this is not an update, but PLEASE read on.

this is a statement to those who are experiencing issues with reading CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO and CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE regarding a display problem that occurred with the publication with those chapters. if the whole of chapter thirty-two and chapter thirty-three are displayed completely fine for you, then that's a relief and you can disregard the rest of this note.

it has come to my attention that a week ago, after i published chapter thirty-two, that some readers cannot read my chapter because of certain display issues that occurred suddenly after its publication. issues include: multiple paragraphs being repeated, paragraphs being cut off, sentences being repeated, sentences and words being cut off, and in some cases, half of the entire chapter has been cut off.

below are a few screenshots, sent by some of my readers, of what sort of display issues i'm referring to:

i thought i had fixed the problem after republishing and editing the chapter around four times later that day, and dropped the subject when i received no more reports from anymore readers still experiencing that problem.

unfortunately, earlier this morning, i found out that the issue had actually never been fixed. it turns out that the publication of the latest chapter, chapter thirty-three, also received the same display problem (repeated paragraphs, cut-off sentences, half of the chapter gone, etc.), with some readers claiming that chapter thirty-two is still messed up for them even after a week of me believing that it was back to normal.

this is very upsetting to me and it's also an irritating subject for me because i can't seem to find the root of the problem, even after contacting wattpad support. i'm not sure exactly how many people are experiencing this display problem, nor whether or not the problem is fixed for them or not yet, but i'm trying to bring this matter to everyone's attention in case the publication of future chapter end up the same way. i don't want this type of thing to happen because i don't want you all to patiently wait for an update and then when the update finally arrives, it's only shown as a jumbled mess and barely readable. i spend a lot of time and effort into writing each chapter of every book, and i sincerely want you guys to enjoy reading each chapter i publish, which is why i'm trying to fix this problem once and for all.

i've spoken with every reader that has seen the messed up chapters and i found out that all of them are android users, leading me to believe that this problem should only happen to android users, making it a possible android-exclusive issue. it could also just be a coincidence that all of them use android, but i don't know. BUT if you are not on an android device and you still got the display issue with either of the two chapters, please tell me so that i'll know that it's not just affecting android users.

therefore, if you guys are STILL EXPERIENCING DISPLAY ISSUES with chapters thirty-two and thirty-three, i think i found a solution to fixing the problem. i'm not sure if the solution is temporary or not, but it should work and make the chapter(s) understandable for the time being until i get through to wattpad. the solution is: remove my book from your library and add it back in, then check chapter thirty-two/chapter-thirty-three again.

ADDITIONAL solution: i've found out that this solution (although rarely) will not work for every single person. so, if you still have problems with chapter thirty-two or thirty-three even after removing and adding it back to your library, i'd recommend reading the chapter(s) on another device if you can, most preferably a computer or a laptop because the website version of wattpad doesn't seem to ever have any display issues.

the solution written above should fix the display of the chapter(s) as wattpad initially told me they believed the issue is simply due to the story not loading properly at first. HOWEVER, if the problem is still there even after you've removed my story from your library and re-added it, then please let me know as soon as possible so i can reach out to wattpad support again and get to the bottom of this because as i've already said, i don't want this to continue happening or occur once more in the future.

i'm terribly sorry for the bother, and i'm even more sorry to those who were looking forward to updates but came face-to-face with the confusing mess that happened to the previous two chapters.

EDIT 3 and CONCLUSION; i have contacted wattpad support and after reviewing my chapters on multiple android and iOS devices themselves, they said they didn't see any problems with my chapters on their end. however, they did tell me there could be a number of reasons why my chapters might be displaying weirdly on your phone. it could be due to your wifi connection, internet connection delays, the app not being updated, your OS version, the app being bugged, and many other possible causes. thus, wattpad cannot find the actual root of the problem to what happened to chapters 32 and 33.
