(Weiss's POV)

I'm still upset about not being able to help those people from the radio. They were pretty close. I'm also worried about (Y/N). He woke up abruptly in a sweat and hugged me. I'm going to need to ask him what he was dreaming about that made freak out.

(Y/N): Whats up with these floating islands?

I looked out the window and saw floating islands with big crystals on the bottom. I turned to look at the pilot.

Weiss: Where are we?

Pilot: Nowhere good. Passing by some of Lake Matsu's floating islands. The gravity Dust that forms in these things is giving us a little turbulence. Nothing I can't handle, but the islands sometimes hide some nasty Grimm.

I walked to where the pilot is. I looked out and noticed an airship on fire and leaving a big trail of smoke behind it.

Pilot: I'm just betting on our friends in distress keeping them preoccupied.

I looked to my right and noticed pretty damaged airship coming right towards us.

Weiss: Look out!

The pilot went upward to avoid colliding with the airship. I looked and noticed that the airship is a Mistral airship. It collided with one of the floating islands.

Pilot: You've got to be kidding me!

I looked back and saw (Y/N) running in.

(Y/N): Whats going on?

Pilot: Not so great things.

(Y/N) closed his eyes and put his hand on his chin, thinking about what to do. The pilot turned the radio back on. I heard the Mistral pilot.

Mistral Pilot: By the gods, we've lost Percy! Help!

I looked out and saw another airship being chased by wasp looking Grimm. The Grimm used their stingers and hooked the ship in multiple directions.

Mistral Pilot: We're hooked! We're hooked!

The wood of the airship started to break.

Mistral Pilot: Everyone, abandon ship!

I saw one of the Grimm dive into the ship, causing the ship to explode and killing everyone on board. The Grimm looked at the ship I'm on and started to chase it.

Weiss: Come on (Y/N).

(Y/N): Alright.

We went back into the cargo hold and noticed a hatch. (Y/N) opened it and we jumped down.

Weiss: We are going to stop this swarm.

(Y/N): Yeah we are!

Good to see (Y/N) is excited about killing some Grimm. I heard the intercom system turn on.

Pilot: What are you two doing?

Weiss: What we should've done in the first place! You're carrying dust, Right?

Pilot: Officially, no. Actually, yes.

I walked over to a large container. I opened it and saw vials of powdered dust. I took six of them and filled my rapier.

Weiss: Then when I tell you, open the rear door!

Pilot: You two better make it quick!

Me and (Y/N) feel the ship move around more. The pilot is most likely dodging the Grimm.

Pilot: Kids, we're cutting it close!

I summoned two black glyphs. One under my feet and the other under (Y/N)'s feet, keeping us stuck to the ship. Me and (Y/N) got into our fight positions.

Weiss: Ready!

(Y/N): Let's get this gone!

The rear door opened and I saw the swarm of Grimm. (Y/N) made a fireball in his hand. He threw his hand forward.

(Y/N): Burst blast!

A blast of fire came out his hand. The Grimm flew around the fire, but it did hit one of the Grimm and killed it.

Pilot: Haha! Hold on!

I shot out some dust bullets and I killed one.

(Y/N): I see four more right now. Want to see who can kill more?

Weiss: This isn't the time for games, but I would win no doubt.

(Y/N): Then prove it.

Weiss: Fine. I will.

Did I just agree to his little game?

Weiss: Wait a minute.

(Y/N): Game starts now!

I sighed and turned my attention to the Grimm. I aimed and I was able to hit one. (Y/N) made an even bigger blast of fire and killed two more.

(Y/N): Looks like I'm up by one.

Weiss: I'm not losing this stupid game.

I shot a fire dust bullet and killed the last one.

(Y/N): Looks like it's a draw.

Weiss: At least I didn't lose.

The ship started to shake abruptly, causing me and (Y/N) to lose our balance.

Weiss: Ah! What was that?!

Me and (Y/N) looked up the open hatch to see two stingers in the ceiling of the ship.

Pilot: We're hooked!

I looked outside and more Grimm flying at the ship.

(Y/N): Great, more of those things.

Pilot: I got an idea! Hold on! Literally!

The ship started to speed up and going up higher into the sky. The pilot did a sudden dip downward, getting the stingers off the ceiling.

Pilot: Ha ha!

Weiss: I just thought of something. Can you find a pair of islands we can fit between?

Pilot: Kid, you are reading my mind!

The ship went in between two islands. I nodded at (Y/N). I shot some fire dust and (Y/N) shot out his own fire at a rock formation. The fire destroyed the rock formation and crushed all the Grimm.

(Y/N): Yes! That couldn't have worked out smoother.

Pilot: Yeah! Great going, kids! We are in the clear!

I sighed in relief and closed my eyes. I felt a tap on my arm. I opened my eyes and looked at (Y/N).

Weiss: Is something wrong?

(Y/N): I don't want to bring down the mood, but there is a huge wasp Grimm following us.

Weiss: What?!

I quickly looked forward and saw a huge version of the Grimm we have been fighting.

Weiss: It's a queen!

Pilot: What?! Do something!

I used a bunch of dust and made an explosion at the queen, causing smoke to appear. After waiting for a bit, the queen came out of the smoke and it looked completely fine.

Pilot: I see the shoreline! Gods, we're not gonna make it!

(Readers POV)

I shot at the queen, but it didn't do much. At best, my fire would slow it do slightly for a second.

(Y/N): Crap, how are we going to stop this thing?

I looked over and Weiss closed her eyes. A white glyph appeared on the floor and a giant knight in white armor.

(Y/N): You can do that Weiss?!

Weiss: I have a plan for killing the queen. Pull up, now!

The ship started to go straight up. Weiss's knight jumped out of the ship and headed right for the queen. The knight swung its huge sword and cut the queen Grimm in half, killing it.

(Y/N): Good job Weiss!

Her face turned a shade of pink and she looked away.

Weiss: I know I'm great.

I noticed that the ship started to descend.

Pilot: We are going down!

Weiss tried to slow the ship down by using big black glyphs, but they didn't do much.

(Y/N): Oh crap. Get ready for impact!

I rushed over to Weiss and held her as close as I can, trying to protect her. I closed my eyes and waited for impact.
