So, I've made a little progress on Quiet today.

I updated the description last night.

I wrote a sentence today.

Be proud of me lol

But ugh. Today was tiring.
Nothing new but whatever.

But, the car ride was nice because it was warm inside and we were sorta-half-screaming twenty one pilots. It's great.

Speaking of, when Lane Boy came on my mom mutes it and says....

"You know what this reminds me of?"

"What?"

"The gerbils in the 'gerbil car'. Y'know. Thug gerbils."

"Oh....my god."

"Or dabbing gerbils."
*dabs*

"OH MY GOD."
*dies of laughter*

We went to the car lot today to sign a paper.

And DIS BOI IN FRONT OF US

PARKS HIS DAMN TRUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DRIVE-IN.

I saw this really pretty tree today by a tiny church.

It's leaves were all bright yellow and it had a ring of fallen leaves around it. Ugh. So pretty.

And, I saw two doves sitting on a power line, leaving my piano teacher's place.

They were cute :3

I remember when I was a kid, my dog Bear was trying to play with a bird.

I could only see it from a distance.

But, when I looked closer....

I saw that it was struggling.

So, I told Bear to stop.

I saw the bird looked horrible and was bloody.

So, I carefully picked it up....

And I realized what kind of bird it was.

It was a dove.

It was so soft. And beautiful, despite it being bloody.

So, I then too it to my mom.

And we then kept it in a crate for a couple of days until it healed.

I was sad that we had to let it go...

But it was so pretty seeing it fly off.

When I saw those two doves today, I remembered that small part of my childhood.

Then, it reminded me that the inevitability of death is oh so very real.
