If you chose the slightly safer "Training" route, you'll end up here. Cherish is known to be one of the few places where you can find Grass and Water type Pokémon. Even though it is coastal, the dense mist that comes in from the ocean is freshwater, and feeds the trees. This means the town is surrounded by dense foliage, and it's harder to see something if it comes to attack you.

You also must pay a fee to enter Cherish, and again you can battle trainers to earn the money. The Pokémon here offer more EXP than usual, and the Pokémon center actually lets you battle its Blisseys and Chanceys for a small price. A great chance to stock up on medical supplies, and the market has a few interesting talismans as well- powerful amulets and boosts.
