to talk to someone." Words spilled out of your mouth, and it was a relief to let out the thoughts to someone you trusted. "You see, everyone's left me and I was feeling a little lonely while walking home so I thought I could see you here." She nodded sympathetically. "You look beautiful, Meiko." A compliment slipped out and she looked surprised, er cheeks turning rosy before smiling. "You're so sweet. Honestly it's a real shame you're all alone tonight. They don't know what they're missing. I wouldn't have left you here for the world." It was your turn to blush, and you glanced down at the unexpected sweetness of her reply. "Meiko." You softly uttered,scared that words about your feelings would slip out of your traitorous mouth. "Yes, love?" She replied, her voice soft and uncharacteristically warm. You blushed again and said "Thank you, uhm that was really sweet of you. I love you a lot, thank you." You clapped both hands over your mouth, cheeks burning at your words. You had let it slip out. It was all over. Your long friendship would be over, and all the unspoken feelings you had developed had been thrown into the light. You closed your eyes, waiting for her to shun you, to tell you to get out, to walk away. Instead you felt a hand pulling your chin up. "_________," she said in a gentle voice. "Look at me,_________." You opened your eyes and stared into her beautiful crimson eyes. They were filled with compassion,love, warmth,happiness. All the good feelings. Not a trace of anger or hatred. "I love you too." She closed her eyes and pressed her soft lips against yours. The clock struck twelve and she whispered "Merry Christmas, my love."

AKA DAMNIT ME YOU FAILED AT UPDATING AGAIN WEEKLY i finaly remembered this draft and wanted to complete it as a present for you all. Tbh I think I had this since last year and never finished it but then I come back and wattpad had deleted my shit so I redid it and am quite satisfied with this short non lemon one. I'm probs gonna do a lemon continuation bc THAT FANART THO (IF SOMEONE KNOWS WHERE THATS FROM PLEASE TELL ME) AND BC I LOVE MEIKO OK (and all the other vocaloids). I also created an extended ending for the ppl who hated the ending above which is hopefully better and if it's just as bad or worse I'm sorry.
