ShadowNathan777: Dammit Brian, stop it!

Sonicandbrian: What?

ShadowNathan777: We can't afford a flashback sequence yet! It's not in the budget!

Sonicandbrian: We have a budget?

ShadowNathan777: Yes!

Sonicandbrian: Oh.... then maybe I shouldn't have bought all those- Nevermind!

ShadowNathan777: What was that?

Sonicandbrian: N-nothing at all! Moving on, our next fight is between Scorpion from Mortal Kombat and Kratos from God of War. Let's see which of these two beasts of vengeance comes out on top!

ShadowNathan777: Did you spend the budget money on stupid stuff?

Sonicandbrian: MY YANG PLUSHIE IS NOT STUPID!!!

Somewhere in the Nether Realm...

Noob Saibot fell dead at Kratos' feet, his decapitated head rolling on the ground. Kratos gripped his swords, facing Quan Chi.

"Was that entirely necessary?" Quan Chi sighed, "It was enough trouble to resurrect him the first time."

"Enough with your petty games, Sorcerer!" Kratos growled, "A true warrior does not hide behind minions! Stand and face me, coward!"

"After seeing your abilities, a fair fight against you would be suicide." Quan Chi stated, "Scorpion!"

Suddenly, Scorpion appeared in a blaze of flames.

"I have business to attend to." Quan Chi began, "You shall face him in mortal combat." Quan Chi then summoned a portal, which he walked through. Kratos ran after Quan Chi, but was stopped by Scorpion as the portal closed.

"Another demon set to stand in my way..." Kratos sighed, "Leave now if you value your life!"

"I will watch you burn!" Scorpion hissed.

"The hands of death could not stop me..." Kratos began, "The Sisters of Fate could not hold me... and YOU will not see the end of this day!"

FIGHT!!!

Kratos swung his chained blade at Scorpion. Scorpion disappeared in a fiery burst, then reappeared behind Kratos. Scorpion landed a flaming punch to the back of Kratos' head. Scorpion then knocked Kratos into the air and threw a roped kunai into Kratos' chest.

"Get over here!" Scorpion exclaimed, pulling Kratos down. Scorpion then hit Kratos with an uppercut, sending him flying back. Kratos got up, then pulled out the bow of Apollo and fired several arrows at Scorpion. Scorpion pulled out twin swords and sliced the arrows out of the air. Kratos then charged up a fire arrow, shooting it at a flaming speed. Scorpion sliced through it, flames surrounding him. Suddenly, Kratos charged forward, equipped with the Nemean Cestus. Kratos landed a powerful punch to Scorpion's face, which made his skull crack. Scorpion flew back, but Kratos threw his chained sword into Scorpion's chest. Kratos then slammed Scorpion into the ground. Kratos then slashed Scorpion three times, flames trailing from his blades. Scorpion got up, punching the ground hard. Scorpion removed his mask to reveal the flaming skull that was his head. Scorpion breathed fire at Kratos. Kratos dodge rolled out of the way. Scorpion spat another fireball and Kratos used his Golden Fleece to redirect the blast at Scorpion. Scorpion tried to block, but the blast exploded, sending Scorpion back. Kratos then charged forward with the Blade of Olympus. Scorpion swung his swords as Kratos swung the blade. The two attacks went through and Kratos and Scorpion both lunged forward (Ninja Gaiden style). Kratos fell to his knee for a moment, but got back up as Scorpion collapsed into two symmetrical halves, split down the middle in a very gorey fashion. Kratos put away his blood-stained weapons and walked away from the blood-drenched scene.

FATALITY!!!

Sonicandbrian: Dammit! Now I owe you five bucks!

ShadowNathan777: But you can't deny, it was a good battle.

Sonicandbrian: (Sigh), yeah, I guess.

ShadowNathan777: Well, that's all for this fight. As for the next fight, our next battle will be between two unlikely rivals with similar abilities.
