[This Soldier has some morals]

Parland grew up in StormHaven for most of his childhood until his father took him with Ceres's March and was with the construction of the Imperial Capital. His father died of natural causes and didn't get to see the capital finish building, but Parland sure did. He then joined the Imperial military after he became 18 to support the spread of the idea of advancing to modern time. He wasn't on duty during the first day of the Military Campaign, but only a few days later after that. He didn't mind firing at the Launzet forces, but what really shocked him was how his own nation's military just raided a harmless town and killed innocent people. After he witnessed such a massacre, he quit the Imperials and ran off away from the Imperials into Esmara, the smallest patch of Pereus there was. There, he began to build a farm and grew plants and vegetation to make a living.

Once Kars Reign began, the Launzet forces found out about Parland and arrested him and was sent to The Iris to pay for fighting for the Imperials.

He spent a year in there before an unknown adventurer was put in his cell on their first day
