the rose slowly turned brown,
just like her ashes.

and she could finally.

close her eyes and be sightless,
together with her flameless lover.

then she could enjoy his company,
even though she wouldn't be able to speak anymore.

EXPLANATION:

they're both alive and dead.

remember when he said,
"my family sent me to a mental hospital" AND his brother saying something?

that was Ice. he wanted to tell Blaze that Rra is actually dead, but only in the fragment of his past. as in, Rra is a phantom that only Blaze could see.

RRA is not dead, only partly-alive.

and this whole story actually means that Rra reincarnated, and recieves the letter AFTER Blaze becomes a phantom.

as in, these two never actually met.
they can only see each other, but not speak to each other. BLAZE can only speak with her, RRA can't reply.

and it goes the other way around for the ending of this book. RRA can only speak with him, BLAZE can only smile.

they're soulmates, but they're too far, yet too close to reach each other. one dies, the other lives, and it continues on like that until on this last chapter.

RRA was the one who's alive in the last chapter, and she reads the letter BLAZE has left before he becomes a phantom.

so yes, this is a love story.

between humans and phantoms.
