"Are we having fun yet, huh?" I tease the beautiful woman I'm holding my arms, as we sway our bodies in perfect rhythm with the music.

She chuckles as I twirl her around. "Yeah!"

Serah Farron is the best thing that's ever to happen to me. She's my lover. When I first met Serah, she told me she was from an entirely different realm and had accidentally got stuck here along with her older sister, Lightning. At first, I didn't believe her at all. I thought she may have had something to do with preventing my brothers and me from seeing mother. Of course, after the crisis, we soon realized that Serah and Lightning were being completely truthful. Knowing they had nowhere to go, my brothers and I offered them to stay with us in our new rental house. They accepted.
Ever since then, Serah and Lightning have been part of the family, and Kadaj had decided to give up on mother.
Now that we have two wonderful women here with us, we don't necessarily need to be with mother, do we?
I've gotten along with Serah the most in particular.
Almost in no time at all, I found myself falling madly in love with her. And now here we are today, on our first date.

"Yazoo," Serah smiles brightly at me after we finish our dance. "I'm so glad I got to meet you here in this faraway realm. I honestly don't know what I'd do without you now."

Bitter sweet tears fill my eyes. I love Serah very much, and I too, am glad she's here. But knowing that she's away from her other friends back in her own realm makes my heart ache.

"I'm glad to have met you, too," I reply, as I place a kiss on her forehead.

Serah smiles brightly once again, but then suddenly turns to a small frown.
"Lightning has been fighting in Valhalla for a few days now..." Serah mentions out of the blue, as she glances away from my eyes.

That's right... Lightning suddenly had to return to Valhalla. She said she was summoned once again by the goddess Etro to fight an unexpected enemy. She has yet to return, and Kadaj hasn't been himself ever since Lightning left. This has also been hard on Serah. I thought taking her on this date would help keep her mind off of it, but my attempts are futile so far.

"I know she's alive out there. I've been having dreams of her asking for my help," Serah continues to speak as she slowly steps away from me to look at the setting sun. "I can't take it anymore... I want my sister back!"

I walk closer to Serah and put my hand on her shoulder. "Calm down, Serah. I know this upsets you but..."
I'm suddenly cut off by Serah quickly turning around to face me.

"I'm going to find her," she declares.

What did she just say? She's not possibly going to find Lightning all on her own, is she? I stare at Serah in shock. Not once did she say anything about going to retrieve her sister until now.

"Don't go, Serah," I whisper while stroking her rose colored bangs.

"Those dreams I'm having must mean something. I can't just ignore them," Serah tells me, looking more serious than I've ever seen her. "I'm going to Valhalla, and I'll bring Lightning back."

I know Serah deeply loves her sister, and I understand why she would feel this way. But I can't risk anything happening to my partner.

I raise my voice a bit. "It's dangerous doing something like that on your own. If you're going, then so will I."

"No..." Serah walks away from me to turn the music from her cell phone off. "You don't need to be involved in this, Yazoo. I can handle this, okay?"

Nothing I say can change Serah's mind right now. It's best to just let her do what she feels as though is right. Even if her life is at risk... I have to trust her.

"Let's go home," Serah starts walking out of the meadow without me.

Should I really be letting Serah do this on her own? If anything happens to her at Valhalla... my life would never feel complete again.
