Moon decided to make herself enjoy at least one more thing before getting eaten. She tucked her head into her wing and lay down on the soft, warm fur of the wolf.

She wasn't sure when she dozed off, just when and where she woke up. I'm not dead? Or eaten?  Moon woke up just before noon, and she was in a nest made of moss and fur from small animals.

"Hi!" Moon turned around and saw a wolf pup. The pup was black with purple eyes and white markings that looked like swirls. "I'm Raven! Wanna play? Wanna play? Wanna play?" Raven asked quickly. "Pleeeaaase? Red refuses to play and Whisper would rather be with the Healer!" Moon tilted her head. "Are you going to eat me?" Moon asked.

"No! I just wanna play!" Raven rolled over onto her back and stuck her tongue out as if panting. "Oh. My name is Moon!" Moon suddenly grinned evilly. She hopped onto Raven's stomach and started hopping. Raven started laughing. "That tickles! Whisper never plays with me like this! This is fun!" Raven continued laughing, enjoying being Moon's trampoline. 

After a while, they started to play a new game. Moon was a rabbit and trying to escape from Raven, while Raven tried to catch her. Moon hopped around the large cave, flapping her wings slightly to go faster. Raven painted as she chased Moon. Raven suddenly tripped over a random stuck prick and flopped onto Moon. "Oof!" Moon squirmed ants escaped from under Raven. Her feathers were slightly ruffled.

"Raven, why are you playing with the owl?" A black wolf pup with red paws and eyes walked into the cave. "Dad strictly said to tell him if the owl woke up." "Oh, loosen up, Red! By the way, I heard one of the Respected call you impetuous!" Red suddenly growled. "I am not impetuous! I am not hotheaded!" Moon tilted her head. "I think you are." Red turned and snarled at her. "Get the facts straight. I. Am. Not. Hot. Headed." 

Red yelped. Raven had tackled him and was sitting on him. "By the way, she has a name! Her name is Moon." Red shoved Raven off. "I'm telling Dad that the owl is awake. And I'll tell him that you didn't tell him!" "Loosen up, Red." A voice repeated what Raven had said. A white wolf pup was at the entrance. She was white with grey paws and markings that looked like swirls and ice blue eyes. The wolf looked like Raven but with different colors.

Red groaned. "Since when do you side with Raven, Whisper?" "Um, since I knew how to talk?" Whisper said. "But what about those times you agreed with me on the snow?" Red growled. "One time, Red. One. Time." Whisper said. "Fine. Let me just tell Dad that... 'Moon' is awake." Red padded out of the cave.

Moon had been welcomed into the Wolf Pack of the North, and had eaten a meal of half a rabbit. As she was settling to sleep in the middle of a Raven, Red, and Whisper, she saw glowing yellow eyes in the shadows. "I am coming for you. And when I get you, you'll wish you'd never hatched. So you better sleep with one eye open, or you'll end up dead like 'Mum' and 'Da.'"
